00 circus circus. It just astounds me to see a historically fabulous brand reduced to mediocrity by Millenial management. I've been staying at the property for over a decade (when it was the Mandarin) and every time I come it seems less and less fabulous. As someone famous once said: "you can put lipstick on a pig, but, it's still just a pig." The door men are on their cellphones, the evening turndown doesn't exist, check-in while friendly can't place you in the room category you paid for... It's painfully obvious none of the staff has ever actually experienced what a guest staying in the property would actually expect. I'm generally willing to pay a premium to get the "old world" experience, but, if it winds up being half-assed and undelivered I'd rather save my money and stay in a stereotypical Vegas dump like everyone else.
