Terrible food.
Terrible service. Never go here for a special occasion or times when they have a limited menu. The service and food used to be good. Not anymore. It seems like they have a new chef and new management - awful.
Wonderful atmosphere and even better food.
Went for Mother's Day and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Great food and good wine list and options. We'll definitely be back.

The frozen espresso martinis are the best in the city! I could go here for these alone however they're so strong that you'll need some delicious food to soak it up. The menu is fairly extensive with various options. During my last visit, I tried the mushroom burrata appetizer and filet mignon. The meal was delicious! The service was also impeccable. On a busy Saturday evening, our waiter was quite attentive and also provided us with some amazing recommendations. One slight piece of feedback is that there were A LOT of bones remaining in the fish after being de-boned by the waiter. The other guest in my party actually choked on a bone. He is doing well, but it did ruin the experience for him a bit. I'm looking forward to coming back to try other items on the menu such as the ostrich pasta dish! The ambiance here is low key, yet elegant. It gives "put on your upscale bohemian attire and Chanel bag and meet me at Yebo" vibes. I'm convinced that one of these days I'm going to run into a fun group of women to hang out with because everyone always seems to be having such a great time! Signing off for now... to go try to re-create that espresso martini recipe!

Had a dinner party for 8 at YEBO to host the Black Employee Resource Group during our work retreat. I tried to RSVP 4 days in advance for 10 but I was deterred by the requirement to pre-pay $65 a head minimum. I ended up booking the day of for 6 and adding the other 2 people. The experience was outstanding and I would have no reservations pre-paying in the future. The food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the ambiance was intimate but lively.

We went there for our friend”s birthday. She found this place online and was eager to try it as it looked really fancy. Yes, the location was nice, and yes, the interior looked nice. The food was OK, pretty normal , nothing to really remember. But the service was … average and below… we were seated , asked about drinks and such and left alone. I understand that classy restaurants give you time to get comfortable and chat for a while. But they provide drinks and appetizers … not here. Mix drinks and lemonade came in 10 min. And my wine came even later. Probably it was delivered from New Zealand as it was the country of origin. The waiters were friendly but visibly stressed. Maybe something was going on with their kitchen but it took quite some time to get your food. The restaurant might ne understaffed- the guests could enjoy the view of dirty plates and glasses on the tables for .. I dont know.. 10 min … longer… Well… would i go back? NO! Would I recommend the place? Maybe but will definitely add - to your own discretion

Yebo Beach Haus was another place I had seen so many times on Instagram and hesitated to visit. A lot of people compared it to 10 Degrees South and I like their food so I figured I'd take my mom for dinner. Okay sooo, this place can be hard to find if you don't know where to look. There's no clear signage from the street or parking lot. It's sort of downstairs in this shopping plaza, quad. Once you walk down the stairs, it's like descending into another world. The lights are really low, the ambiance is set, the music is loud but not so much that you can't hear yourself. It reminded me of underground Manhattan restaurants. I started with the crab dip and the mussels. The crab dip was delicious. It was creamy and flavorful and I love that they serve it with chips made out of root vegetables. That was a nice touch. The mussels were good but nothing too spectacular about them. For my entrée, I ordered the caperberry chicken piccata. I rarely ever order chicken dishes when I eat out but our server assured me it was good. I loved the flavor of the sauce. It had the right amount of acidity for me and the chicken was cooked well although the light breading on the chicken quickly started to fall off. I was excited for the lemon risotto but it wasn't as creamy as I like my risotto to be; it was still a little hard. On the bright side, this is the first time I've eaten broccolini in years (I don't like it) and I actually enjoyed it. I was trying to get good pictures of the food but because of the darkness, it can be hard to get a clear picture. I tried to take one with my flash and a man I assume is the manager walked over and told me I can 't use flash. There was a table of women behind me talking pictures and videos with flash so I'm not sure what the actual policy is regarding this. Our server came by to ask about dessert, grabbed our plates and walked away so fast that we didn't notice until a few minutes later that he never asked if we wanted boxes for our food. He just took our plates and moved quickly through the restaurant and we had what could have been next-day leftovers on there. The last dish I tried was the crème brulee. Crème brulee is my favorite dessert so I try it everywhere I go. Unfortunately, this one was not good. There wasn't much custard and what custard there was, was just okay. They do not serve theirs in a ramekin like most places; it's in this really thick, hard to break crust at the bottom. I ended up scraping the little bit of custard off of the crust and just leaving the crust behind because it wasn't enjoyable to eat. I would go back and try a few more dishes and just to enjoy the atmosphere.

