Great lunch spot and absolutely perfect for views of Positano during the day! Come between 12-12:30pm to get a table with no wait. Recommend the clam pasta, octopus appetizer and the melon parma dishes.
Wonderful dinner experience with tasting menu!
Wonderful dinner experience with tasting menu! We went for date night and had the bigger tasting menu and loved every course. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was creative and delicious and drinks were great too. Highly recommend. I was hesitant going here because of a bunch of negative reviews, but we enjoyed every aspect of the meal and experience and could hear lots of positive feedback from the other guests. The dining rooms is very small and intimate and has a great view of the sea! I think the negative reviews are mostly coming from people that just like to complain when given the forum. If you go in with a positive attitude, you are going to have a great time!

Terrible. Save your money and AVOID. Your’e paying for the sunset view, if they decide to seat you on time…. We were in Positano and they graciously had a complimentary golf cart pick us up from the bottom of town 25 minutes before our scheduled dinner at 7:30. Once we got in, they told us we were early and had to wait at the bar. After almost an hour we had to ask to be sat at our table. They acted like we needed to ask to sit at our reserved table…completely ridiculous. When we were finally sat, seafood was okay, staff was even worse. The chef should be embarrassed to offer them as staff. Spent $1k on a pairing meal that should have been no more than $100. AVOID THIS PLACE

Amazing food! Husband and I had the top-tier tasting menu and it was excellent! Unlike some other Michelin-rated restaurants, we were very full by the end of our tasting … and then it just kept coming! The staff was incredibly nice, observant, and timely. The unique aspects of their tasting menus could be seen at all the tables. Compliments to the chef as the food was really quite incredible!
Michelin Experience
If visiting Positano, and you are looking for a Michelin star experience, look no further than Li Galli. The restaurant offers stunning views as it sits atop one of the main hills of Positano. My wife and I chose the tasting menu rather than a la Carte which is what I would recommend along with the wine pairing option for the full experience. We made the rookie mistake of traveling to Li Galli Bistro which is on the other side of Positano. We were not going to be able to make it to the reservation on time by foot. It was no problem, the restaurant sent a golf cart to pick us up, and we made it on-time which highlights the white glove service you can expect at Li Galli. While upscale, the staff are unpretentious, making you feel comfortable which is not always the case at Michelin rated restaurants. Seating options are limited and the restaurant books out, so make sure to make your reservation well in advance of your trip to Positano.
Horrendous
Appalling! Horrendous! Not Professional. Had advance reservation for 2 to celebrate 20 year wedding anniversary at 930 pm. Paid 100 euro each to reserve. Li Galli did not honor our reservation even though I replied and confirmed, had photo confirmation and receipt. It was 930 pm, 20 year wedding anniversary and suddenly we there wasn't anywhere fancy to go on short notice since Li Galli did not honor our reservation. Their staff insisted the hotel restaurant upstairs was nice enough so they seated us to eat on the roof top lounge/restaurant to be around beer drinking, chain smoking tourists in tee shirts, flip flops and shorts. We were dressed up, seated outside in the 80 degree heatwave temperatures to celebrate our wedding anniversary, at the hotel restaurant and bar & pool. Think about that. This was literally the most disappointing. Li Galli's treatment was appalling. Shame on you for ruining our 20 year anniversary dinner. The level of hurt is beyond words. This entire trip to Positano revolved around this one night, and Li Galli, a Michelin star restaurant couldn't even hold a reservation nor communicate like professionals. Shame on you.
Worst Michelin Star restaurant I’ve ever been
Luckily I’ve been in lots of Michelin Stars restaurants all over Europe and this one I’ve been today unfortunately is the worst. Not for the food, far way from it, by the way congrats to the chef. But infront of a chef, there is a place and in the front of a place there is a staff. The staff from the beginning and in the end made my experience terrible. First of all as all can see the the pictures of the restaurant there is a view, yes there is, but except in one table, my table, in front of the neighbor building roof, no view. I kindly asked to cheng my table after some table in the front finish the dinner, so after all my reservation was 9 pm and most of other tables started 7:30, so soon or later they could move to another table. I understand at 9 there is no availability, but i kindly asked to be moved later. Answer was no, no and no. I kindly asked to change my reserve to the next night , no too. So I kindly asked to cancel my reservation and don’t charge and cancel the 200eur charge for reservation, no again and after that i was “suggested” to order my dinner or i will loose the money. After that who wants to stay in a place like this? So it took half hour and they told me to start my dinner and they can change the table after someone close the bill, by the way took 15min. So in the end of the day lot of stress by the way with the manager who was in charge of this, to solve a simple problem that i (again) kindly ansked to be moved after they have a empty table. Food was good as at minimum a Michelin star should be.. After close my bill and be charged for 60eur to a 2 hour parking valet that the guy in front dest told clear “six” Not “sixty” and i asked at same time “six ???” And “yes six” so they need someone to speak English better in a Michelin star restaurant inside a 5 star hotel. After this paying my bill i told to the front desk of the hotel where is the restaurant about my experience (after they asked me by themselves) And i heard “we will take it as a suggestion, not as a critic”. Wake up people, this is the worst experience i’ve been in a Michelin star, so this is the heavy critic you can receive. So in the end of the day, the quote I care about as a businessman: “ is better don’t have a unhappy customer then have 10 happy customers “ . I won’t go there again..
Exceptional gastric experience!
This was an exceptional gastric experience with incredible and attentive service. We had a family of four (2 adult children) and my sons had never experienced a Michelin Star meal, we were all simply overwhelmed with delight. We ordered the Tasting Menu, and I took photos of each course. We ordered two bottles of very nice wine and the total was $1200 USD for 4 ($200/person tasting menu). The restaurant is quite small with a view overlooking Positano and it was so beautiful. The chef had the most creative “picnic” and “monopoly” themed desserts that I have ever seen, and the taste was fabulous all across the board!
I really enjoyed this place.
Delicious food beautiful view. Simple and enjoyable. My wife and I stopped here for lunch and dinner multiple times.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Li Galli bistrot Positano to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
