Awesome food, service and ambiance! Beautiful outdoor patio seating area overlooking oncoming trains and Ambler. The inside seating is cozy and inviting.
The waiter was friendly and attentive.
We ordered the Caesar salad, foie gras, and escargot. Caesar salad - really good! Foie gras - good but felt like the sauce was a bit too acidic Escargot - good but nothing special. Have had better For entrees, we ordered the rabbit and filet mign

My husband and I wanted to treat our new pastor to a birthday dinner. He is from Monaco and since he has been state side he has basically only had Italian and wanted a taste of home. We found La Provence in Ambler. I made reservations for 3 for 6:15.

Looking forward to dinner at one of the few French restaurants in the area. Food was average at best. Caesar salad with iceberg lettuce, steak ordered medium and served well done, etc. Service was outstanding, the strength of this restaurant. Ve
Excellent French Restaurant in Ambler
Excellent French Restaurant in Ambler. Located in the tastefully decorated historic Ambler Train Station. We had a wonderful evening. We started with bean soup du jour and Caesar salads that were spot on. We had Quail, Boeuf Bourguignon, and Branz
Decent French cuisine and professional service.
A few items like our duck were a bit overdone.

Our dinner was $200 and we didn't get anything worth that price. Every dish was less than spectacular and had very tiny portions so tiny that it was just one morsel. It's next to railroad tracks where the train comes by often is very noisy

Had a wonderful dinner the other night, our server Kai was outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice, had a view of the gardens. The appetizers we had, the escargot and the peach special were very good, the corvina fish dish was done perfectly. We
Elegant, romantic and phenomenal menu.
Cindy out distances the competition in all of her endeavors.
Service was very slow.
Several items on the menu were not available when we tried to order them. It would have helped if we had been told what was not available before we ordered. I ordered escargots for my appetizer - they were overcooked and slightly salty. Finally we we
Screaming toddler, loud game toy and absentee hostess is NOT fine dining!!!
This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for special occasions and just a special treat. Not any more! We went there on a weeknight to celebrate our son's birthday. We were seated in a room with a toddler who yelled and screamed most of the
Excellent all around.
Service, staff knowledge, attentiveness. Food quality and variety always great. And then dessert!!
The food was wonderful, the service was great.
We had been previously and we will go again. The place is charming although it can be a bit noisy when it is filled or if there is a loud group but it is still well worth a visit.
Very good, portions could be better
We were a party of six on a rainy Wednesday. We had various starters.. onion soup, escargot, croquettes and everyone was pleased with those. For entrees, several people got the corvina and corn and it was good and adequate portions. Others had the

Very disappointed.
Ordered a steak cooked to medium temperature. It arrived almost raw. Once we were able to attract our server's attention, he simply said he would have it cooked further. NO APOLOGY!! My three table companions had finished their meals by the time my
We chose the restaurant for the birthday dinner.
The setting and ambience of the restaurant were very good. Foie gras is highly recommended!
Great menu and amazing service.
BYOB is a plus! You can check out the menu ahead of time and bring the exact bottle(s) of wine you want to pair your food with.
Sub par food seasoned with arrogance.
Bias and hostile management. The dishes that contained meat were inedible akin to a door stop. Their excuse for the lousy meat was that I didn't know how to eat it and we were not "upscale enough clientele" to eat there. Everyone should h

Very disappointing end to an evening that started out great.
Appetizers were outstanding and promptly served. Our entrées orders then seemed to have been forgotten and hastily prepared. Most disheartening was the management reaction. They were argumentative and defensive. A simple apology would have suff

After a poor experience down the street from this restaurant, I was absolutely stunned by the quality in La Provence. I will eat my hat for saying French food outside the city cannot be that great. It was so stellar we went weekend after weekend. We
So So dinner.

Great for date night
Service was excellent and very fast for such a nice restaurant. It’s a BYOB and they have glasses already set for you and they pour your wine right away. Food was very well prepared and cooked perfectly.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to La Provence Ambler at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the La Provence Ambler page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at La Provence Ambler to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at La Provence Ambler!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
