Terra Plata Seattle Reviews from The Last Year
The service was great.
I do t think my water glass ever got half empty. Its kind of a tapas style place. We order three sides and two proteins for 3. The flank steak was amazing. Brussel sprouts were delicious and we had the pea risotto that went fast. Make sure to leave room for the churros.
Came here with coworkers during a work conference recently.
They said it's best ordered family style so we got the beets, the brussel sprouts, the game hen and the olives. I am not a huge beets person but I gave them a try. They were golden beets and had a nice flavor. Others at the table who like beets said they were some of the best. I'm also not a huge Brussels sprout person but these were delicious and I really enjoyed them. The game hen was perfect to share and nothing beets warm olives! All were great and I will be back next time I am in town!
As always it was quite busy.
We did feel rather rushed. We ordered appetizers and paella. The paella was served first then they brought the appetizers. We would have preferred to have appetizers first so we could enjoy them instead of throwing it all together on the table (not to mention how crowded the table was with all those plates). The paella was good but not great. A great paella has a nice crispy crust all around the outside of the pan. This had no crust on it. Disappointing since the only reason we went here was for the paella. Would I go back to terra plata? Probably but I would specify please bring appetizers first and give us some time to enjoy them. Would I order paella again? No.
Fantastic spot! Friend and I went for a late night dinner.
Cute atmosphere that lends well to larger groups and more intimate settings. We opted to share plates - not sure if exactly designed in that way - but the potato chips were tasty with the truffle flavoring. The crudo was tasty, despite the coloring of the tuna. It made me slightly nervous but my friend thought it was delicious! We then did the baby gem salad that was light and refreshing! The star of the meal was definitely the lamb rib-lets with the lebnah (?). It was so flavorful that I was literally sucking the bones. We ended the meal with churros - hot out of the fryer! The food was flavorful and filling. What I appreciated was that it was a wonderful meal, but didn't feel overstuffed. I would highly recommend for a great meal, beautiful ambiance, and a great ending to your stay in Seattle.

With how expensive dining out has gotten in Seattle, I am often left feeling like the food or the service was not worth the money spent after a dining experience. This was definitely not the case at Terra Plata! I didn't catch our server's name but he was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the food and the wine. When our wine got low he brought tastes of other wines he thought we would enjoy based on our food pairing and the wine we ordered last. In addition to the stellar service the food was also delicious.

This was completely amazing, one of the best meals I've had in years. Atmosphere and staff are top notch too. Will go back at time I'm back in the area.

The ambience was amazing and we were seated on the upper deck, the open area. The service was good and the food arrived on time. We ordered the Roasted Bone Marrow which was pretty good, a 4/5; next we ordered the slow roasted beetroot which felt like boiled and chopped pieces of beetroot with a sprinkle of feta and green olives. This didn't feel anything out of ordinary though it tasted good, 2.5/5; Next we ordered the Roasted Hen which was again beautifully done with a dates glaze on the side along with some millets, a 4/5. Overall a good experience, a 3.5/5, for a romantic evening!
Good vibe and ambience.
Food was decent too. Would recommend to visitors. Not very accommodating to vegans despite what their website says.

I came here for my birthday dinner and everything from the service, food, and ambience was amazing! Such a lovely vibe to the restaurant, our server was especially so kind and always had the time to check in and chat with us! The food was 10/10, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere nice to go where you can get dolled up and enjoy some yummy food!
This has consistently been one of my family's favorite
This has consistently been one of my family's favorite restaurants. Selections change often, so there is always something new to choose. We sat on the rooftop on our last visit. I thought it would be cold, but there is plenty of heat and the city view is lovely. I had halibut and it was so fresh and cooked so perfectly that I don't think I've ever had fish at a restaurant that was so delicious. The burgers are filled with herbs. The olives are amazing. We've had so many delightful dishes here I can't mention them all. But this is definitely a go to for our family for special occasions.
Delicious food and good atmosphere!
Very cool spot. We went in August and there is no air conditioning inside. It was extremely hot, but we sat upstairs on the patio outside and it was a little better. Service was great. Loved the food, except for the salmon. It was cooked almost medium rare, which it how it was supposed to be, but just not used to that when ordering salmon. Would have preferred it well done. Was disappointed one of the cocktails we wanted was sold out, but the others we tried instead were great. It is very pricey, but overall worth it for a special occasion. Recommend reservations as they were extremely busy.
Very disappointing
We were terribly excited to go here and looking forward to authentic Spanish tapas. This was nothing as expected. Food was sub par, everything soaked in oil and salt, but not Spanish tapas. Our table was next to the washroom in a space that was not inviting. The plates are stacked at floor level (inspectors???).
good food, challenged reservation system
nice interior and good food. waitstaff good but not clear on explaining some of the more complex dishes. check-in staff had serious issues with running upstairs to check on tables everytime someone came in with a reservation. complete bottleneck that would have simply been solved by reserving specific tables during reservation process and adding an additional person at front of house. food was good but a bit overcomplicated and underwhelming.
Great food and atmosphere
The chef and team provided a fantastic meal and great service for a business gathering. They were thoughtful about dietary restrictions and the menu was creative. Queer friendly and great atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
