The Ivy Canary Wharf London Reviews from The Last Year
Ask for Jack!
Gorgeous ambience, amazing food and impressive cocktails! Special shout out to the Irish Chap, Jack - he made our evening out an experience to remember. You have a real gem in that young man. Highly recommend the visit and ask for Jack if you get an opportunity to go to the Ivy in Canary Warf!
Quick lunch and drinks
Loved the location and atmosphere. Drinks were amazing as well as the food! Would highly recommend The Ivy if you find yourself in the Canary Warf area.
Impeccable environment!
Amazing, warm, environment!!! Especially the bartender Jack S! 10/10 recommended to any locals or people visiting!!
If you love Aesthetic Restaurants, great food and cocktails you will love it here!
I visited the Ivy In the Park for a belated birthday dinner with my best friend and had a wonderful experience. Staff were attentive, accommodating and our server was quite the character never ceasing a moment to make us laugh! Reception team were very happy to accommodate our request for booth seating and were very welcoming and friendly. The food was 10/10 and the cocktails we had ordered were just to our taste! The server did not hesitate to recommend us new cocktails to try which we throughly enjoyed! To add to the experience there was a DJ which to our shock was playing RnB which is right up our alley! So great if you’re here on a date or dinner with the girls! The decor of the restaurant is captivating and magical. Thank you to all at The Ivy Canary Wharf , would definitely recommend to family and friends and return.
We decided on Ivy In The Park as we were checking out
We decided on Ivy In The Park as we were checking out restaurants in the area. We waited at the entrance & there was a lady & gentleman behind the bar, not alerting anyone that we had been waiting. We had to find someone ourselves. Finally, a gentleman came out to seat us. Everything went smoothly after that. The boys both ordered Bacon Cheeseburgers & we didn't realize the burgers were not real meat until they stopped eating them....that was our fault for sure. The Onion Soup had zero flavour. The Shepherds Pie was good, but the Fish & Chips was just okay.
The Ivy Canary Wharfe
We went for dinner on the Friday evening and breakfast the following morning. The food and atmosphere were amazing as usual. The service was painfully slow
Amazing Dining Experience
I visited the Ivy on the 7th July and absolutely fell in love with the place. The food was excellent (especially the fish and chips) the drinks were very tasty and above all the service was excellent. The reception team were very helpful and accommodating so shout out to that team!!
Excellent service from Darryl ! Great food and drinks . The atmosphere was very good definitely we will visit again 👍

Recommend!
Organised a business dinner for 17 people yesterday, event team was very responsive and flexible! AV was working fine and we got great assistance from the team onsite as well. adaptations to people's dietary restrictions. Very happy with the event, thanks to Dani and the team!
I-vy never going back for a roast.
If you love a roast, avoid The Ivy. Priced at £27.95 I would expect premium produce. This was one of the worst roasts I’ve had. The beef was a cheap steak, the potatoes were clearly cooked from frozen and I’d even go as far to say purchased from the frozen aisle of a supermarket. The selection of veg was limited, it consisted of swede mash and green beans. The gravy was weak and watery. The only part of the roast which was enjoyable was the yorkshire pudding. The service didn’t save the experience, none of the waiters asked how the food was, I presume they knew what the response would be a negative one. Overall roast rating 2/10
Great business dinner experience
We worked with Ivy on a ~20-person dinner. They were extremely thorough and although we had some minor miscommunications, they were very accommodating and ultimately ensured we had a great time. We worked with Daniel ahead of time and Carlos and his team during the dinner, and both were fantastic. The food and beverages were also quite good; we particularly liked that they had a lot of non-alcoholic options.
Great place to be!
I had a wonderful lunch experience at The Ivy Canary Wharf! The ambiance is sophisticated and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a midday meal. Our server, Peter, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. Peter's attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and expert recommendations truly made our lunch special. The food was delicious, and Peter's service made it even better. Thank you, Peter, for making our visit so memorable. We'll definitely be back!
Clearly trading of the real Ivy name and please teach you’re waiting staff wine etiquette
My girlfriend dined at your restaurant last night with several friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The waitress assumed four people wanted wine and started to pour four full glasses without even asking who was having wine. She did not even ask if anyone wanted to first taste before pouring. The food took ages and meals came out at different times. Very very poor experience, should have gone to ROKA.

Had the most amazing experience for my guests at Canary Wharf Ivy restaurant, Our private hosts, Ana and Daniel provided a first class dining service for my guests. Nothing was too much trouble. Attentive, professional and a joy to have with us. Great booking and planning service from Daniel in the main office also. Faultless. Look forward to placing many more events with you.
