I had a fantastic experience when I came with my fiance to have a belated Valentine's celebration. The waiters were very attentive as they refilled drinks quickly and folded the napkins if we stepped away to go to the bathroom. The decorations and glassware were all very unique. The food was really good but the cost is very expensive (including a mandatory gratuity charge) so this is definitely something that I'd only get for a very special occasion. It can be a little hard to find the entrance as it's tucked away. They don't have a dedicated parking lot but we were able to find street parking on a Saturday night.

Food was very good but I was actually more enamored with all of their plates and cups. Everything was beautiful and unique and seemed very expensive. I love that they're glass cups are all different colors and each course came on a different beautiful plate. The food was fresh and delicious and flavorful, I left feeling very full and satiated. It was fun watching the sushi chef put everything together and timing each course well. However, the price is pretty exorbitant even for high end sushi prices. They charge like a 3 Michelin starred restaurant. This is definitely a place you come for very special occasions.

Good sushi (not outstanding for the price) but drinks are unreasonably overpriced. Having some options that are reasonably priced would have made the experience much better.
The restaurant setup and interior design is one of the best
The restaurant setup and interior design is one of the best I have ever been to. Lots of designs in the setup and even in all the utensils used. However the food is not up to expectation. Paying $350 per person, I was expecting something more than this. Caviar and wagyu are with high quality but the whole meal is just not satisfying enough. The amount of uni get is one of the smallest portion I have seen in high end omakase. The dessert even uses Godiva chocolate instead of house made one. The sushi is good but the portion size is not enough.
Yesterday was our first time to dine there.
The service was top notch. The food was amazing and the restaurant was so pretty. Overall, this is o awesome to have this high quality Japanese restaurant in the peninsula area. We were seating at sushi counter. The chef was from Osaka. His nigini pieces was so great and beautiful! All of dishes were so tasty and fresh. this Omakase also has some hot dishes from kitchen too. Our chef even gave my son a bigger size of nigiri which made my son so happy. We will definitely comeback for sure.
Food was really good, but I have shared my food allergy
Food was really good, but I have shared my food allergy with the restaurant at the time of the reservation and as we entered the restaurant, but the chef has still included the item I was allergic to on my plate before his was going to serve. I spotted it and reminded him that I had the allergy, going forward he was just taking this item out without substituting with anything else (I have this allergy for a while now and this is the ONLY place that didn't make the substitution). He did start to substitute when I explicitly pointed that it wasn't quite fair. Apparently, he also continued to use the same tools to serve my sushi as I came home and gotten very sick (as I usually do when I am exposed to a given food) and was sick for 5 days due to the food cross-contamination! If you have ANY food allergies - beware! In addition, we brought a bottle of sake that we wanted to pay a corking fee for and this sake was special to us for the occasion we went to the restaurant for. They refused to open our sake saying that their policy doesn't allow for brining your own bottle. Seriously?! We brought a bottle of IWA5 that retails for about $190 - on their menu it was for over $900!..This is very draconian for this caliber of establishment. Ye,s the food was very good, but the overall experience made us decide to never come back.
This is our second time at Hiroshi and we love their dishes
This is our second time at Hiroshi and we love their dishes so much! Chefs are paying so much attention to all detailed of flavors of the food and even the seasoning sauce. The top quality of their ingredients surprise us so much that you would think you are in Japan at the moment eating the local delicacy. We get to come back for future celebrations soon!
This is the best sushi in the area.
I personally think that it is as good as the best sushi restraint in Japan. The service is also excellent and we have 4 to 5 people serving us. The ambiance is also the best in the area. I highly recommend this place.

It's certainly quite good and the service and decor are noticeably great. But Hiroshi remains priced above some similar experiences and it makes it a bit of a tricky value proposition. But I guess fine dining is inherently not a value proposition. I particularly liked this sort of wagyu nigiri designed to be a tiny fancy bowl of gyudon. It really did a great job of evoke that pretty typical dish and making it feel special.

A bit of a hidden gem, this cozy fine Omakase place is located in Los Altos downtown. Chef Tetsu and chef Masa greeted me and the GM Kevin-san pour me house sake gently. All the fresh fishes are incredible and dishes in the beautiful plates make me feel very special for the day. :) Small bites, each dish I go one by one, chef asked me if I'm getting full, I said 'yes' so he made me rest of nigiris with smaller portioned rice which is very thoughful. It was enjoyable to hear about the seasonal fishes from all different oceans of Japan, Takamori Wagyu nigiri is another experience of Zeitaku (θ΄ ζ²’) fine dining. I have been eating other A5 wagyu dishes but Takamori is not everywhere. They also have very special rare bottles of Sake that is extremely pricey but worth to drop. Great job Chef Tetsu and Chef Masa and team! θΏγγγ‘γ«γΎγζ₯γΎγγI will definetely be coming back for more with my best friends.
