🤮 1/5 - We were graciously greeted at our appointed reservation

We were graciously greeted at our appointed reservation time and seated, but no one came to the table to ask about a drink order or even to check if we had been waited on for 25 minutes. We had to call someone over. They brought a spread for an amuse-bouche but no plates. We had to request plates and they brought us the wrong plates, very hot straight out of the dishwasher that melted the spread. When they came to clear for our entrée, asked us to keep our creamy knives for the next course....unheard of! I had the tomato salade which was lovely to look at, but the tomatoes were hard and tasteless. As Iive in Paris, I know this is the season and wonderful tomatoes are easily found and bountiful. My main course was the "aller-retour" tartare...completely unseasoned and watery. I have honestly never had such a bad tartare. It was like eating raw meat run through a cuisinart. I finished (actually left half my tartare) my plat (main course) before my partner; the waiter (first time we had seen him) rushed over to take my plate while he was still eating (also a very under-seasoned Basque chicken dish- normally very seasoned). Removing a plate while others at a table are still eating is very rude anywhere, but especially in France completely taboo. The expensive Lalande Pomerol was not good. I live in Paris and we eat out constantly. At NO time did anyone stop by the table to ask how our dinner was. This was by far the worst meal (and extremely expensive relative to the dishes which we have had many times at small, intimate restaurants all over Paris) we have had in Paris. They are obviously trading on the reputation of their 2 star restaurant (although I am loathe to try it now) and tourists who just want to say they have come to this brasserie. I would certainly never recommend it.
