Service was very good and we were able to get a great table
Service was very good and we were able to get a great table with a view of Seattle. However, the food was underwhelming. The appetizer tower was very small for the price and poorly prepared. Ahi poke taco was mostly taco with not much poke to it

The fish was all super fresh tasting and not fishy at all! Both fish n chip meals were crispy and went well with the tartar sauce. The staff was very friendly. Slightly pricey for the portion size but the views of the water and city make up for it. T

Go for Happy Hour
We went for happy hour and to enjoy the beautiful lake views. The seafood brochette was delicious fresh fish shrimp and veggies. Mussels with red curry were also a hit. Restaurant decor is lovely with many interesting indigenous sculptures.

absolutely beautiful atmosphere, full of Native American art and sculpture. A great view. I got the salmon Caesar. The salmon was perfect, the Caesar was swimming in dressing. Not everyone likes that. A good Caesar salad should have a light coating,

We were at Ivar’s for our son’s 32nd birthday with his wife and our daughter and her fiancé. I hadn’t been to the Salmon house since the 1970s. It’s really a tourist destination now and it felt like they were just throwing food at you. Th

Disappointing experience from the service to the food, overpriced, not clean. Not what it used to be.
Not great.
View is amazing and the menu has lots of options. Our server was lovely and my halibut was perfectly cooked. But overall it was not a great experience. The male host was cold and disinterested, and the food was boring and bland, especially for the pr

$30 for three pieces of fish and some fries.
Horrible, you might as well just order from the little shack outside and get it to go. Only stop and eat here if you're absolutely starving on the water clearly they have a monopoly on the lake.

I loved this place! It wasn't too crowded - maybe cause it's pretty large. Has a great patio area to sit by the water and enjoy the views. The mussels were deliciousssss! And we did a taste of the northwest to get a lil bit of everything. N
Beautiful view but food and service not up to par
The menu stated that all salmon was to be cooked “medium “ but mine was well done and dry. The server delivering drinks mixed up my non-alcoholic drink with my daughter’s alcoholic drink.
Worst foods
Worst fish n chips...no fry food aroma or french fries without fry's aroma. The crust were tough......,...,...........m
Superb Fine Dinning...with a view. Don't miss the clam chowder with bacon!

Love the Pacific Northwest Woodsy Theme
Great backup option if Salty's on Alki is booked out. You still have a good view of the Seattle skyline, and Lake Union is beautiful on a sunny summer afternoon (watching all the boats going back and forth is fun too). There's nice outdoor
Good service, nice view, poor meal.
Two friends said this place is great; another called it average. I’m going with below average. I felt the same about Ivar’s on the waterfront in Seattle (September ‘24). The halibut was cooked nicely, but the gooey sweet chili sauce tasted exa
A Lovely Lunch
We went for lunch on the Saturday before Mother's Day. It was my mother, my sister and my husband. We had reservations and were seated at a table by the window. Our server was Jesus. He was wonderful. He was friendly, informative and efficient.

Views and clam chowder
The views and clam chowder are the best things about Ivars. The crab cakes were nicely seasoned and surprisingly the salmon was the least favorite. Would definitely go back again.
