Cédric Grolet Singapore Reviews
Worth the visit for a great pastry.
While collecting the signature birthday cake - St. Honoré - we had coffee/tea with an exquisite pastry from an impressive selection of original and unique cakes. The floor staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The modern and minimalistic decor is a
Very good
Tried on 7 Aug 2025 around noon. Had some stuff done in and bought some as take away. I had croissant plain, cappuccino, french toast, hot chocolate drink, kouign Amman as dine in. Also bought dark chocolate cookie , veggies focaccia with buratta, an
Expensive & underwhelming
Great ambience. The sandwiches and desserts for the high tea was at best average. The desserts looked much better that tasted. The desserts were one note - mostly consisted of vanilla cream with different fillings. Service was average for a high end
I was hoping for a good Croissant experience…🫠
I have tried croissants from La Maison d’Isabelle (in Paris) and I was so disappointed when I had my first Cedric Grolet croissant 😑 It turns out I am not the only one (refer to Joshua Weissman’s “I Tried The Best Croissants in The World (it
Pastry heaven
My friend and i were in seventh heaven at this delicious eatery, no waiting . Floor staff were attentive although a little too quick to whip away our plates . We ordered coffee which was good and 3 pastries to share ; a croissant , Flan Gula Melaka,
Take away breakfast
Hi end patisserie, a croissont starts from S$10. We did take away cause if you dine in it will cost around S$80-ish, and we considered that not worth it at all for breakfast. We ordered the plain croissont, if you eat it immediately it is flaky and
Disappointed, bad service, great food.
It wasn’t a great experience, especially for the price we paid. Le maître d’hôtel never said hi to our group of 6. He kept talking to a French lady on our left and to rich customers on our right. And to add to the bad experience, the waitresses
Great croissants, meh everything else
Croissants are by far the best we have ever had. But the rave review ends here. Service: it appears that staff doesn’t get trained consistently and thus doesn’t really know what is on offer. We asked for the available pastries and were blandly t
Posh cute place at the lobby of Como Metropolitan
Cedric Grolet is at the lobby of Como Metropolitan Hotel where we stayed at. Chick, modern, and serves unique cakes. Reservation is recommended to assure you get table since the establishment is not that big. But buying for take-away is always accept
Service was awful.
Overpriced for its ridiculous service. Went twice. First time was decent. 2nd time was today and it was outrageously awful. They don’t have enough Glassware to serve me water! Service was slow. Sat down at 10:40am with my girls already there. Had
Wonderful Pastries And Service
Located within the Como Singapore on the ground floor. I came here for some takeaway and thought it would be busy however when I walked in, it wasn’t busy at all (at least for takeaway) but the tables for dine in seemed taken. It was earlier in the
It’s a No from me
Terribly disappointed, not worth the money. Pastry and service gets the same review. Mayby they can shape up and be like in France…
Good food, bad service
Went in for breakfast. Food was quite good, but pricey. I could tell it was made well. Service was bad. Food was not served at the same time, orders got mixed up etc. Honestly, better to just get take out.
Cedric Gro-Let Down
I visited the Singapore branch recently. I would have imagined that after a couple of months, the service would be befitting for a restaurant of this caliber. However, it was anything but… The first staff who approached us was incredibly blunt. Wh
Over hyped dessert, not worth the price paid
Tried their tea set and found it to be just okay, and it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The taste didn’t match the high price tag, and I left feeling underwhelmed. While it might be a popular spot, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Cederic & Rolet not worth at all
Decided to try out their hazelnut tart to see if it’s worth 26$. My verdict is ‘NO’. It tastes not bad but definitely not at 26$ price. There are more better tarts at more reasonable price. Also, one minus point is that staff is not able to ex
Long queue, overpriced and horrific attitude
Singaporeans love standing in line for new stuff, so the queue is frustratingly long. What makes it worse is snobbish staff with a bad attitude, treating customers without respect. But Singaporeans are not stupid, and they have a memory. Overpriced,

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Cédric Grolet Singapore at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Cédric Grolet Singapore page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
    1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* GallantAnswer60, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* GallantAnswer60 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to GallantAnswer60 for any questions Peter may have as GallantAnswer60 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* GallantAnswer60 now uses their connections at Cédric Grolet Singapore to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If GallantAnswer60 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, GallantAnswer60 receives the $200 reward which is credited to GallantAnswer60's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Cédric Grolet Singapore!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
