Area's best, request Julia if you can! We were lucky to be sat at one of her tables our first time here and she has recognized us every time since. She knows us by name even when it has been a while since our last visit. When we are not lucky enough get Julia, she still makes a point to come over and ask how we have been and how our visit is going.

Loved this place! Went for my boyfriend and I's anniversary to try a new Korean BBQ spot and this one did not disappoint. Service was great and the ambiance was really nice. Has this gorgeous open floor concept with high ceilings and the decor is spot on. I was a big fan of the meats and sauces too. The orange bulgogi was really different in a good way! The spicy pork belly was also marinated really well. Sides are delicious and kimchi was so tasty (I usually don't eat kimchi but loved this one and the spice it had). Definitely coming back!

I have been coming to the Qui at Metrotech Drive since they first opened. This has been a go-to spot of mine for KBBQ. The food quality and service have been consistent for the most part each time we've eaten here. My favorite item of the Qui's compared to other KBBQ spots is easily their Premium (Fatty) Brisket. This is one of the main selling points for me to pick this place over others. I would also recommend their regular bulgogi as I think they have the best. It's well marinated and so flavorful that this is often the favorite amongst my family/friends. On date nights, my wife and I opt for their Beef Combo for 2, and we're happy with the selection it comes with. The combo also comes with my go-to sides that are great here: the steamed egg and soybean stew. The restaurant has a nice, chill vibe to it with a lot of space, and the music playing isn't too loud. My wife and I also wanted to give our server tonight, Richard, a shout-out. He's been the best server we've had - he was very attentive and charismatic, and we enjoyed talking to him. The main reasoning I would give 4 stars and not 5 is mainly because I'm not crazy about their pork belly and chicken options. While not bad, their pork belly and soy garlic chicken are standard, nothing too special. They do offer unique options I don't see at other KBBQ spots like orange bulgogi, Masala honey butter chicken, and cumin pork belly. However, after trying them once, my family and I weren't interested in ordering them again. Their corn cheese is also pretty standard and could be better. All this said, this is still one of my favorite spots to go to for KBBQ. Thank you!

Our time at Qui's Korean Barbecue was truly special, largely due to Saechaan's exceptional service. Their genuine care and expertise added a lovely touch to our meal, making it a memorable and delightful experience. I wholeheartedly suggest Qui, and having Saechaan as your server guarantees a wonderful dining adventure. It's a definite five-star recommendation!

The food was good, but the service was great. Isaac was attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. Would come back

Isaac Hong was my server and I heard that he's not working there anymore. His service was great, I'd go back again if he'll be my server again.
Be the first to ReplyWould have loved to try their food here, but it is set up
Would have loved to try their food here, but it is set up where you have to buy at least two orders, even if there is only one. I get this whole capitalism thing, but really?!?! I couldn't even find anything I wanted to take to go! Energy was low and subdued. Not that happening of a place. Instead I got a recommendation of other places to go near by. What a bummer. What was weird is that they weren't even busy!

We had such a delightful and enjoyable lunch at this adorable place! We brought along some kiddos and were the first ones to arrive. We decided to go for the unlimited menu, which was a great choice. The food was delicious, especially the appetizers and sides, although they had a slightly smaller selection compared to other K-BBQ places. The kids absolutely loved the white rice. What made the experience even better was the peaceful and spacious atmosphere during lunchtime, allowing us to relax and no music. The server came by though towards the end to apologize for there being an issue with the music, but honestly, we found it quite nice without it and even mentioned that fact. However, they eventually managed to get it working and it became a bit too loud towards the end of our meal. Despite that, we still had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning for lunch with the kids as this is a great place to make memories. It was amazing seeing the littles using chopsticks on the rice and trying all the appetizers.
Be the first to ReplyThis is without a doubt the best Korean BBQ in the DMV.
The hostess always greet you with such a wonderful attitude, polite and always smiling. Our go to person is Julia! Although everyone there are great as we've been here so many times. Julia makes every time a better one. A humble young lady that makes you feel at home. The meat quality is great! Our favorite by far is the cumin pork belly. The cocktails are great too! My favorite is the Mai Tai! I've tried many places (restaurants and bars) but the one Julia makes is the BEST! The Qui atmosphere is great! The music loudness is just right, lighting is perfect, service always on point. It's a great place to hangout with friends, have a good chat, enjoy the food and share some drinks!
Be the first to ReplyThis is my first time as a patron to this Korean BBQ
This is my first time as a patron to this Korean BBQ restaurant and I will be coming back. The place gave cool vibes as the decor was new age with the a huge open area with seating on the main floor and second floor. The music was not too loud like some other reviews have stated. We came right when they opened at 5pm and was warmly greeted by the host. They were still getting ready but it did not take long for us to be seated. My friend and I chose the AYCE option for $36PP. Meat options were good... we ordered the top blade, spicy beef bulgogi, shrimp, thin sliced brisket, and pork belly. My only gripe is the meats did have a lot of fat on them. More so than other Korean bbq places I have frequented. The stand out meat option for me was the top blade. We also ordered the corn cheese, radish and beef soup and steamed egg sides--- all were good! Our waiter was attentive and came by frequently to grill our meats and was prompt in bringing us refills when requested. Overall, the waiter was great!