Fabulous service, food and value
Fabulous, place was brilliant, with great service and portions were plentiful. The Ivy Chocolate bomb was to amazing and to die for Pleasantly surprized as it was not expensive as i expected , would love to go back
Corporate Dinner
I am writing to express my deepest thanks to Daniel Ramirez and the friendly staff at the Ivy in the Park, Canary Wharf. Daniel was assigned as my Event Planner for our Executive Dinner, for 25 guests, on 8th May 2024. It was a very pleasurable experience from the start; from the initial viewing, through to fruition. Across the board; the staff were very gracious with their time and ensured all my queries and requests were fulfilled. I selected a dining area on the upper level of the Restaurant; opting for a long dining table arrangement and incorporated the adjacent balcony, which proved the perfect locale for our alfresco Champagne Reception; everything transpired as planned. Our Host, Carlo and his team were very attentive and the ambience and cuisine were enthusiastically received and highly appreciated by our guests. The evening proved enjoyable for the entire group. I will definitely use this service again and am happy to recommend The Ivy, Carnary Wharf as a venue for corporate events. [Additional thanks to ‘Kinga’, Liane, Carlo, Ada, Jenney Kraja, and the waiting staff]
First time visit, won't be the last
I have walked past this restaurant many times but today was the first time actually visiting. I took my mother and my son to meet up for lunch and everyone enjoyed their food. In fact my son, a picky toddler, cleaned his plate - so a 5 star review from him! However, I tried a bit of his fish and found it to be mostly batter and not all that great. My mother and I both chose from the set menu which, at under £20, is very good value. We had the bang bang chicken skewers to start which were a-ma-zing! Definitely a strong recommend for those. The shepherds pie for the main was slightly smaller than I was expecting but was absolutely delicious. Adding to all this was the service from Darryl, who could not have been any more helpful and cheerful.
Very disappointed with the Ivy.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. I ate out with my partner at the Ivy, Canary Wharf at 1PM on Saturday 25 May. The service was good. However, dear oh dear, the food was very poor. We both ordered fish and chips. To say the food was a disappointment and not what we expected of the Ivy (we have both frequented different Ivy in the Home Counties area) would be an understatement. The fish would only just avoid the trades description act. It was almost all batter and this was clearly overcooked and stale. The chips were not much better and appeared and tasted as if they had been "sitting around" for some time. Since this was my partners first visit to Canary Wharf I decided not to spoil the event and make a fuss. I hope this does not portend a decline in standards at the IVY chain. This incident has not put me off completely of going to the Ivy restaurants, so I will no doubt find out for myself in the near future.
Great business lunch
A great venue, attentive service and really great food. miso steak awesome. Venue was busy but surprisingly noise levels were good ie conversations possible without raising voices.
Not the best.
Lovely looking restaurant, good ambiance. What lets it down is the menu, they put a few new “seasonal “ dishes on, other than that it’s the same choice. If you’ve been a few times the choice is pretty boring. 4 of us had the burger, adding bacon and cheese bumps the price up considerably. Which is fine if it was nice, unfortunately it wasn’t. It was really difficult to eat, if you tried to cut it in half, the filling went everywhere. The most disappointing thing, that we all agreed on, was the burger itself, totally tasteless. My niece didn’t think much of her cottage pie either We all wished we’d chosen something else. Six of us went for my mother’s birthday, the staff were good, even presented my mum with a choux bun with a candle. Having been to nearly every one of the Ivy Brasseries in and around London. We all agreed, it would be a long time until we went back If you’re going for the first/ second, even third time, it’s great. Then it starts to get really monotonous Oh and the £43 service charge. Was quite a shock too
What an experience
I was so impressed with this great restaurant. From arriving to leaving,, it was a great experience. Apart from the the excellent food and ambiance , it was the staff that really made the day very special. A friend and I went there to celebrate our birthdays and it was made so special. A HUGH thanks to Anna and Darryl. Will for sure be returning.
Perfect family celebration lunch!
Excellent family celebration - thank you! All the staff but especially Brigetta went the extra mile to make the afternoon a huge success. We will be back soon! Kevin and Richard
Unique restaurant
Good food and atmosphere. Drinks were creative and delicious. Service was attentive. Food wasn’t unique but loved the restaurant decoration.
