Improvement as compare to last year visit. Good good. Good service. The staff will recommend what tea is more suitable for us when we can't make decision

Service was bad and slow. Wanted to order take long but tell people only 80 mins dining. Finally got someone to take order, ordered kid meal then take go key in first then go missing. Wont come back again

This restaurant is the first Yun nan style stone pot fish in Singapore that was openly in end 2022. The pressure steam fish is a must try & instaworthy. We ordered the live fresh soon hok which was about 1 kg ($88), the fish meat was so tender, juicy with a natural umami sweetness indicating the freshness of the fish. There were 2 choices of soup & we went for the fish collagen soup. It was just about right in terms of balance of richness & flavour yet not too gummy and too overwhelming that you get taste fatigue. For those who like fish collar meat, the fried barramundi fish collar is very good, again it is the freshness of the fish that makes it so tasty. Grilled clam with spicy garlic sauce was a good side dish. The tang Hoon was soaked in the clam juice making it really good. In addition to these above, they offer similar menu to other Yun Nans chain restaurants that specialise in the pressure steam chicken. As usual, I finished off my meal with the rose pastry which never failed me. Highly recommended!!

We were lucky to get a seat before the queue builds up. Think it’s possible to reserve, must check how. The service is good , like the signature soup mixian and the tofu pot. Grilled fish is fresh, would prefer more flavours. Overall good food and good service. Enjoyed, would recommend

When to its ion orchard outlet, but packed with people, and the service staff are all too busy. Sadly , only the one at Northpoint has the fished steamed in their famous 气炸锅 steampot, this really turn out to be a bummer when i learned that Orch do not have it while the chicken version is good , was really looking forward to more. Love their truffle horfun, kept thinking about it even up till today Also, their pomelo, w lily bulb sweet salad is something unique too, somehow the kids love the tofu - not sure why their 过桥米线 is not too oily but tasted just ordinary for me

Tried this restaurant for a weekday lunch as often saw long queue on weekend. Stir-fried Wild Porcini Mushroom with Dried Chillies was so extremely addictive. Much attracted by Lychee Prawn Paste Ball with its outlook and it was very juicy. Seafood Porched Rice was a soothing dish. it was a pleasant dining experience.

Second visit, the ion orchard outlet, the grilled seabass with lemongrass was really very good, very fresh and very tasty. My second time ordering this dish, rather surprised that it was better than the previous visit. The crispy bursting tofu was good too. Ambience okay and normal customer service. Food quality = 5 star Ambience = 3.5 star Customer service = 3.5 star

I am not the only one to be deceived by its banner right in front of the restaurant but hopefully I will be the last one. The banner was promoting its set lunch at reduced prices. We we made to queue for nearly an hour in a system that does not work only to be told the set lunch was only for weekdays. Why then is the banner displayed on an weekend? After an hour wait, it leaves the guests with few choices but to order from its much more expensive a la carte menu. Is that a devious way to trick customers and build up a queue? The waitresses managing the queue were also rude and uncouth unbefitting to be in a service industry. The customers are not beggars waiting for free food and should not be treated as such. The food is at best mediocre. Avoid this place. Bring your money somewhere else. The restaurant is a blemish to an otherwise perfect Sunday afternoon at the Jewel.

First visit, the ion orchard outlet. The grilled seabass with lemongrass was good, very fresh. The beancurd pudding with brown sugar was good too. Good recommendation from ST. Ambience okay and normal customer service.

Yummy Yunan food which is unique & refined, almost everything we ordered was good. The steak pot chicken soup is a must try. Charcoal grilled sea bass with lemongrass is heavenly, spicy, tangy, smoky with tender meat, The braised wheat pumpkin with ham is fragrant, sweet & hearty, poached pork collar with pickled chili is a perfect blend of meatiness, sourness, very silky & spicy. The fried chilli is very fragrant. Crispy roasting tofu is a bit average. Overall it was a very good dinner with good ambience and excellent service. Would come back again.

The service is rather curt at the reception. They also do not accept reservations so weekends and peak hours could be an issue. Once seated, though, service is efficient and prompt. My family didn’t order the signature chicken soup but instead opted for a BBW fish dish, a crispy fried duck, and seafood rice noodle. The fish and the duck were both very well cooked, full of mala flavors, but not too spicy for most diners.

My third time at this restaurant with authentic Yunnan dishes. Recommended to my makan kali who was delighted with the food. Phoned to make the booking as the Quandoo website didn't seem to be working well and got a table at 12noon. Allocated 80 minutes for our meal which was adequate time except that we had to wait quite a while for the grilled fish in the set at $39.90 for two, complete with rice and tea. Worth waiting for though as it was delicious, crispy skin, and with lemon squeezed over the lemongrass and peppercorn paste, piquant and tantalizing. The braised tofu with cordyceps balanced the dishes with a soupy broth while the century eggs were nicely presented with red and yellow capsicum strips. Shall drop in again for the hot fun rumoured to have great wok hei!

Fish skin with fried jasmine flowers is very interesting. Taste pretty good. As for their signature hor fan dish, a little on the oily side but has wok hei. Overall is good. Will go back again. Dining time is limited to 1.5 hrs, hence pretty rushed and stressed while eating.

I went to the restaurant with one of my friend. Due to the phone problem he did't get to use his phone to check in the code. And the female staff with light blue collar , thigh up long hair, chubby body size she being so rude and so call "instruct" me as a client to check in for my friend. And the way the staff lead me to the restaurant was so unfriendly. They way the served the food to the table event worst. They like throw the dishes on the service counter. I will say the overall itude and the services from the staff at the restaurant were unfriendly! Even the attire were so poor and unprofessional. This are the way of the staff representing the company image.

Ordered the set lunch and it is highly worth it. The seafood broth with rice is rich and has generous serving. Ordered the frozen milk desert which is amazing as well!
