Great Night Out
Great night out, live music, comfortable surroundings as they have a covered area and multiple heaters and fireplaces!! Delany was are server and she was the absolute best!! Brisket tacos are amazing!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing server saved us from a poor experience. Overpriced food.
The greatest part of our trip to The Rustic: Necie. She is incredible. She is like google for how to enjoy this place. Arriving on a Sunday at 2:30 is a challenge. The kitchen is changing from brunch to regular menu. We didn’t know. No printed or online happy hour menu. We ordered the spoon bread to start. $7 for a couple of bites. No spoon given. Split a burger and onion rings. Had 1 beer (they have a large selection) a mule and a margarita. $71.15. Necie helped again by suggesting regular ranch to accompany the onion rings because the jalapeño ranch is super hot. Great idea to use both. She also recommended a beer. It was very impressive that she has actually eaten the food before. Few servers can answer detailed questions. Necie knew it all. The burger was delicious! Smoky and flavorful. The onion rings were huge and delicious. The batter is sneaky spicy as well. Yum. I can see the appeal of The Rustic, but not sure we will ever return. It’s large and tables aren’t crammed together, which is a plus. The hostess was wonderful as well. The restroom hall and design is awful. Not sure how that happened. Small hall, and if it’s bright out, be prepared to struggle to see the sign. Can’t even imagine trying to get to the restroom on a crowded night. We would only consider returning if Necie was working. Ask for her if you go. Wait on her area to open if you have to. Again, 1 burger, 1 beer, 2 adult drinks, 1 onion rings, 1 spoon bread: $71.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for weekend brunch
The brunch menu was great. It was served family style and had many different items I would have never thought about combining. My son had the burger which is always awesome and my daughter-in-law had the hot chicken. Live music was a little too loud but always a good experience at the Rustic

The Rustic has a very good brunch on the weekends. Great selection of foods and refreshing mimosas. Outdoor dining is great and they often have live entertainment.
Be the first to ReplyBrontosaurus chop
Have you ever seen Fred Flintstone eat a brontosaurus rib in the cartoon? These guys have it and they call it a triple pork chop. They say it's pork, I think it's Brontosaurus because it's comically huge so huge in fact it takes about 35 minutes to get to the table. Which is worth it I'm not complaining. I've had it twice and the servers, Daniel and Mariah, must have went to college for waiting tables because they were that good. Service matched the food quality. Bravo Rustic.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food
We had cactus fries and brisket quesadillas. Both the appetizer and entree were very good. Quick service.

Wife and I had dinner. I had a salmon burger, she .... I forgot. But the dinner was awesome. So tasty, big portions, very good prices. The place is well done, the service fast and friendly and lots of parking right before the house. Great dinner, great time. Highly recommend it

Be the first to ReplyFantastic find for a fun night!
Fantastic! Random find. Food was amazing. Great big place with lots of character. Live music after 10pm. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyEven Drunk this wouldn't be good....
Loved the vendor he had a lot of personality, but the food was terrible. We ordered two bowls for $36 Bucks plus tip. First the bowl was not a chipolte size bowl..... it was maybe 1 cup that included lettuce (iceburg, a little rice some beans and maybe three cubes of chicken). No flavor, the corn that was added was still cold and the sprinkle of cheese on top was a joke. I would have to say never again. For the price i would have had two meals at chipolte bowl and a lot more flavor. IF you see them at the truckyard in the Colony stay clear. Very disappointing.

Nothing negative about the place. Atmosphere was lively with a Texas feel . Bar tender was great. Very attentive as the place was a little busy. I had the drunk chix. I saw it on tv and thought that looks so good. I was a little disappointed. The breast meat was really dry, but the dark meat was juicy. The butter did not add much additional flavor. The jalapeño spoon cornbread was fine. We also had the tamales and deviled eggs. The eggs were really good. Very creamy with plenty of flavor. Tamales had the jalapeño cornbread filling and each tamale had either a brisket, chix, or pork topping. They all had a good flavor.