Amazing Saturday lunch
From the moment we arrived at The Ivy Canary Wharf, we were met with exceptional hospitality. The reception team was incredibly welcoming and promptly guided us to a fantastic table. When we requested to move to the terrace, they swiftly accommodated our request with a smile. The managers greeted us warmly and made us feel truly special. A special thank you to Carla for coming to our table and making us feel so welcome and comfortable, even though she wasn’t serving us directly. The highlight of our visit, however, was the impeccable service provided by Nephthalie, Alfie, and Brigitta. They were absolutely amazing, attentive, and made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team at The Ivy Canary Wharf for a wonderful evening. We can’t wait to return!
Quality service and outstanding help from the team
A big thank you to the team - Events Manager Daniel, stuff on-site Luca and all the waiters/waitresses last May 15th. They were very professional and welcoming. We will be back soon!
Corporate lunch at the Ivy Canary Wharf
I had a group of clients dining at the Ivy Canary Wharf in May 2024 and we hired the 1st floor restaurant exclusively for their business lunch. The sun was shining, the service was flowing and the staff were just amazing. I have worked with many restaurants booking corporate lunches and dinners over the last years and I have to say that working with the Ivy Canary Wharf was just so pleasant. The event staff went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute requests and the restaurant staff worked very efficiently on the day to deliver a fantastic service. The client was very happy with their dining experience at the restaurant and I would definitely be recommending this restaurant to my clients in the future. My huge thanks go to Bastien, Daniel, Ada, Kinga and all their onsite staff. THANK YOU!
SCONES, CREAM AND MARMALADE!
I went along with three friends for a Cream Tea, which they offer rather than the more elaborate Afternoon Tea. We ordered our Teas. I asked for Decaffeinated Tea and was told they don’t offer it. I could have Decaffeinated Coffee - with my scones?!!! But that was all, so I settled for that. It took a while for our Teas to arrive. My friend took one look at the small dishes of preserve on the mini cake stands and said “that’s marmalade” and indeed it was!!!!!! We sent it straight back and asked for jam. The waiter seemed rather confused as to why we were sending it back and we tried hard to explain that Cream Tea is served with jam not marmalade. We didn’t want the whole thing replaced, just swap the small dishes of marmalade for jam. Off he went and returned with the jam but said he had to replace the scones too?! So we waited. I meanwhile tried my Decaffeinated Coffee. It was horrible. Over strong and unpleasantly bitter ( and I love good, strong decaf coffee!). I stuck to water. After a good while, nothing else arrived, so we began eating our scones with the second attempt at a preserve - apricot jam. My friends asked for more tea. I stuck with water! As we neared the end of our scones, the waiter arrived with replacement mini cake stands - scones, cream and preserve and placed them on the table. He said if we didn’t want all of them, we could take what was left home. We all looked at the newly arrived preserve. Yes, it was the return of the marmalade! We called him back. He was still baffled as to why we didn’t want it, but did bring more apricot jam. Eventually, we gave up and asked to take the scones home. Without us asking, The Ivy did only charge us for one cream tea each and also removed the service charge, which we thought was very fair. Again ( this is my second review of this establishment) pleasant food (ignoring the marmalade debacle!) was spoiled by very poor service! There is a marked lack of understanding of what is required and it is replaced by a superior attitude that doesn’t impress, particularly in a restaurant of this standard. If you like marmalade on your scones though, this is the spot for you!
Awful won’t be returning
We have been to the Ivy many times before but tonight was terrible. We had to wait 25 minutes for our drinks and by the time drinks came the food was here. The waiter was rude to myself a few times and the overall service was awful. We won’t be returning again.
Same service warm/ cold food
Went here for dinner on a gift voucher from a friend First impressions was put in a corner and forgotten about after 15 mins had to ask for a drink Then ordered some bread which was the only nicest part as it was hot our main course came while we were still eaten the bread no drinks had to ask again finally came and throw on the table no service then we had no cutlery which told about 5 mins by now different staff each time Food was only warm the burger bun was stale Mexican chicken was warm think both had been left out We’re we were sitting in conservatory part wad freezing there was a big birthday dinner so that took preference from anyone else Over rated and disappointed food
Nice meal. Service could be more friendlier!
