We had a lovely time at Mastro's! We sat outside at the penthouse. Our server, David, was very friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. Everything was delicious - crispy garlic tuna sashimi, Spanish white anchovy Caesar salad, petite filet, sea bass, branzino, white cheddar mac & cheese, broccolini, and truffle butter sautéed wild mushrooms. The food came out perfect and we loved everything! The wine was perfect too. The atmosphere was nice - they had live music and even though we were right by the piano, it was too loud or distracting. Can't wait to come back!

Food was delicious.
I tried their blackened salmon that had amazing flavor and was very moist. I also tried their mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and truffle fries. The sides were good but not really anything special about them. The fries were supposedly made with "truffle oil" but honeslty tasted like regular fries and we were charged more for truffle. So don't order truffle fries. The service was great but honeslty not sure this place is worth the price.
Delicious food incredible staff.
I've been too many times to count and have hosted many private dinners. Our go to when it's just the two of us - share a Cesar salad and sautéed shrimp which is the best, that sauce is addicting. We each order a steak and share asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. When eating with more we usually add more sides and salads.
I've been to many Mastro's.
I just say, this is one of the most impressive restaurants I've been to. In the heart of Beverly Hills, this restaurant is three story high, and it's always packed. You can expect excellent service and a full bar. The bone in ribeye is delicious. The private rooms, the decor, and the environment, all great. I'm really don't understand the three stars. You're going to a Mastro's. It's going to be 5 stars for sure!

Yesterday, I went to Mastro's Restaurant with a friend for a girls' night out. The service from getting seated to our waiter was excellent. We ordered the Big Eye Tuna Tartare, the 6 oz Petite Steak, and the Lobster Mashed Potatoes. We started with the Big Eye Tuna Tartare, and unfortunately, it was not to my liking. As a sushi enthusiast who frequently orders tuna tartare, I found this dish disappointing. While the crispy onions and avocado were good, the tuna had a chewy texture, reminiscent of ground beef, which was quite off-putting. Next, we tried the 6 oz Petite Steak, which was quite good, and the Lobster Mashed Potatoes, which were also enjoyable. However, my experience was marred by an awkward encounter in the restroom. There was an attendant with a tip jar who handed me a paper towel to dry my hands. After using the towel and discarding it, I felt uncomfortable as she gave me a look suggesting I should tip her just for handing me a napkin. The evening took a turn for the worse when, shortly after returning home, I started experiencing severe food poisoning symptoms. My friend also complained of stomach pains before we left the restaurant. I became violently ill within 30 minutes of arriving home, which left a terrible impression on me. I dine out frequently, visiting multiple restaurants weekly, but this experience at Mastro's was particularly upsetting. Due to the food poisoning and the uncomfortable restroom encounter, I regret to say that I will not be returning.

Gorgeous restaurant with several dining rooms, two bars (maybe a third upstairs??), and live music. We began with cocktails, served in shakers left at the table. The wine list features not only the usual fantastic wines but also some hidden gems. Our group of four enjoyed a superb dinner, including the Filet, bone-in Filet, Lobster mashed potatoes, mushrooms, Mac and Cheese, and a lobster tail. Key lime pie and the Butter cake were the perfect end to a great meal. Service was impeccable--our waiter was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu!

We went to this place last night unfortunately it wasn't very professional services compare to other restaurants I have been. 1-Waiters was very ignorant and never responded to your requests quickly or totally ignoring you 2- seriously you should pay for restrooms? They have a gentleman staying in the restroom selling food (is that healthy) and giving services the way that you have to pay tip I didn't expect that in this type of restaurant!!! 3- food was good and delicious but you can find the same test in other restaurants with way cheaper
First of all, the drinks are amazing 10 out of 10.
I would also say that is very worth getting valet parking. It was only $17 and very convenient. The bartender was very very nice. And our servers and our hose were so nice. I really appreciate the service here 10 out of 10. me and my boyfriend got the ribeye. It was delicious. Eight out of 10. Four sides I like the scallop potatoes eight out of 10, but I wish it just had more sauce. And the spinach cream was very good. Maybe need a little salt eight out of 10. My friend loved his tuna, and the tuna tartare was very good 9/10 I have to come back and say I really loved the service here. It will we went for our friends birthday and her name was on the menu. I thought that that was such a beautiful touch. And the server was timing out our appetizers. That was a 10 out of 10, but I will definitely say that the service is worth it.

