This time he disappointed me..
We return to this restaurant after a few years, happy with the experience we had in the past, but we were very disappointed. The quality of the food dropped, the pizza was not good, the wait was very long even though we were the first customers of the evening, but above all there was a lack of attention relating to the allergens in the dishes: during the ordering phase, an allergy to a food had been explicitly declared and the waiter did not indicate that the chosen dish contained it, effectively preventing its consumption

Delicious food and great service. Went there few times. Had pasta, pizza and couscous. Nice location.

we ordered fish couscos believing we would enjoy an excellent dish, but instead we found ourselves faced with a dish of tasteless and colorless bran with two pieces (I say only two) of fish and little seasoning. Highly not recommended. Experience to forget.
Be the first to ReplyHis Majesty the Imperial Cous Cous :)
San Vito is known as the city of fish Cous Cous, so what do you do? Don't you try it? Of course you try it!!! We book the same day on the advice of the hotelier. As lovers of large quantities, we choose the "Imperial Cous Cous", composed of shellfish and cherry tomatoes. Quantity worthy of its name (emperor, empress and children eat it) unlike the flavor which was a bit disjointed and insipid. In conclusion, an average dinner, with a positive note from the waiter Diop, fresh and elegant, who served us impeccably.
Be the first to ReplyFood very good, service not good
Food was very good. Service was not good at all. Order was taken incorrectly. 4 waiters watched us and grinned behind hidden hands while we ate. They wanted to clear the table even though someone was still eating. Then they didn't even come around the table to clear the plate. They wanted me to give him the plate even though I still had something to drink in my hand. All pretty unfriendly and unprofessional.

I went almost without fail thanks to the advice of some of my relatives who had already visited the place. The experience was absolutely positive both for the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff. Worth taking into consideration for future visits
Be the first to ReplyAn unpleasant surprise
We often go to San Vito lo Capo and every time dinner or lunch at 'Gna Sara must not be missed, this time it was a dinner like many others, the food was good but that extra something was missing which is the attention to the customer to whom we were accustomed but who new waiters (the historic Mr. Franco was missing who graciously knew how to advise us and encouraged us to try new dishes) were unable to pass on to us. We asked for the pasta with clams without parsley and it arrived with parsley, the waitress who poured us the wine (a bored girl already at 8.30pm) poured plenty of it on the tablecloth and then tried to cover the stain with the bread basket, we had to ask for it to be dried. They cleared the table immediately with other diners still eating... an invitation to leave. Too bad, I hope next time to find a friendlier atmosphere and perhaps Mr. Franco.

Nice place and good service. The owner is very kind. Good food. The cheese and cured meat platter presents itself well and is very well varied. Advised.

Be the first to ReplyFood tastes like chewy charcoal!
The worst seafood in San Vito lo Capo…the grill tastes like chewing in charcoal! Both of the dishes we ordered tastes terrible and that should have been the local speciality…

we could not get in the first night as we had 11 but booked for 9 pm the following night. Our climbing session ended earlier than expected ( 30c is too hot to climb much). Our hostel manager (Marco at Timbuktu ) called them and they changed it to an hour earlier (8pm) with no quibbles. They set up a special table for us and the service, food and wine were all fabulous and delivered quite quickly consider the size of our group. Well worth a visit.
