720 Fusion Fresh Steamboat Springs Reviews from The Last Year
Service and food was mid.
Sushi was better than sides. Not bad but wouldn't come back, I'd maybe order takeout. No music either.

We picked here because they delivered to our unit at the mountain. Service was quick and reliable. The food was still hot when it arrived and everything was packaged neatly and securely. 10/10

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced for delivery. We made an order over 2 hours ago and spoke 3 different times to the numbers listed. All they had to say was asking us how we ordered online, the site brings you to Uber eats/delivery then I was told I would receive a call back from someone who would know and after another 20 mins my friend called and they tried giving the same answer and she said she would hold for an answer, and they hung up on her …. Now entering hour 3 without any response physically or by phone
Our 1st dinner in Steamboat for 23/24 ski season.
I hate giving bad reviews. I honestly do, but I'm also a foodie and a food lover and having great dinners is a big part of the whole ski experience for me. I should have known from the website itself, which doesn't show a menu to pick another option. But, you never know, right? 1st of all, the atmosphere and interior are the worst I can recall, as there is no atmosphere, and everything is so cheap and old. After a 2 party left, we were the only ones in the place, and at times, it was literally dead silent. I finally asked to have the volume on the TV over the sushi bar turned on, so we could watch the end of the NFC Championship game - that took over 5 minutes, and I'm not exaggerating. So, yeah, this is a Chinese sushi place and no one spoke English very well...or sometimes at all. I wanted some sake (as it was pretty obvious this was not the spot for a killer martini), and asked our waiter what she recommended. She didn't have a recommendation, and didn't even understand when we asked about filtered and unfiltered sake. I had the "Hana Awaka", in a twist-off bottle..for $18.00. It wasn't terrible by any means, but nothing special and way overpriced. My buddy ordered a green tea and some "angry" edamame. The edamame was actually quite good, but sadly, the single highlight of the entire meal. He also ordered 2 specialty rolls - Spicy 101 Roll and Bronco Roll. I decided to wait to see how his were before ordering 2 more. BUT...it took well over 30 minutes for "the sushi chef" to prepare these 2 rolls, and remember, no one else was in the restaurant, except for an older gentleman, who may have been the owner, and he got behind the sushi bar and made himself numerous rolls, while the actual "sushi chef" also made him rolls to take out/home? I don't know. I used quotation marks around "sushi chef", as I can't imagine he was an actual sushi chef. He spoke ZERO English, which makes sitting at the sushi bar a real entertaining thing...NOT! Also, I watched as he made the rolls and was shocked how slow he was, almost unsure what even went into each roll. Also, he never properly wrapped up any of the proteins after using, and actually, most of the protein was not properly wrapped at any time. It got so ridiculous, I said "screw it", and ordered 2 more rolls. Not realizing, I ordered a duplicate - the spicy 101 Roll, as well as a Scorpion Roll. Finally, the 1st 2 rolls arrived, and to our shock, our server said 1 of the rolls was actually mine, which I just ordered a few minutes earlier. After a few, we figured out that these 2 rolls were definitely my buddy's, from the 1st order. Realizing, I had ordered a dupe, I called the server over and changed the order, which at first she said she couldn't as it was already being made - but I knew it hadn't been started yet, so I changed to a Black Widow Roll. She went behind the sushi bar and I overheard her tell the sushi chef to "make it right...make it normal...not super crazy hot." Strange. The Spicy 101 Roll is supposed to be "spicy crab, spicy scallop, spicy tuna, deep fried with panko, with a sweet chili sauce on top". Sounds good, right? It was not. It was a deep fried mess with no flavor. Several pieces were left on the plate. The Bronco roll is supposed to be "tempura eel, avocado, laced with slices of albacore, salmon, and masago". This one was downright terrible. I actually spit out several pieces into my napkin, as the texture and taste were bad. Again, several pieces were left on the plate. At this point, my buddy got some fried rice. Guess what? He barely ate any. Finally, my 2 rolls arrived. The Scorpion Roll is supposed to be "shrimp tempura, soft shell crab, and avocado, topped with shrimp, eel sauce, and spicy mayo". This one was also terrible. Overloaded with the mayo, shrimp on top inedible, and shrimp tempura and soft shell crab literally flavorless (and actually I couldn't even make out either any shrimp tempura or soft shell crab). About half of this roll was left on the plate. My Black Widow roll is supposed to be "soft shell crab, spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, topped with tobiko and spicy mayo. Once again, I swear I couldn't find any soft shell crab inside, the mayo was way too thick, and overall, just bland, tasteless stuff. several pieces left on plate. Cost with tax and tip was $135. I can't honestly recall a single time where the 2 of us left sushi on the plate, and both agreed, not a single roll was what we would consider "good". I went on to say they were all pretty bad. I'm sorry, as the people seemed to be friendly and were trying, but let way down by that sushi chef and a terrible, uncomfortable atmosphere.
I ate here for lunch because of their lunch specials.
I ordered the sushi lunch combo with three rolls: salmon roll, california roll, and tuna avacado roll. It also came with a salad. Food was great! I would totally recommend giving this place a shot!

Omg gross!! What was that? The spicy tuna roll tasted like tuna out of the can. Praying none of us get sick!!! At least they credited back some of the rolls we sent back. Ugh. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