I attended a birthday party tonight with some friends and we dined in the first floor dining area which was empty except for our table but quite nice not to eat on the second floor where the live music drowns out your conversation. Tonight I had the heirloom tomato salad with mozzarella and for the main course I had the 8 ounce filet mignon sides of asparagus, French fries and Lobster mashed potatoes and the meat was excellent. For dessert I had the combination sorbet, a hot tea and an Arnold Palmer. Mastro's Steakhouse is a festive place to dine, especially for a special occasion like a birthday. Located at 246 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, the number is 310-888-8782 and you can visit them online at www.mastrosrestaurants.com If you seek and upscale dining experience with great staff and customer service, check out Mastro's Steak House of Beverly Hills. The dress code is flexible, but I would recommend a jacket or suit for men. RECOMMEND!

I really do not like writing bad reviews and I have put this off for a very long time. Every time I drive past the restaraunt I have a bad feeling because of my last experience there. I took my mother there for Mother's Day and when I made the reservation, the man who answered the phone could not have been more kind. I complemented him and told him I was so pleased with the service over the phone. When my mother and I arrived (on time) the two women at the hostess stand, had us wait at the bar. My mother and I were very patiently waiting until we noticed the hostesses were seating people at tables while we waited. We waited so long that I went to the stand and complained that we had been waiting probably 30 minutes while other people were being seated. They finally, after making his wait a little longer, seated us when most of the restaurant had already left. This was supposed to be a really fun and social night for my mom as she doesn't go out that often. I've wanted to walk in and talk to someone about this because I spent a lot of money there that night and my mother was not happy with the experience or the memory. I had told her how fantastic the restaurant was and it was so disappointing be be treated like that. It's now just a bad memory for us rather than a beautiful Mother's Day together

They are the definition of a dynamic duo. With a great personality and the most amazing smiles made our dining experience, dynamite. The cocktail "Dream berry" was so delicious I couldn't get enough. That was made and created by Cheryl. Thank you so much !!! For making this day a day to remember.

Amazing experience.
We had "K" as our server. He was fantastic and really made the experience wonderful. Had great conversation with him, he was always available and personalized a dessert just for us! Thank you, K! The musician Chloe was fantastic as well. It will definitely be a stop again next time we are in the Big Apple!