My first experience at QUI was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal. Soooo many places have been imposing tips on customers for their services, and I would actually feel threaten to leave a tip despite such poor, awful services. However, every penny I left for tip was sooo well-deserved and actually gave the server more for the amazing service. He was so attentive to our needs to the point that he saw that my son "struggling" to drink water from the cup, and without asking--he brought for him a straw and a smaller cup. Without our prompting, he asked about what meat(s) we wanted and brought them out for us at such optimal time, as well as the side dishes and refilling our water. We mostly had thin-sliced brisket and pork belly, and they were all fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the side dishes: corn cheese, steamed eggs, rice cake with ggochujang sauce, and the bean paste soup---these weren't mind-blowing but still good! Side Note:1. Kids under the age of 8 eats for free! This was a big pro for us as we have four year old son. 2. The side dishes are individual sized so depending on how many people are at your party, you'll get one of each per person (e.g. two adults got us two of steamed eggs, corn cheese, etc.)3. Spacious and dimmed; but I did reek a bit with the bbq smell 4. Ample amount parking in the front as well as along the street if needed. 5. AYCE is either $36 per person (as of 3/2023) or $55 if you get the premium---we opted out for the $36 and it was sufficient for us and the choice of the different meats. Price: $$ (for Korean bbq)

Overall the place is really nice inside. The music is fun and the atmosphere feels hip and the place is clean. Our original waiter kinda sucked.... Or second waiter was pretty solid. Pork belly was a miss but the spicy beef was .

The food was awesome, the sauces were great and the ambiance was cool. The service? Abysmal at best. Let me give y'all the rundown of what happened today, March 11 @ 1:15pm.The front desk girl was very nice and said we can sit down and wait for the rest of the party to come. She also mentioned that, the moment we order, the timer starts (90 minutes max). Appreciate her informing us ahead of time.A table of 6, $55 per person for the regular menu plus one of each premium meat (rib eye, short rib, galbi, lamb chops, rib and lobster). We thought it was 1 of each premium meat, per person so I ordered 6 rib eyes first. They came. Then I tried to order 3 short ribs, but our server told us that because we already ordered 1 meat per person, that was it. No explanation when I ordered 6 rib eyes, no warning, no nothing. Fine. So, we decided to get the $85 per person where you can get anything you want, as much as you want. Now, our server never asked if this was our first time there, nor did he ever explain to us how their restaurant policies are or any info regarding the restaurant. He didn't introduce himself to us, he just asked what we wanted and reminded us twice that we only have 90 minutes to eat. Fine, he's slightly busy so I understand. What I didn't understand was why it took so long for any of our orders to come through. When I looked around at the other tables, they were all receiving consistent and dramatically faster service than we were. I was surprised, but then again, maybe there was something going on behind the scenes that we didn't know, so benefit of the doubt, cool, let's move on.We ordered 3 diet cokes, 2 cokes and 1 ginger ale. They gave us can sodas. They charge $3 per soda (fine), but no free refills. We had to remind our server multiple times on refills regarding rice, side dishes, the soups, and garlic. It got to the point where I stopped asking for refills simply because his memory was either terribly off today or he had a lot on his mind. I tried to move on.One of our friends has a shellfish allergy and we asked if we can change out the grill, tongs and scissors once the lobster was finished cooking. Our waiter came through. But then the tongs and scissors slipped and landed on the lobster shells so I asked our waiter for another pair. 20 minutes later and still nothing. Fortunately, we were cooking thick pork belly at the time so we weren't in a huge hurry. After the 90 minute mark, only one of us was full. Our main server went on break and the substitute waiter was AWESOME. Or, he was simply doing his job properly. Either way, his service was 10 times faster and more consistent than our main server and he took care of us for about 10 minutes. After that, the main server came back and told him not to serve us anymore food because we passed the 90 minute mark.We stayed a total of just over 2 hours and half of our party was still hungry.$85 per person, plus tax, 7 sodas and 20% gratuity, this restaurant was NOT worth it. If we had consistent and great service throughout, then I'd definitely come back, but the service was probably one of the worst I've experienced at an all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant. It took every ounce of my strength and energy NOT to confront my waiter. I was livid.Premium meats 5/5 - when they say PRIME, they mean it minus the LA Galbi. You can tell it's choice grade or lower due to the lack of marbling. However, considering how expensive galbi is, that's understandable. The lobster was frozen and when heated, tasted fishy. We also ordered 5 tails and only received 3. But the other meats were fantastic.Regular meats 4/5 - pork belly and brisket was on point.Service 1/5 - please read above.By the time we left the restaurant, half of us were STILL HUNGRY.

