Tsushima New York Reviews from The Last Year
Had a good dinner at this spot.
They have a decent menu and I enjoyed it. I had the horse and Japanese mackerel sashimi. The horse ( it's not horse) mackerel was not my favorite. The Japanese mackerel was good, but not spectacular. The best thing I had was the sardine sashimi. Otherwise, the happy hour is worthwhile including house saki and Japanese whiskey. Service was very good. I ate in the bar and the bartender was very kind and engaging.
Food was average, definitely overpriced for what it is.
Better off going to one of the smaller sushi places nearby. If you want to take some leftovers home be prepared to pay $1.50 for a box and a bag. In conclusion, you can skip this place.

As a resident of Northern California I'm a tough critic of nyc sushi and Japanese food. This restaurant is excellent. The sashimi salmon was excellent and tempura was tender and very fresh. I'll be back.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years.
Very authentic, food is meticulous and staff are very polite and friendly. I feel like I am back in Japan when I dine here and love to take friends to eat here. They have private rooms on the side but you will need to take off your shoes to enter these rooms.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
