Clap Beirut Restaurant Bayrut Reviews
Nice but they are sneaky
Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Good music. Tasty food HOWEVER, I am a tourist and called though a Lebanese number to make a reservation and they said they were fully booked. 2 minutes later I called through my international number and they were suddenly happy to accommodate us with a table. Moreover, the way the waiters pour drinks and food is unprofessional. They pour them in a way so the last person barely gets anything to push you to order more. Thatβs why they lost 2 starts and hence get a 3/5. Atmosphere 5/5 Food 4/5 Service 2/5

Booked a table in advance. Weβre seated with my husband at the bar., not a table. The food was great, the vibe and the music were great too. Kept ordering food and drinks .. until the waitress came to talk to us.. saying that we stayed too long and thatβs against their policy. We asked for the manager. He said the same β policy β . And that expecting 400 people which never showed))))) Disappointed Beautiful place with bad management
amazing terrace and very attentive waiters,
Wanted to watch the sunset over the sea while on my visit up Beirut. I was invited to Clap roof bar. It is in the roof if Annahar newspaper building. Iy is s as n impressively designed bar, both the indoor seating area as well as the outdoor terrace. There was a DJ and then a live old music band performing. The terrace has a nice view of the sea and the port, as well as the Solidaire buildings . We only had drinks so I canβt judge on the food quality. Prices are expensive , but considering the amazing terrace and the extremely polite and attentive waiters, it is worth the experience.
