Amazing spot for breakfast
We enjoyed breakfast here twice and both times were excellent. Everyone who works there was attentive, kind, and helpful. Coffees were fabulous, juice was freshly pressed, and mimosas were perfect. My personal favorite dishes are the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, avocado toast, and the yogurt and fruit parfait. Fruit was perfectly fresh, yogurt was delicious, and the granola was wonderful. The eggs benedict were cooked perfectly and the smoked salmon was very fresh. The salad that came along with it was lovely. The avocado toast was amazing and so fresh! Portions are LARGE. Almost too much to eat at breakfast. I would almost recommend a late breakfast or brunch here for that reason. I'm not sure why some people have given this place bad reviews. We thought it was excellent!
Be the first to ReplyWow! A Hidden Gem in the Theater District
This was not a planned visit, but the restaurant was able to accommodate a drop in on a Tuesday at around 8. My companion ordered the house speciality (Salmon Wellington); beautiful prep and the truffle sauce was delicious. I ordered the Steamed black bass with wild mushrooms, baby tomato and a light truffle dressing. Amazing … one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. The roasted duck was the last dish we ordered … perfectly cooked, with a fabulous little pot pie with a duck drumstick sticking out of the pastry (cute and clever and also delicious)! We enjoyed the rum pastry for dessert. Everything was truly fabulous. Watch out for the chef, JJ Vazquez. Amazing skills, extremely creative … the sky is the limit for this guy!!

What a delight. We came for a celebration prior to the theater and glad we did. Top notch service and excellent meals. My husband is a vegan and the choices and presentation was top notch. I enjoyed the truffles and a wonder roasted squash with burrata. The service was well organized and meaningful. I highly recommend this exper
Be the first to ReplyStunning decor, wonderful service and terrific food
We were greeted with great warmth as we entered the Lambs Club yesterday. The service was professional, cordial and attentive throughout the meal. We could have not asked for more expert servers and waitstaff. We loved the melon and corn soup as a starter and my wife enjoyed the lamb while I feasted on the Salmon. Sides of potato casserole and creamed spinach topped off a delicious experience. my wife id very picky over wine and the servers gave her a taste of a recommended bottle before we chose it ( she loved it- a French Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits). Overall a stunning and friendly experience.

Went here all excited to celebrate my daughter. The man at the reception was rude and unwelcoming followed by the waiter said even before we ordered we are good to customers that behave!! Lol We left without eating!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat pre-theatre menu
Really nice place to go for dinner before a broadway show. We went before Hamilton and the timing was perfect. The salmon is great and the service are really professional and know what they're doing.
Be the first to ReplyVery bad service and poor food
Very poor service. Did not feel welcome at all , waiters did not seem to like customers. Food below average. Not a place to visit.

