Capital grille never disappoints,
Went solo after the Orioles game and ate at the bar. I had lobster bisque on the specials menu. The best lobster bisque I have ever had, had actual chunks of lobster in it. I had the sushi grade tuna as my entree. It was delicious as well. No fat on the tuna. Seared perfectly. I had the creme brûlée for dessert. Lots of mixed berries on top. Best meal I have had in awhile. Great service as always. See ya next time.

Capital Grill is our family’s favorite special night restaurant. The service is top notch and the food is delicious. My boys love the drinks and their steaks. We start off with the seafood towers. The salads and sides are generous portions. We usually order steaks and pork chops. Favorite sides a creamed spinach, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Want to impress your company eat here.

Last night was my first time eating at your restaurant. My family had the best meal ! My son got the Kona rub New York strip and ate every single bite other than what he shared. Truffle fries and cheese cake holy wow! The environment made for an evening we were able to linger and enjoy a long meal and family time. 5 stars to the meal and another 5 stars for Brian and Doni that took the best care of us! Brian provided menu recommendations that were superb ❤️. What a wonderful experience! Thank you 😊

Food and service perfect. Weed smell in the parking garage vicinity and wafting inside ruins a very expensive high quality meal.

I brought a guest and two colleagues from and was deeply disappointed. They could not get us seated and complained that we were 4' late, then let us wait 20' at the bar. We had a table reserved, note. They get us seated and inform us that the kitchen was closing in 3', so we had 2' to order. We order and the steaks are barely average. Finish too strong, slightly overcooked. Sides ok. Rushed service. Overpriced wine. 600 $ bill. I won't be back.

We came to visit Baltimore for a Mets/Orioles game and had dinner here Sunday night. We had the Calamari appetizer, ribeyes, asparagus and a martini and margaritas. The food and drinks were great. My only ding would be that I would like a bit more char on the steak, but that’s my personal preference. Our server Donnie was phenomenal! Friendly, efficient, and so helpful. The complimentary brownie/ ice cream dessert was great and much appreciated.
Be the first to ReplyAnniversary Dinner - Special Treatment!
We made a reservation and specified that it was our anniversary. From beginning to end, the staff made this a special occasion for my husband and me. There was an envelope on our table that said "Thank you for celebrating with us!" A server came by and opened the envelope, showering the table with little hearts. So sweet! We are light eaters, so we shared a salad, the salmon and sauteed spinach. The bread basket was warm and thoroughly tempting. We devoured everything in it: foccacia, sourdough rolls, sweet rolls and crispy crackers. Everything was delicious. We were wondering what to order for dessert, when our server brought us another surprise: a plate with two tasting-sized portions of a creme brulee cheesecake with berries, and a dense chocolate torte with fresh whipped cream, and the words "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate with chocolate syrup. We were delighted with our special treatment and walked out with huge smiles on our faces.

we stopped here for a business dinner. we had reservations and we were seated immediately. We had some nice cocktails. The oysters were fresh and the crabcakes were good. The cauliflower au gratin and asperagus were nice. Steaks and lobster were rich and delicious - they have choices for the entire spectrum of dietary choices. The service is excellent as well. Highly recommended.

How lucky were we that we had a gift certificate for the Capital Grille and used it to celebrate my birthday. What we really like about this restaurant is that they are always consistent in service and quality of the food. The staff had sprinkled the table with sparkly confetti and left a lovely note wishing me Happy Birthday. Our server, Mark Wiedorfer, is the consummate server – he always remembers how we like our steaks prepared – “medium rare plus.” He is so attentive and friendly. They always bring the most delectable hot rolls, onion, rye and lavash bread to the table just after you are seated. We started our dining experience with the Roasted Pear and Gorgonzola salad that had roasted pears, gorgonzola cheese, candied walnuts and dried cherries in a walnut vinaigrette. The salad was crisp and loaded with flavor. My husband savored the 10 ounce Filet Mignon. I chose the 14 oz. Dry Aged New York Strip Au Poivre with Courvoisier Cream Sauce. Mark had the chef go light on the peppercorns. It was just right. Actually, it was so large, I could only eat half of it. We enjoyed a bottle of the Terrazas Altos Malbec. The wine was full bodied, with flavors of berries and figs and was the perfect accompaniment to our steaks. The surprise came at the end of our dinners when they presented me with a Happy Birthday dessert plate. It had the Capital Grille Cheesecake, Flourless Chocolate Expresso Cake and Seasonal Berries. What a lovely presentation and thoughtful gift, it was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect evening. Valet parking is no longer free, it now cost $13.00, but it is so worth it. They put the charge on your bill. It is just nice to pull up and turn your car over to the Valet. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.