havent been to yebo since they were at their previous location. our server was the best she was seriously amazing. the food was great drinks were great. overall great experience. i love their igloos they put up in winter so cute. we ordered a variety of things and everyone enjoyed!
An aesthetically pleasing restaurant.
First it's absolutely beautiful inside and our server was amazing I forgot his name but young blonde man. We were seated right away and the food was amazing. I had the Branzino, a lot of bones but very tasty tender and well seasoned. I added a side of chimichurri which was perfect. I also had a sparkling South African Rosé which was a great choice. The crab dip was delicious and hot and paired with the most perfect vegetable chips. They were crisp and obviously made fresh. I would definitely be going back!

Yebo dinners never ceases to impress me, and my latest visit was no exception. For winter they added adorable igloos decked out with lights, set up in the courtyard, offering a cozy and unique dining experience. Unlike other places like the top of PCM, they don't charge an extra $100 for you to dine in one. As always, the service at Yebo was top-notch. The staff here really know how to make you feel welcome and taken care of, a consistent highlight of every visit. We started with the mussels and the crepes. Both dishes were good, but let me tell you about those crepes again - they are an absolute must-try. I can't imagine a meal here without them. For our main course, we split the scallops. It's always a delight when a simple dish is executed to perfection, and Yebo nails it with their scallops every time. We rounded off our meal with raspberry cheesecake, which was the perfect end to a delightful meal. Every dish we tried was delicious per usual. I've never been disappointed by Yebo Beach Haus, and each visit just reinforces my love for this place. Can't wait to return and see what other seasonal surprises they have in store!

With a beautiful modern ambiance and a very energetic vibe we had a lovely dinner with new friends. The buratta, calamari, caper berry chicken, scallops, halibut and berry chocolate dessert were all delicious and service was great.
Unnecessary charges
The manager was unhelpful and rude. We were celebrating our grandfather’s birthday and brought his favorite cake. Despite informing them when I made the reservation they charged us an undisclosed $40 fee to cut the cake- for lunch. It was inappropriate and when I spoke with Sam he was unapologetic and rude about it
Delicious
Definitely upscale. Eclectic ambiance and atmosphere. Great service. Exotic menu meant for a sophisticated palette. The ostrich sliders were a delicious appetizer. The duck was moist and cooked to perfection. A simple dish like lamb and carrots was flavorfully elevated via a combination of subtle spices. Finish with Tiramasu, and you can't go wrong.

Great dinner and service at Yebo. Katie, our lovely server was outstanding. Great selection of cocktails and wine. Mushroom Burrata and salad for starters. Burrata was wonderful. I had the snapper special which was great! Sea Salt Carmel ice cream for dessert. I will return!! Enjoyed it!!
South African treasure in Buckhead
Loved this little spot in Buckhead here in Atlanta. Service was excellent and our server knew every detail about the menu and garnishes. I ordered the filet mignon and hubby ordered the sea bass. We had drinks as well - South African Chardonnay and margarita. The decor was decked out in South African fabrics and Elements on the wall. Free valet was onsite as well.
Perfectly prepared food.
Do not let the pretentious atmosphere put you off. The dress code seems a bit off putting at a place called "Beach Haus". But, do not let that discourage you, the food at Yebo Beach Haus is exceptional. The citrus white wine sauce on the Scottish Salmon delivered the perfect balance of citrus and savory. The quinoa made a perfect complement, soaking up all the flavors on the plate.