Be the first to ReplyOMG, Fantastic!
Fantastic to say the least! Dinning at Lambs Club was one of the best fine dinning experiences my wife and I have ever had. To begin, our server Ava should be given 10 stars for her service. She was fantastic, she paid attention to every detail and was a pleasure to talk with. Lambs Club is pricey but the food quality and service you get is well worth the money. We shared the tuna tartare, a Bibb lettuce salad and the Halibut with mussels, bouillabaisse and saffron. I'm not sure I could go into the city again and not make a return trip to The Lambs Club. Truly a fine dinning experience.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and service!
The atmosphere at this former private club is so nice with the huge fireplace and the mural on the opposite wall. It's also fun to look at all of the pictures on the wall of Broadway stars. This is the perfect place to go before or after a show.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place with a fantastic bartender/mixologist. I’ll be back for sure!
I was waiting on a friend to get ready to explore the city and popped into the lambs club for a drink. I had been told to check it out by some frequent travelers. I was apprehensive when I saw the red doors and couldn’t see into the bar/restaurant from the street level. But I went for it. I’m so glad I did. The bar is small with just four stools but there is ample seating in the room as this is also a hotel. I grabbed a bar seat and had to lovely classic cocktails. The bartender was so friendly and we shared travel stories of Boston and other New England sites and even shared some photos. The vibe of this entire place was really cool. Rat pack-ish. I will definitely be back for cocktails and hopefully to try a full meal. I did get the wings at the bar and I was floored by how perfectly crisp and flavorful they were. Fantastic visit!
Be the first to ReplyThe best restaurant in NYC
The Lamb’s Club is my favorite, all-time restaurant. During my 4, weekend get-always to NYC this year, in which I always stayed at the luxurious Chatwal which adjoins the Lamb’s Club, I chose to have all my breakfasts and dinners at this iconic restaurant. It’s worth experiencing the Lamb’s Club at least once during any visit to NYC, because you’re transported back in time to the great theater era of the early 1900’s. Check out the photos of all the great Broadway actors, producers, and directors along the walls of the restaurant, and learn some fun facts from the restaurant’s host and hostess who are happy to share their knowledge of the history of both the restaurant and Broadway. The menu always has a surprise or two from previous visits. I highly recommend the Blue Crab Orecchiette and the Caramel Apple dessert (this dessert is extremely creative, it’s not what you expect!!! I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but it’s definitely worth ordering!!!)
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, disappointing service
We started our night by seeing the incredible play, “Ain’t no mo” at the Belasco Theater. We were blown away by the acting, writing, and theater energy. We wanted to discuss the play and keep the night going, so we walked over to The Lambs Club. We got a table for two and ordered dirty martinis to start. They were fantastic and we were very excited about what might lay ahead, but unfortunately our servers were not interested in taking our order. There were only about five other tables with customers, so we weren’t being ignored because it was busy. When we finally got a server’s attention, we ordered the crab cakes and beets to start and the Orecchiette and sautéed greens. Again, the food was outstanding. The crab cake had a black truffle sauce that had us licking the plate. The pasta had a perfect mix of chili and cooling mint. 5/5 for food! But for whatever reason the servers continued to ignore us. Maybe they thought we were just cheap tourists? Maybe they truly didn’t want to help? All I know is we — the customers! — had to ask to see the dessert menu and we had to again flag someone down to get another drink. It was such a frustrating experience. We decided to not get dessert and paid our bill and left. Bottom line: great food but really bad service.
Be the first to ReplyGreat pre-show dinner!
Excellent service and very good food. We were here for a pre-show dinner and the server was on top of our timeline. We had the burger and the lamb chops. Both very good!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Celebration Dinner
Firstly it has to be said that for ua it was Ava that made our evening special. We booked last minute, not expecting to get in, but we did. It is a very warm restaurant with panelled walls and open fires. Tables are well spaced, it was not full, but it had a good atmosphere. The food as well as the choice of wines were good. Service from everyone was efficient and friendly. They even presented my parter with a birthday plate which was a nice touch.
Be the first to ReplyTimes Square After-theater Treat
For out-of-town visitors, the Theater District is a magical and slightly challenging culinary neighborhood. With more than 40 active theaters and 200 restaurants within walking distance, the crowds surge along the sidewalks at lunch, dinner and beyond. A hidden gem in the midst of this is The Lamb’s Club, a quiet enclave with a touch of elegance, and a down-to-earth, but pricey selection of appetizers and full meals. We visited after 10 pm following an evening show, based on a tip from locals about the century-old “cultured” atmosphere. For a memorable glass of wine, we chose the Rolland Malbec ($20) and the French pinot noir Moreau Santenay ($24). The Bibb salad was a good size, with bacon, feta, confit tomato, avocado and buttermilk dressing.($23); Crispy lamb shoulder ($18) was modest size but creative. In summary, for late-night, wow your date(s) or favorite family members; seek exotic ethnic or large-sized meals elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyA must pre or post broadway show dinner spot!
People will never remember what you did, but they will remember how you made them feel! This quote summarizes our experience with this restaurant! It’s beautiful and hip! It is located perfectly- dinner before broadway is a must! Shrimp Cocktail yum and steak tartare one of the best ones I had ( and I had many). Expresso martini was done to perfection! Now they did messed up our main course and had to re-do everything for a party of 6 that made us very nervous as we were dining right before broadway show. Because of that we were unable to enjoy all this place has to offer and skipped dessert. However, after our meal we were approached by assistant manager (Asbury Wilkins) who took care of us. He understood our complaints and he cared; he cared to make us feel better! Something beyond a simple we so sorry, he truly impressed us with the generosity he offered. We will be back for more amazing food and this time for dessert!
Be the first to ReplyA delightful pre-theater dinner
Absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is cosy, warm, and welcoming. The red leather seats, beautiful flower arrangements, the fireplace contributed to the very comfortable setting. I had the pre-theater menu, which was impeccable. Very friendly service to complete a perfect evening in New York City.
Be the first to ReplyGood restaurant in the hotel.
The Lambs Club has an old world style to it and it’s somewhat Art Deco feel. Nice service and good food. Comfortable and nice fireplace.
Be the first to ReplyOur meal could not have been better.
We had the recommended selections and they did not disappoint. Excellent food. We were not hurried. The food was wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for Cocktails after seeing a Broadway show
After seeing Hamilton, my wife & I were looking to have a drink. Everyone goes to Juniors for coffee and cheesecake, that's nice but I'm thinking of something more sultry. Enter The Lambs Club.
The restaurant has a cool vibe, we head upstairs towards the bar. The bar looks like a movie set, very long and elegant. The cocktail list looks great but I know what my wife is looking for on her birthday weekend. I order two French 75s.
I see the bartender prepping our drinks, I can tell this guy is a cocktail master. Our drinks come to us quickly. We toast, kiss and sip.
The Lambs Club isn't too far from Broadway. We walked here after our show, something to consider if you're looking for cocktails in a classy setting near Broadway.
Go. Then you can say you went.
I find the idea of The Lambs Club more interesting than the place itself. Very clubby looking, but not clubby enough, The intoxicated youth sitting at the bar next to us didn't help to promote the sense of gentility we were seeking. Bartender got job done efficiently, taking no time out for small talk. Decent enough food, but not for this price point. Short rib ragout was $39. and the portion was tasty, if measly. My companion ordered something odd looking, so I didn't try it (a squash thing?), but he said it was good. Several glasses of good wine cast a happy glow over the event. It's an experience to experience, if you know what I mean.
Be the first to ReplyNot bad, reasonably for New York, great pre theater menu
Charming, upscale ambience. Known for its huge fire place. As I scanned the restaurant, I thought perhaps pretentious, but had a drink and the place warmed up for me. Had the pre theater menu, which is a slight bargain, practically the same price if u ordered from the menu. Warning portions are fair but not overwhelming. Had the salad and salmon. Salmon was perfect. Location is perfect for theater. Already made a reservation for another pre theater show
Be the first to ReplyUpscale but overpriced
Small portions and it is overpriced. Ambiance is nice. Pasta was fresh, Seafood platter was nice. Wasn’t bad at all.
