Not the best experience
All i can say is bedlam….the staff were disorganised, couldn’t bring more than one drink at a time to the table, would have made more sense to use a tray…. The meal i had was tasteless, no flavour at all…. The dessert was full of flavour and refreshing. I tried the tiramisu, it was just cream….
Nice dinner
Came for a quick dinner after racing. They managed to fit us in with no booking and wow were we lucky because they were jam packed! Had a burrata and Parma ham starter and then the saltimboca, definitely recommend those two! My friends and family loved their dishes aswell. The service was good considering how busy they were. Definitely will come back
Unfortunately gone down hill
Asked for a quiet table as one of our party struggles to hear conversations if there is a lot of background noise. Unfortunately this was not really accommodated and we had to ask for the music they were playing through the sound system to be turned down. Having visited twice before and had excellent service and food our expectations were high but sadly on this occasion not met. Two people ordered pizza with chicken and ham but when they arrived they were covered in peppers; peppers were not mentioned in the description on the menu and if they had of been then they would not have been ordered. We mentioned this to our waiter and he said he would talk to the chef but in the meantime brought 2 side plates to put the peppers on suggesting they were just picked off! He did not offer to get the pizzas redone. However one person couldn’t really eat or enjoy the pizza as the peppers had tainted the other toppings and therefore left most of it uneaten. When the waiter eventually returned to clear our plates he asked if everything had been ok!! Obviously not so only then did he offer for a pizza without the peppers to be made for us to take home. As this was not our error it would have been a nice gesture to have removed the charge for that pizza from our bill but this did not happen. Service was very very slow and so after the fiasco with the main course we couldn’t be bothered to wait for a dessert. Sorry but this was an awful dining experience and unfortunately it will be a while before we return. Hope you can improve your customer service and chef can produce what is on the menu and not add ingredients that potentially may cause allergic reactions !!
Bad Experience
Very disappointing, ordered Ribeye steak and when it arrived it was so fatty and not good atall, I know Ribeye can be fatty but not like this, that’s fine it happens but the manager was unbelievable, server called him over, picked up the meat and started to pull it apart at table saying he’s never had a complaint in 3 years and it was fine 🤬, I didn’t order it to not eat it, I barely had 2 bites! The waiter did remove from the bill but the managers attitude and way he handled was awful! Def won’t be back and it’s not how it has been last few times!
Friday dinner with friends
Four of us went here for dinner this evening having booked a table. There were several large groups in do it was busy. We asked for a table in a quieter area and this was complied with. We ordered drinks and my wife asked for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon which is what she always drinks. She was served a glass of white wine and the waitress was somewhat taken aback when my wife questioned this. She didn’t offer to change it. There was no GF bread so my wife was unable to have a starter. My prawn cocktail was good and my lasagne very good. My tomato and onion salad at £5.95 was an expensive side for one tomato and a few rings of onion. Because of the noise we declined desserts and coffees. I’d go back for the lasagna but only at lunchtime.
Disappointed
5th time coming to celebrate our anniversary... Gentlemen at the bar that usually makes our drinks was not on shift today. Food was the worst it's been out of the 5 yrs we have been going. Felt sick after finding hair in the food but didn't have the heart to tell the waiter. Staff member who served us was lovely he was new but very kind If going to eat in the area I would definitely opt for El Guaca.

Absolutely lovely venue, atmosphere and service. The food was excellent, I would love to see gluten free pizza on the menu. I would definitely recommend Unico and go again.
Mothers Day Lunch
Went out as essentially family of 5 adults. First time visiting. Beautiful decor and nice ambient lighting. Service as great and food was of good quality with desserts being my favorite. We frequent mangiare often but slightly different menu which is good for choice. Only tiny recommendation to the restaurant would be to maybe add a plain chicken dish to the menu for the picky eaters or perhaps a burger of some sort as it would encourage my some in our party back more frequent, me on the other hand will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for an enjoyable meal and great visit.
Ok, nothing wrong but nothing to draw us back
We were recommended a visit her. We live in Bury St Edmunds Overall the visit was ok. There was nothing wrong with the food or visit but also nothing to want to make us return We were eventually received and shown to the room on the eft and offered a couple of table to sit at. The room was cold so I asked to be moved or the heating turned on. The heating was via 2 air conditioners, it warmed a little but not as warm as the room on the right when you enter. It was also evident throughout the visit you were treated more preferably if you have been before and known by the management Starters we had duck and pork pate and mushroom arancini. The pate was rather bland and smooth and could have been from a supermarket, again not unpleasant but nothing special. The arancini was very tasty Onto mains we had lasagne and spicy beef linguini. The lasagne was nice but a tad too much tomato based sauce. The linguini was also ok but the beef tough on a number of pieces We didn't find this any different to other pizza chains, nothing unique. It is a very large restaurant that lacks character. The service is what I describe as perfunctory and lacking any interest or warmth with orders taken, food delivered, plates collected and not much else other than that
Birthday surprise charge
Been here several times even with more than this time 7 of us we ordered are and had a lovely evening with my wife and family, once the bill arrived I notice addition 10% which I thought was gratuity. When I questioned this they said it was due to you having a party of 7! I immediately questioned this so the waiter called the manager/owner over… I asked how come you have added this 10% she told me the table size I explained we had previously been here last September on a round table with 8 and never charged, she said because we had to push the tables together…. At this point i was thinking ok… then suggested if we had two tables split the people over the two would we be charged? She said no hence my response was ok so remove the charge… She removed this I’m feeling in two minds whether I should return.. Rose and Mango next for me that has a full 5 stars with 100% positive feedback.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
