Friendly positive waitstaff with excellent service.
Fun drink menu and nice selections on the dinner menu. The burgers never disappoint and if you like scallops, mine were amazingly delicious. A place to go with friends, with family or even a date.

We had a terrific brunch at Vincent today --food and service were great. But about halfway through brunch the live band and singer started. They weren't bad (they weren't all that great either), but they were so loud. Not only couldn't you talk, you felt like your eardrums were going to explode in the small space. Then when we were leaving the singer decided to make a snarky remark at us ("Was it something I said?"). We'd been there for 2 hours. Don't they want to turn the tables? It was disappointing for such a great place!

A wonderful Andersonville neighborhood gem with good food and excellent wait staff. Have never been disappointed dining here. Just as a note - the room can get noisy when full.

I've been going to Vincent's for several years, and it is consistently a great place. Wonderful food, imaginatively, created, great drinks, and very friendly and professional staff. And an absolutely beautiful venue. In warm weather there is great outdoor seating.

Was grateful to experience this restaurant with a group of friends celebrating a birthday and tried several dishes. Stand outs were definitely the spicy cauliflower and potato gnocchi! Discretely let server know we were celebrating my friends birthday and they made it so special with bringing her amazing crème brûlée and the piano player/singer sang happy birthday. Truly memorable experience. Want to come back and try brunch!
Be the first to ReplyI just love this place.
The food is always spot on, the service is impeccable and warm, and the cocktails are excellent. You can really tell the owners care. Really happy they do piano nights on fri/sat. Would be great if they would do a sing a long showtunes every now and then. Keep up the good work!
Be the first to ReplyWe have loved Vincent for years.
The food is great - Mussels are a must, lobster roll delish (did not love the chips). The service is good. We dined there Friday with out of town friends, had an 8:30 reservation and luckily we're seated outside, because shortly thereafter Julia Merchant started playing piano and singing. She was very loud and very awful. We apologized to our deaf friends. Vincent, we love your food, please make Julia stop!!!
Be the first to ReplyI think it's good nice environment but a little overpriced.
Love the neighborhood of Andersonville.

I've been here a few times and it's consistently excellent! Drinks, food, music, and staff = superb! I'm so thankful to have this gem in the neighborhood.

While I have lived in the neighborhood for years, this was my first visit to Vincent. Friends took me for brunch for my birthday. The brunch menu at Vincent is concise with both breakfast and lunch items represented. We started with a bloody mary which was very good. Fresh flavorful. A good amount of spice. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict, a friend ordered the omelet and another friend ordered the steak and eggs. I am very particular about my eggs benedict. The English muffin must be toasted enough to remain crispy once assembled. The eggs must be perfectly poached and not too runny and not hard-boiled. I never hesitate to send back eggs that aren't cooked properly. Eggs are an inexpensive ingredient and they need to be perfect. Hollandaise sauce should be warm, subtle, creamy with a slight acidity. Vincent got it right. The steak was cooked perfectly and the omelet was really a french omelet. Light, folded, and delicate. All three dishes were winners and I would return without hesitations. A limited menu allows the staff to focus on fewer items and prepare them really well. Some other places in the neighborhood at the same price point that I won't name...but their initials are BJ has the B-Team for Brunch. I should not have to teach the staff what a properly poached egg is but I digress.

Went for brunch and it was delicious! My wife had the Diner Style and I had Wendy Sitti Crepes. Fun environment, too.
Be the first to ReplyNew owner wrecked what was once our favorite place to eat.
The old Vincent had a really lovely vibe and reliably interesting and varied menus. The new Vincent is anything but. The menu hasn't changed in over three months. They keep bringing in truly cringe-worthy music performers (you can find videos on their social media accounts). And the food, while good, isn't amazing like it once was. There's not much to get excited about. I keep hoping for signs of positive change but instead keep finding more reasons to stay away.

Had the steak and broccoli and my mouth was a burst of wonderful flavor. The staff super friendly and helpful. I know on some nights they have entertainment, wish they would do it all the time on the weekend as the Friday we went no entertainment.

This place never disappoints between the ambiance, food, drinks, and service. I'd recommend Vincent's to anyone looking for a great burger or cheese board!

We have eaten there twice. Once as a more formal date/night out and once just stopping in for beers and burgers. It works both ways. Super friendly. Great service, fantastic food and a nice selection of drinks. I am not an IPA fan, so I love that the have more than basic lighter beer options. On top of that, the setting is lovely. They clearly want you to enjoy the space as much as the food. It is a small space, so know that going in. If you have concerns about social distancing, this is probably not the spot for you. Even the outdoor space isn't huge. Worth the trip for any vaccinated.

Enjoyed a 5:30pm reservation on a Saturday evening, which is right when it opens. We came here to enjoy a nice meal and cocktails to celebrate our anniversary. We each ordered a Help Wanted, which was really good (My go-to is a gin and tonic) and my wife doesn't drink gin, but she really liked it because you could hardly taste it. We also drank a bottle of the Cabernet. We enjoyed the Market Salad and PEI Mussels for the appetizers. They were kind enough to split our salads for us since we asked for the blue cheese on the side. The crostinis dipped in the sauce for the mussels was highly rated. The hanger steak is what you'd expect, both chewy and tender. The frites and aoli are a solid combo. The chicken was not dry at all and very succulent. Next time we visit we'll stay for the late night entertainment and maybe a burger!

Got the table for two quick.Stuff was nice.Cocktails were tasting good but felt like 0 alcohol in them.Ordered Salad that came in pretty quick tasted good no complaints. We also ordered a steak with truffle fries, burger and two Crème brûlée desserts and I'm sorry but if you don't wanna waste 130$ then go somewhere else... we waited for an hour to get our steak and burger dishes.Steak was ordered medium but came medium rare.Fries were ordered as truffle and came regular on the table.Burger was having a burned around patty and that patty was super thin.Want to know how the dessert was? That Crème brûlée looked good outside but inside was all like water and tasted like I'm eating some Crème brûlée from supermarket but definitely not from a $$$ restaurant.Don't waste your money here.