Apparently this is the Mastro's that The Rock frequents according to our waiter. Just a little fun fact and what a great way to get a good meal started. We had a reservation so as we waited for the rest of our party we sat at the bar and had a beer. Small bar as you enter but great place to wait as they get your table ready. Once we were all there we got seated and ordered other drinks as we looked over the menu. Bone-In Ribeye - Cooked Medium Rare with a warm center in the middle. cooked perfectly topped with their truffle butter. This was an excellent cut of beef that came out hot and that butter just added an extra hint of goodness. You really can't go wrong with this cut of beef, especially if you like a little fattier cut. Of course you need a couple sides to share while enjoying a nice steak. Truffle Butter Sautéed Wild Mushrooms - Great flavor, cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch to them if that make sense. White Cheddar Mac & Cheese - Can you really go wrong with mac & cheese. The gooey, cheesy goodness was great tasting and couldn't get enough of it. Garlic Mashed Potatoes - Just the right amount of garlic and anything potato is always great. Roasted Brussels Spouts - A little greenery on the plate never hurt any one and what a better way than Brussels sprouts. Nice crunch to them and great flavor. If you are ever around the area and looking for a good tasting steak, give this place a try. Stay hungry my friends.
One of my favorite Mastros locations.
With an extremely inviting exterior and a dark relaxed interior this steakhouse is one to set the ambiance. The food is always on point, and they are more than willing to make your experience right, from start to finish. Do not hesitate to share if your drink or food is not up to par. Our servers have always been extremely kind, and informative. Food comes out piping hot, and ready to devour. What's not to love? I highly suggest some mashed potatoes, filet mignon, and a nice cocktail. You cannot go wrong! Personalized menus available for those who want to reserve for a special occasion. Went here in October of 2023.
Was my favorite steak house ; even drove to have out of state. Will never return. Steak was horrible and almost raw when asked for medium. Even recooked tasted awful. Really went down hill since the last time was there
I really hate to post this review but it needs to be done.
I've been here in LA for 12 years and I was a loyal customer at Mastros for a majority of that time. It was my favorite spot for a great cocktail and my go to for comfort food and a wonderful steak. I used to recommend Mastros to all of my friends and family who came to town and I just can't do that anymore with how bad things have gotten. I'm not sure when or at what point things started to go downhill, but there has been a significant decline with the quality of the customer service at Mastro's in the past couple of years. Some , not all, of the front of house staff seem unwelcoming and quite frankly undertrained for a fine dining establishment. I treat everyone with respect and I have complete empathy for individuals working in hospitality because I know how draining it is to deal with all the very different and demanding personalities out there. However, I'm not going to give my time/money to an establishment that 2X now has shown me disrespect. I'm no longer giving Mastro's any more chances and I'll just head to Boa in West Hollywood where they seem to be friendlier and more accepting.
Amazing from start to finish.
This restaurant is amazing. From the moment we walked in the service, ambience and food was faultless. Our server was very passionate and talked us through all food options, considering the areas of LA nothing was pretentious and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend if in LA for the Beverly Hills experience

Absolutely terrible…. 7:30 reservation ….waited 15 mins to be seated…30 minutes to have our order taken ….salad came 20 minutes later…after waiting another hour with no main course we decided to leave…waitress and manger apologized and let us leave without paying for salad…we had paid for drinks at bar which I regret

Wow wow wow, what a fantastic restaurant. We are here visiting from London with friends and our concierge at the Beverley Wiltshire recommended this restaurant. Fantastic. Food was amazing, decor and atmosphere first class and the live music performed by Alex and Kyle was superb. Finally our waitress Amanda, was brilliant, professional but friendly, gave us amazing advice and our table was always being looked after. This place is a must visit in LA

One of my favorite restaurants! This past year, I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Mastros San Francisco, Mastros Scottsdale & more recently Mastros Beverly Hills! The food is always spot on! The service is amazing & the old school ambiance is perfection!
Cheap Quality Food for High end prices & location. NO!
3 of us went to this place for a business dinner with very high hopes and eager anticipation - because the ritzy location, positive reviews and sky high prices, but we left extremely disappointed, dissatisfied and $800 poorer :(( 1) Mediocre, cheap quality food. When they were reading off certain things on the menu they mentioned that the fish was cooked in canola oil. WTH?! Not even real real oil but canola oil which is all chemical based and very cheap and unhealthy. That was the first red flag. Come on this isn't red lobster or even cheesecake factory. Our entrees costs over $250 a person. At least it should be cooked in Olive oil or coconut oil or something exotic and healthy for that price. 2) Bad and mediocre service. The waiter was nice and friendly but kept forgetting about our table and forgetting little things we asked for loke lemons, more water, a side sauce, etc., and we had to keep reminding them to bring it. 3) The quality of the salad, horrendous! I ordered a Caesar salad and the lettuce was browning and wilted. I was so disappointed I didn't even tell the waiter. I was there with business acquaintances and didn't want to Make a big deal out of anything so I ate the brown wilted salad. Lettuce is cheap there is no excuse to have poor quality lettuce. The quality of the bread was mediocre as well. It wasn't bad but it is for a 5 star restaurant. No excuses. This is the most expensive dinner I have ever had. It came up to $800+ and it's one of the most disappointing meals I've had. Honestly, my whole meal was Sizzler quality, or what I imagine Sizzler quality would be. A cheap, all you can eat, $15.99 pp kinda steak house. My acquaintances ordered steak and caviar, and the sea bass, and they didnt complain about it, so those items were probably ok, but I didn't ask them. My favorite steakhouse is Eddie Vs and it's a 100 times better, high quality and tastier. I mentioned that place because I was expecting this to be of similar quality and as good but this place was worse but more expensive. I ordered salmon and it was bland. The mash potatoes were also tasteless. NOTHING WAS ACTUALLY GOOD. Needless to say I will not be going back to Mastro's Steakhouse. Even if I was invited and someone else was paying, I would choose another place. The only reason I'm writing a review is because if someone happens to read this and is planning to go to a very special place and spend a lot of money, this is not the place. The only positive was the location and the ambience and also the staff was very friendly. Those are awesome qualities but not enough for an $800 meal for 3. Spend your money on a place that at least uses Olive oil, or high quality oil, and not cheap, chemical based canola oil. This is a high end location with high end ambiance, but the food is low end. Brown wilted lettuce just sums it up. :((😌 They are certainly taking advantage of their location because the food is terrible in context with the pricing!

