Heaven Dinner
We had an amazing Bordeaux Wine dinner last night. Chef who seems to have Peruvian origin made a succulent menu with Peruvian twist that was very creative and flavourful. Quality of products were outstanding with special note for the Wagyu Rib eye that was juicy and cooked to perfection with nice smoky note. Each dishes were paired with delicious wine from Bordeaux. It was a set menu including wines so there was no need to look for the right bottle however i looked at their wine list which is one of the most exciting I ve seen in Abu Dhabi with some amazing gems at very attractive prices like this Richebourg DRC 2009 at 2500 €. That might sounds expensive but in fact the wine sell in Europe for over 3500€ in retail so probably twice more in a restaurant and there was many fine wine like this. Service and staff were very good and made our night memorable, dont miss it.

Went there with the family, we honestly enjoyed the food, there is no doubt about that. The staff were nice, overall 10/10. However I feel that we could have the same food quality and experience at other reputable restaurants, with lower prices. If they want to attract a bigger audience, they should definitely revise their pricing (just a suggestion).

This has been one of the best culinary experiences ever! A steak restaurant which also excels in starters as well as mains and service which is par excellence! Ottoman the manager has gone out of his way to ensure we have had a superlative experience and has guided us through the menus every step of the way. Raian (?) and Justin the waiters have been helpful and attentive. Not only that, Raian has been creative is sourcing chocolate fondant and getting the chef to make us creme brûlée which was delicious! The steaks have been cooked to perfection and delivered in a timely manner. We really also enjoyed the starters especially the Lobster Bisque with coconut foam (genius!), crab cakes, beets with sausage and of course the daily amuse bouche, always welcome and always tasty! Can’t omit the focaccia bread loaf either! A superb restaurant in a lovely hotel. Could eat there every night of the week! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and had dinner twice at the forge. The food was very very good and the staff (especially Raiyan and Valentina) was amazing! THANK YOU!

Great food we went twice while staying in the hotel. First time food and service was amazing.think our server was Justin. The second time we went the food was just as good but the service wasn't! Made us laugh how different the two nights were!

What an amazing time we had at the Forge steakhouse situated in the Ritz Carleton Abu Dhabi. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Raiyan and Justin did an amazing job serving us in the restaurant while Victor was top notch in the bar. These three gentlemen made our night. Thank you!

…..our server Raiyan went off shift. We were staying at The Ritz-Carlton so ate here on the recommendation of a fellow hotel guest. And an enthusiastic member of the restaurant staff. The ambience and open kitchen are very appealing and it’s a popular place to eat. Our amuse bouche and the focaccia bread brought to the table were delicious. Our server Raiyan was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended a red wine for me to have with dinner which was excellent. The starter salads we chose were also very tasty. And then, Raiyan disappeared and things went downhill. I ordered the Waigyu beef cheeks. The cheeks were cooked to perfection and fell apart. The sauce was a little sweet for my taste but that’s probably a personal thing. My wife ordered Waigyu steak and triple cooked chips. Her steak arrived…..but no chips. I immediately enquired where they were and there were lots of apologies but by the time they arrived the steak was almost cold and I’d almost finished my main course as my wife had insisted I go ahead and start! The steak was supposed to be medium but was more medium-well. But that may have been due to the time waiting on the chips! In hindsight, if we’d known the chips would take so long, I should’ve waited and we should’ve sent everything back to start again. The next problem arose when we chose desserts. We asked the new server to give us a few minutes before ordering. We actually left it around 15 mins and then when we came to give our order, our choice ( of 5 items on the menu) we were told was unavailable. Why couldn’t we have been told that when handed the dessert menu? Or even during our deliberation? Anyway, a meal of two halves! Which seemed to coincide with Raiyan being our server and then not…..

We are staying at the Ritz Carlton for our Easter break and of all the restaurants we’ve rated at the resort, this one stands out mostly because the service was exceptional even for this hotel’s standards that always delivers amazing service. Alina, our host was so attentive and made my family and I feel at ease straight away. If I’d recommend any of the restaurants to eat in I’d recommend this place not just for the food, but for the excellent ambience and service too!

Impeccable service
The service was impeccable and made our experience. Sheldon was our server and nothing was too much of an ask. Half our party were vegetarian and despite this being a steak restaurant he gave us multiple options such that everyone in our party was thoroughly stuffed at the end of the meal. Hats off to all the servers and chefs, we had a truly memorable meal!

I have left this review a few weeks, to see if this got resolved but unfortunately from our end it didn't and I can only assume we are the unlucky ones!
The food - fantastic.
However, we ordered two starters - one of which the girl had to check if there was any left. Through a miscommunication we thought she had said there wasn't so we ordered something else.
The two starters arrived one of which we thought had sold out! So we were pleased. But the other one (pate) hadn't arrived so we decided to just question that it wasn't going to be coming, as of course it would be too filling to eat all 3 and then have mains.
The girl came back and told us, sorry it is already been started to be made. We explained how we were sorry, explained the miscommunication and if possible we would like to cancel that, as we just want the two.
Anywhere i have ever dined before, this would have never been a problem if there was an error/mistake. The girl came back and said unfortunately, it's going to be coming and it will be added to our bill.
We felt a bit awkward at this point and said could she just tell them again we would be too full, if we have 3 starters (and reiterated the confusion!).
The girl came back again and said, if we are too full we can just leave a bigger gap between the starters and mains so we can basically fit it all in! At this point we explained again and then just accepted it. We felt awkward and to be honest, didn't really want to continue dining there and we could see them discussing this, which made it more of a poor experience for us.
At the end we told the manager that the only downside was the way the starters was handled. As a gesture of goodwill they knocked off the pate starter (which by the way we didn't have in the end!) ... which we thought was quite remarkable, seeing as though we didn't want 3 starters in the first place! So really, we paid full price for what we had.... we didn't get any discount.
The manager did say we could email her and 'sort something out' to come back.
We also must add here, that prior to booking this over email, we did make them aware that we wanted to try this place, so we could bring a party of 12 for a 40th birthday.
A few days later, we got an email asking if we would like to continue booking, as the deposit hadn't been paid (obviously didn't put two and two together!) We ignored this and then got a phone call, to which I explained the situation and what had happened. Funnily it was the same girl on the phone, but she did not make herself known about the situation and she just sort of said "sorry about that"... and that was that! Nothing.
Then we got an email inviting us back, for a bottle of bubbly (which almost felt like it had been left a bit too late).... but at the moment I'm pregnant so not drinking and then there was no follow up from that conversation either!
Unfortunately, customer experience for us is everything. You can eat the most incredible food, but if you feel bad whilst doing so it's not where you go to spend your hard-earned money!
Amazing place
The dinner was outstanding! The staff were very friendly. They made my night an unforgettable one! Our waiter got to know that I collect wine corks so he and the team surprised me with a box full of corks. It was the best surprise ever! We had a great time. We will definitely visit it again!