Lovely branch. Usual menu from steaks to salads and more. I was dining with a friend. We shared the Zucchini Fritti alongside our main meal. I had the Blackened Cod Fillet Baked on a banana leaf with soy marinade, served with citrus-pickled fennel, broccoli, yuzu and herb sauce. Delicious. Light but simple and tasty. Food was well presented and freshly made. Really nice. Service was good. Pleasant and attentive but could be friendlier. I do tend to find at most Ivy branches as another reviewer has commented, to be snobbish which I hate. Almost like a robot. Service needs to be more personal and genuinely friendly. Another thing was that we hadn't booked a table. The inside was full so we were seated outside on a chilly evening. The heaters however were totally useless and we were freezing. They need to have better outdoor heaters.
Excellent lunch! Thanks Sam for great service!!
Excellent weekday lunch in a lovely atmosphere. The service was exceptional. Special thanks to Sam for being such fun and for the super attentive service! We very much look forward to returning with the family on Sunday 5th May. Thanks also to Donna for helping us with the arrangements for the family celebration! See you soon! Kevin and Richard
Snobbish waiter
When the waiter found that I would order the main dish and the sparkling water only, he gave me the cold shoulder instantly
Excellent
After an awful visit to a different Ivy this more than made up for it. From the moment we walked in , greeted by smiles, shown to our table and the service was excellent. Our food arrived beautifully presented and hot! The fish cake was so tasty and the egg cooked to perfection. The eggs royal were also cooked to perfection and the Chicken Milanese was delicious. Thank you for the extra detail of my daughter’s birthday desert too.
We dropped by with no reservation on a Friday evening at
We dropped by with no reservation on a Friday evening at around 8:30pm. We were seated inside right away and our service was quick to greet us as well. We ordered salads to start, and the Shepard's pie and Mexican chicken as our mains. Everything was lovely, elegant, and fancy. We enjoyed a little birthday dessert as well. The Shepard's pie was made with beef and lamb. It had incredible flavors and a hint of rosemary. It was delicious and I savored every bite.
Good service
Good food , good service by Ana she was amazing and respectful. Our food was tasty and came well presented . The drinks was amazing as well
go in hungry and you might leave hungry.
it's ok. I found little to love about this Ivy, or indeed, little to complain about. it's pretty efficient, it's colourful. Don't expect a cracking lunch -the portions are small and i expect, weighed to the gram. It's almost parsimony. But then, portion size should not be a concern when its the Ivy. No, Ivy, dear, it still matters. Your cachet stretches only so far.
Amazing Dinner!
I had an incredible birthday celebration at Ivy recently! The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion, and the service was outstanding. Plus, the chicken skewers and duck liver parfait were absolutely delicious. As if that wasn't enough, the surprise celebration box for my friend made the experience even more memorable. Ivy truly knows how to make any celebration unforgettable!
Wine served in a beer glass and only 1 bottle in stock. Very Poor Show
We were disappointed we ordered a lovely bottle of wine which was served in a glass that was not a wine glass. I asked if we could have proper wine glass the waiter said that those glasses are only served with certain wines I was shocked and never heard of such a thing so you only have wine glasses if its an expensive wine. We had our starters which, was very nice. The waiter said would you like another bottle of wine we said yes, he came back and said we don't have anymore of your wine. We said that strange who is doing your ordering. We don't like to change the grape. The waiter them Brought the manger who came across very apologetic. He recommend two other wines we asked to taste which he obliged but the palette change just didn't work. We declined and said we would just have a drink. one of my friends said I will have a glass of a French white wine, she was told sorry we haven't this wine in stock.we all stated to gentle laugh thinking is this a prank. The manger was very apologetic . He said to my friend I will give you a lovely wine on the house which came in a proper wine glass and was very nice, so I assume that's an expensive wine. My recommendation to The Ivy you need to sort out your stock taking with the computer if it shows you have this wine and you don't have anymore in stock you need to improve on your orders and updates to the system. We were left speechless, You really need to accommodate your customers.
The Ivy has gone down hill and is overrated
Overrated, The Ivy used to be good but it’s definitely gone done hill over the years. I paid an extortionate amount for steak, chips and peppercorn sauce. The steak doesn’t come with any of these and you have to pay extra for it. The steak I had a bills was miles better so much more flavour and at a much cheaper price. Chips had no taste.. and all they have to accompany the chips is table salt. A restaurant of this level should have crystallised salt as a minimum. The desert was lovely - chocolate bombe, no complaints there.
The Ivy is beautiful.
The interior is stunning and warm with lively feeling. The only issue is the food. The pancakes were particularly terrible... really disappointing as it takes say from the beauty of the place. Note: the service very depends on your server... ours have a lot of attitude but others seemed very good.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
