PERFECT UPscale ITALIAN RESTAURANT!!!!
Small but nice restaurant with very good and very friendly staff....10 out of 10 Atmosphere summer or winter always very cozy and warm... The quality of the pasta or meat dishes + the wine absolutely like in Italy, very good address in Munich, definitely worth repeating, a must on every visit to Munich...

One of the best and most beautiful restaurants in Munich, excellent Upscale Italian cuisine and excellent service, good wine list
Be the first to ReplyNice restaurant, small portions
If you're looking for a great atmosphere and aren't particularly hungry, you'll feel at home here. Very cozy restaurant, attentive waiters and good food, that's definitely a positive thing. But I can only agree with the last review. The portions are very small, you won't be full with just one main course, and that's for €45 per person for a fish.

A lovely (and delicious) experience from beginning to end! We ordered the 4 course tasting menu and it was divine, as was the wine. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and attentive service. Delicious regional Italian!

Went there a few days ago for a family birthday. Without words, exceptional! Greetings to Antonio and all the staff!
Be the first to ReplyTwo dishes are mandatory, but dessert does not count!
The restaurant is centrally located in Munich Haidhausen. The first thing you notice is the pleasant, warm atmosphere, wooden floors, lovely light, beautifully laid tables with starched white tablecloths and cloth napkins, lots of wine bottles on the walls, so all in all, really beautifully decorated, so beautiful, it could be a film set. When you look at the menu, you are vehemently informed with 3 exclamation marks at the beginning and 3 at the end of the sentence !!!……!!! that you MUST choose at least 2 dishes (without dessert!!!! because that doesn't count!! it's extra) without any discussion, otherwise you are apparently not welcome in this restaurant? This then becomes very clear, because the portions are served on very nice plates, but the edge of the plate takes up 2/3 and the middle of the plate 1/3, so the dish is automatically so tiny that a dish on its own seems like a small appetizer. Prices are only approximate: starters and pasta cost between 20 and 30 euros, fish and meat between 35 and 45 euros. For example, we had grilled fish for the main course for 2 people for 43 euros per person. There was really very little filleted fish on the plate with 2 tiny potatoes and 10 beans. The fish tasted very good, but was eaten in 5 minutes. All in all, we had a lovely evening, because the restaurant is very nice, the service very friendly but it is simply far too expensive. With wine and dessert you have to budget around 100 euros per person.

Very nice place! I went there together with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The food is not cheap but it tastes good. The waiter was friendly and his wine recommendation went very well with our menu. Please note, that they require you to take at least two courses, but since the portions are not too big, I would suggest that anyway.

Small and somewhat strange menu. Also quite rxpensive. But that would be ok if it wasn’t fot the slow, poor service, no actually horrible arrogant service. Never ever again.
Be the first to ReplyNYE 7-course extravaganza lives up to the hype
I have been meaning to make this review for some time now so I am a little late but the meal was memorable enough to still give a decent review. For starters its a Michelin restaurant so you have high expectations and rightly so. Those will be met and or exceeded so don't worry about getting your money's worth you will. My partner and I had the 7 course NYE dining menu which was not traditional obviously but an event thing so I can only speak to those dishes but the service was outstanding. Its a small space so definitely make reservations in advance, its nice that this is a relative sleeper on the Italian restaurants in Munich so getting a res shouldn't be too difficult most days. The staff was friendly and funny, they know multiple languages so you're never out of the loop on a dish or a joke. The wine selection is superb, their cheapest bottle of chardonnay was easily the best chardonnay I've ever had. The dishes we beautiful and creative, from the ravioli to the seabass, the veal, and the bleu cheese creme brulee which was a sweet and savory delight. I would go again for their standard menu as it has more traditional Italian staples on it but with the quality of food and technique from the kitchen you're certain to get an upscale version that's sure to please.