This place is great! Went on a Monday night and had to wait 2-3 minutes for them to set up a table and then we were Sat immediately. The AYCE for 36$ was amazing. We especially liked the orange bulgogi and pork belly. I ordered a strawberry Soju cocktail which was so good. Service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. The ambiance here is also very cool and industrial feeling and the layout of the whole place is nice because they're is plenty of room between tables.

Love this place! One of my favessss it's the best Korean bbq spot in town hands down. The sides are fireeeee and the meats are great quality and flavors. Tonight I got the premium combo meats. Everything was stellar and as usual the service was amazing. I'm already thinking of the next time I eat here. Sundays are not too crazy for two people it was a 10 mins wait. They accommodate large groups but they usually are crazy around dinner time. Call in advance if it's a large group.
Be the first to ReplyEverything is so good.
I just wish it was less busy or that you could make reservations. Every time I go I have to wait like 45 mins. Reservations would be nice.

I tried to go to this place a couple of different times without having reservations and had no luck. Last week went on Wednesday and got a table immediately. I like the food from every Korean BBQ place I have been to so far and this place did not disappoint me either. Great food, great service!

Despite having many recommendations for Qui, it was not a positive experience. Did the all you can eat for around $35 and decided to try a few of the options. The cuts for the bulgogi were horrible- very chewy and fatty, felt like I was chewing for an eternity. These are the worst cuts of meat I've ever had. I was also very disappointed by the service- the waiter would come around after every 10minutes when the food would start to burn and then proceeded to serve us raw chicken twice. With all the kbbq in the area, I will definitely not ever be coming back and would not recommend.

A local IG food critic gave this place a high review so we decided to give it a try. Overall we had a good experience eating here. Great services and price ($36 AYCE). Staff was very attentive. We liked the Bulgogi and brisket the most. Lots of added options to choose from that is included in the price but we weren't particularly impressed with them (cheese corn, steam egg, mushroom, etc.)The wine is pretty expensive. $9 per glass but it's a very small pour (about half a glass). We got 3 glasses and it's already $27. It's cheaper to get a bottle at $30z. Lychee martini had good flavor but you can't taste any alcohol at all. It tasted like a non-alcoholic drink... probably won't get any cocktails next time.Overall, decent KBBQ option near Reston/Herndon. Would come here again and maybe order just what we like to eat.

Wow! Absolutely loved the food and the service at this establishment. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyIt was meh~.
We ordered off the menu instead of AYCE and the food was over priced. I did most of cooking myself otherwise it would've been burnt. Servers were nice but I felt they were inexperienced.

very cool industrial vibe to the restaurant very spacious, service was good as were the drinks, the food concept turned out phenomenal! loved the bulgogi, brisket, and chicken the best. i wouldn't recommend the shrimp because the tails are attached and i found it hard to eat but that's on me. definitely will return for more of the meat. there was a little wait but only because they have to set up the table with fresh sides which were great too :)
Be the first to ReplyThe best Korean BBQ in the area.
The choices for meats are plentiful and the quality of each choice was very high. The staff is very friendly to those new to Korean BBQ as well. The price is a little more than some other locations, but very much so worth it.
Be the first to ReplyAs per usual this place was great.
I've been here a couple of times and I never have any issue. They have a have good service and are quick with bringing the meats and sides. Everyone there is super nice. Great place to go with friends or family

Went with a group of 6 for a birthday dinner, we were told that during the weekend they do not allow people to bring in cakes which was not a problem since the table was tiny for a group of 6 and it would have been even worse with something taking space. The Soju and Soju cocktails were great , the glass noodles were so good that we ordered 2 plates ($16 each). The group also enjoyed the Soybean soup.Unfortunately those were the only stands out from the experience, the items from the all you can eat menu were not that great. The spicy bulgogi and pork belly were the only items that had some flavor. You need to clean your own shrimp. We also did not get many banchan, I think it was like 6 slices of radish to share among the 6 of us. I don't know if i would go again, but if i did it would probably with at most 4 people.