Very Wonderful luxurious dining experience. Everything was totally worth it. My date & I had a lovely experience. Great Live music was up & running. Left my sports car rental upfront with the valet gentleman. Upon leaving the establishment, vehicle was ready for take off which created our experience more fancy. Great Job! My date was so flattered in our first time dining out. Definitely Recommended!

We were invited by our friends on a sunday night to celebrate their anniversary at Mastro’s Beverly Hills. The steak was perfectly cooked!🥩 Great options of their appetizers, desserts, and drinks🍷Been staying here in Los Angeles for 12 years and I can definitely say that this is the BEST STEAKHOUSE EVER! Kudos to the Asian Valet Guy, Lucas, he was very polite and professional! Took care of my brand new vehicle at the front. Overall, we had a very wonderful experience and we will definitely be back here!

This is more dim and romantic vibes it's more closed setting. But entertainment is great. Both floors have live music!! The third floor, the penthouse has more of a open and modern vibe. Ok wine is amazing!!!!! I usually drink wine when I eat here because their wine selection is superb. And you can not leave without having the butter cake for dessert. Can't say I didn't tell you.

I just told the waiter I wanted pink in the middle with some red. It was overcooked on the filet side. The manager told me Landon should have informed me the filet side cooks faster, he did not, the manager brought another 6 oz filet. The filet was cooked perfectly, juicy, seasoned just right, one of the best filets I have every had. Bone marrow butter enhanced the steak. I went to culinary school; I know a little about cooking a steak. At that point I was in a food coma so I had the creme brûlée, if I had room in my stomach, I would have had the world famous Butter Cake or the key lime pie.Managers Bryan and Matt came by and chatted with us for awhile, they know what hospitality is all about, great guys and great assets for Mastro's. Landon informed us the Crab Fried Rice was not being served tonight, a manager later informed us it was, when Landon returned I ordered it. I expected the rice to come soon, it did not. It was brought with the main dish, it was cold so I assume it had been sitting for awhile. Landon was missing in action a lot of the time, I felt he did not care. He ran hot and cold. This place has good cocktails, music, ambiance, and the food. The service was lacking from Landon.

Our server Kelly was the definition of hospitality and she was so nice.Very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the filet and it was sooo tender. My boyfriend got the bone in ribeye which is a huge steak we had to take half home! So delicious! Sides are generous portions so you can share. We were too full for dessert so Kelly suggested some cognac and it made our night. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back for the butter cake next time!

