Harp & Crown Philadelphia Reviews from The Last Year
Great spot with good service and food.
The place is beautiful and has a bowling alley downstairs. They can accommodate small or large groups. Also great to share dishes family style.
Hmm, where do I even start? We had reservations for a party
Hmm, where do I even start? We had reservations for a party of 5 after the Philadelphia Flower Show. We knew it would be busy on a Saturday night, but between the rain and the traffic, it was crazy. When we got to the restaurant, they asked us to wait for our table which we knew was in the Garden Room. Quite sadly, the people at our table wouldn't leave (we watched the servers do everything they could up to collecting their napkins). Unfortunately, the group just lingered, and one of the servers said they had been there almost 2 1/2 hours. We ended up being seated at a table in the bar area. The noise from the bar was so loud it was almost comical with an obnoxious group of 20-something dudes slapping each other on the back and practically yelling. The food was just okay and wasn't enough to make up for the noise level and the lack of the table we had reserved. Because we had two young adults and a grandmother, we were just drinking water. However, the servers told us they were not allowed to leave a carafe of water on our table when we kept running out. We will not be back.
My go to spot.
Every time I've been in here it's just a great experience. Attentive friendly staff, really tasty cocktails, good atmosphere and excellent food. Well done.
Delicious food and drinks and an amazing happy hour menu.
The pizza was incredible and only $7 for happy hour. The ambiance is nice, very dark and cool. Good service too!
They let people at the bar crowed around tables.
I was sitting at a table and someone at the bar elbowed me in eye and the guy straight up told me not to make a bigger deal then what it was.
Very good! The space inside was much larger than expected
Very good! The space inside was much larger than expected and although we had a reservation, it took us about 10 minutes to get seated. Ideally, I think we would have all liked to try the chef's tasting menu but that required everyone at the table to agree on the same 8 dishes, which would have been fine if they were accommodating of a separate vegetarian order (which they were not). However, the food was still quite tasty! I really liked the Crispy Brussels app, Burrata small plate, and Fig & Ricotta toast. While there were plenty of vegetarian options, I only tried a couple - would def go back to try more. The Cockscomb Mac & Cheese was good but nothing to brag about - I like my mac extra saucy and cheesy, and this one was a bit dry. However, we ended the meal with full stomachs and loved the restaurant's special ambiance. Would come again for a date night or ladies' night to try new items!
Good drinks and food during happy hour
If you plan on eating there make sure to get reservations as the bar can quickly fill up. They have 3 drink options to choose from during happy hour and a few apps that are decent. The normal menu is also good, with pizzas and apps. The food priced are a little high so if you have time I suggesting eating elsewhere first as this place feels more of a bar rather than a restaurant.
Absolutely amazing place - must go when in Philly! Went to
Absolutely amazing place - must go when in Philly! Went to the brunch buffet and couldn't recommend it enough. Highly suggest getting the tomato pie and making chicken and waffles (don't forget the gravy). Great environment - loved the decor!
What here on a random Saturday, and was able to get a seat
What here on a random Saturday, and was able to get a seat right away! Which is definitely rare. Would recommend making reservations ahead of time. If you want to sit down for dinner. The service was great and the vibes are really fun! The one thing that I would say is that the bathrooms weren't the cleanest when we went, but they had a pretty full bar and it seems like people were pretty toasted when we got there.
Following some research on Yelp, I opted to make
Following some research on Yelp, I opted to make reservations at Harp & Crown for a business dinner with a party of eight. The decision turned out to be an absolute win for our group, resulting in a memorable and delightful evening. Upon arrival, we were pleased to discover that we had secured a prime table situated in the heart of the restaurant. Harp & Crown boasts an inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The place exudes a certain charm and elegance, making it a visually stunning venue. While the restaurant may not be prominently labeled on the outside, its hidden gem status on a side street only added to the excitement of our discovery. Our waitress, a shining star in service, proved to be exceptionally attentive throughout the evening. We opted for a tapas-style dining approach, allowing each member of our group to sample a diverse array of dishes. The decision to share two items per person and pass the plates around the table was a brilliant move, enhancing the communal and social aspect of our dining experience. Each bite was a flavor revelation, and I found myself enamored with every dish. The food was not only delectable but also showcased a culinary prowess that exceeded our expectations. The overall ambiance of Harp & Crown, combined with the impeccable service, created a dining atmosphere that left a lasting positive impression on our entire group. From the aesthetically pleasing decor to the delectable food offerings, every aspect of our experience at Harp & Crown contributed to a truly enjoyable evening. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience in Philly.

Nicole was our server on a really busy Saturday night and there was about 8 of us and she was beyond sweet and accommodating. The food was amazing as well as the drinks, all of her recommendations were on point. I'd love to explore the menu more so I will for sure be back.
Cozy with a Dash of Magnificent
I don’t know what I was expecting exactly, but oh, my, it took me by surprise. The mystery, twisty underground path to this Love City lounge was as intriguing as the vibe here. The Ruby Slippers and Queen’s Club cocktails kept us hydrated, at least that’s what I think we had, I was very busy surrendering to the surroundings. What’s not to love when your date asks a great question and leans in to hear your answer, fabulously framed in a green velvet and bowling alley backdrop. The corner table was the perfect place to tell tales and share secrets and dreams. It’s also a good place to have a lean-over-just-for-the-hell-of-it fairy tale kiss. But only if you’re into that kinda thing. Some might say it’s even the best part. Sorry, mixologists and super servers. You were also magnificent. Atmosphere-10. Libations-10. Service-10. Company-12. Kiss-25. Like the special and dazzling human who accompanied me here, and whose birthday it is, I would come back to this place.
A rushed and limited Happy Hour in a beautiful space
Got to the restaurant a little past 4:00 pm to take advantage of Happy Hour. Lucky we did, the place gets crowded quickly w a young and boisterous crowd. Sat in the front entry area - very cozy and comfortable. Service was friendly but a bit rushed. Limited Happy Hour menu, both food and drink. The dishes were average but not great. The “pizza” is really a flatbread and just okay. Prices very fair making the entire experience worthwhile.
Best brunch in years
If you're of a certain age (like me), you'll recall a time when a great Sunday brunch buffet was a norm, with many restaurants doing it well. Those days seem to be largely in the past. Brunch at H&C is a welcome throwback. We went yesterday. The room is warm and inviting. There was a reasonable variety of options from apps to sides to mains to deserts. Everything we tried was spot-on and well prepared. Service was excellent: the waitress did not hover, was available when we wanted, and we were not rushed out. The only negative is that with only one chef making two omelets at a time, there were at times a fairly significant line for a custom omelet. That said, I waited a bit for the line to subside, and the omelet was well worth the wait. I definitely recommend this brunch, and we'll be back.
Great Happy Hour!
Awesome little lower level Speakeasy! Get there early because they fill up quickly! Drinks were reasonable and service was decent.
Great brunch
We love coming here for brunch on Sundays. It is buffet style with lots of options and everything is quite tasty. The ambience inside reminds me of an old bank, darker woods, etc adds to the appeal. Service is always excellent and you can't beat the price considering what you get. Multiple options of tasty food and buffet style. Can get busy, but even then it's not too bad. Highly recommend for your next leisurely brunch.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