Mastro's Steakhouse Beverly Hills is one of the finest restaurants. I walked in and was seated right away. I sat on the 2nd floor at a table. The waitress was very professional and polite. The staff was also friendly and polite. We were served all different kinds of bread in one basket with butter. I ordered the pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes. The pork chop was delicious and came with a Apple sauce. For dessert I ordered the cheesecake. Very good. If your looking for a night out this would be the spot. Beautiful dining area and ambiance. I recommend Mastro's Steakhouse Beverly Hills

Picture proof sent and acknowledged. Absolutely ridiculous that a place like Mastro's would try to pull this. So many other options around BH. Sadly, last time I will go or order from here.
This should be a five-star experience for the price point.
I would recommend this for a special occasion for adults as they are brown butter cake was the highlight of my evening (I bake so my standard is high) and my husband who cook steaks and is familiar with the snake river farms brand and raved about the tomahawk. I thought the steak has texture that comes with high quality steak but it didn't have a depth of flavor I'm used to with that brand. I think they're understaffed because the bread never came out until we asked nor did water for my daughter who is three, and didn't ask until I realized after she ate her petit filet steak that she needed it. They didn't have children's cup so they gave us a glass for her. During entree they brought out a 100 degree hot plate when the waitress asked the bus boys not to. They had to bring us ice shortly after because of course she teaches and touches it. The manager did come to apologize for my daughter touching the plate which was important to show they missed they step and the consequences was not only that she got injured it ruined the ambiance for everyone for a little bit. Including us. The brussels sprouts at their Pacific Coast Highway location in Malibu is so much better. The ones came out burnt and lacking flavor. My daughter loved the burrata, the tomatoes are out of season but they put spices to add flavor to that.

However today it was awful. Lobster tail at 125 bucks was burnt and disgusting had to return it. Service awful no desert menu. This place is going down hill. Despite the fact that this was my favorite restaurant I will never come back here again

The music is waaaaayyyyy too loud here. Multiple reviews have stated this but it seems you all have continued to blast the entertainment and music. When people come to Mastro's they think elegant, classy dining. What we got was LOUD OBNOXIOUS cruise ship music. No one should leave here with a headache. Our group of friends couldn't even have a normal conversation bc the music was so loud. If I wanted to hear music I would've went to a bar or concert. Thankfully we were able to be moved to a private room but this should've never happened. It ruined the night and left a bad vibe for all of us. Stop this please Mastro's. Annoying!

This has always been my fave steakhouse and especially this location. Everything about it, from the ambiance, the crowd, the piano bar, the drinks, and the food of course. I just am wondering when the dress code stopped being enforced? I don't understand how it's ok for patrons to come in to dine in sweats and hoodies? I didn't see one but several dressed this way and it's a huge disappointment. It almost makes you feel out of place, that you took the time out to dress up so nice for dinner while others aren't putting any care into their appearance. There should be a strict dress code for everyone to adhere to when you are coming to a fine dining establishment. I actually thought there was at Mastro's. I also saw a gal hanging out in overalls that were half on and half off wearing a beanie. I was just taken back on the crowd I suppose and it seems the days when people dressed to impress are gone since Covid. Other than that, service was impeccable and the food A+.
This is a staple in our LA rotation.
All the food is superb, wine service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Corkage isn't too awful, but if you share your wines or make friends with the servers, it can often be waived or deeply discounted. The only thing keeping it from being a perfect experience is the fact it's a very noisy and very dark dining room, which makes it tough on conversation.
Standard steakhouse with a nice setting
We have been there many times in the past, and we came back very excited about having a nice and juicy steak, but we were a little disappointed as my ribeye was not as tender as expected, nevertheless, ths place is nice and the service friendly.

We were there for a business meeting . Great tower of seafood , atmosphere , attention was late but over all meat Cira are very good and sea food is delicious , drinks are great if you choose mixology .
Great food and atmosphere
Vibrancy, intimate service, high energy, beautiful decor. The starters were mouth watering and the fillet steak melted. The cold beer went down well and the accompanying Margaux 96. We’ll be back next time in LA.
Steakhouse or Sports Bar?
More like a sports bar than a steakhouse. Absolutely packed with hundreds of people. The service (Alex) was a standout, yet to be fair the fries were cold and the mac and cheese not great. disappointingly, my steak was ok, but that’s it. So, I was underwhelmed unfortunately, as this is a venue that charges absolute top dollar.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Mastro's Steakhouse Beverly Hills to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
