I was underwhelmed.
I asked the waiter about the vegetarian "crabcake benedict" prior to ordering and he did not mention that it comes with only one benedict. It was actually awkwardly funny seeing the plate come out with just one when all other restaurants provide two. The orange waffles my mom ordered were meh. Sorry, but I won't be coming back.

I've had this place bookmarked for a LONG time and finally made it one Thursday afternoon, when I decided to take a mental health day from work. It's on Abbot Kinney, so parking is what it is. I was able to find a space on the street right by the school. Upon arrival, they stated all the tables were reserved, so I sat at the counter (not the bar). The hostess was friendly, and the ambiance is something to take in. There are plants everywhere and enough peeks of natural light that it has an indoor/outdoor vibe. This is a must try...I'll definitely be back.

The breakfast is so great! The decor and ambiance is so beautiful with the lightening and plants. The service was great. The hostess and the waiter were so friendly and nice. We love this spot!
Be the first to ReplyThis place was recommended by this guy off Turo.
Not being from the area it took me a while to find parking which was about a block away. The ambience was nice. You walk in and wait to be seated but I ordered mines too which my order was taken by the host. She recommended this watermelon juice and I got the calamari mushrooms. Let me tell you about these mushrooms because I was not disappointed. Wish I ordered a second order because they were just that good. I highly recommend if you're a calamari/mushroom person.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely horrifying in how they treat guests.
clearly, they think they're too good for creating food on time or being polite when they've made a customer wait for 30 minutes AFTER they texted saying the food was ready OR giving a refund when either of those things happen. Take your business elsewhere if you don't want to feel like a used pawn in the fake ~happy and kind~ atmosphere they provide. my friend and I went here tonight, she absolutely loves the nyc location. we ordered the food 30 min or more ahead of time, and get a text it's ready so we head over. She goes in, they say 8 more minutes. we wait 10, she goes back in, they say 20 more minutes. no this is not a joke. MY FRIEND POLITELY asks for a refund, and they refuse to give one. They don't even give her a manager's email and won't answer their phone. absolutely disgusting, I was hoping to have this be on of my favorite new places.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, fun atmosphere, fun location.
Good service. Delicious combinations. Long lines for the bathroom at brunch.
Be the first to ReplyFood here is good, but the mushroom appetizer is so good.
Oh & the breakfast is definitely a must, however the indoor tables are too tiny and the seats can be uncomfy.

Cute place and good food, but the service was not good at all. I went in on Wednesday for an early lunch by myself and no one came to take my order for over 10 min. I finally flagged someone down and the server decided to tell me that she just got there and the only other server was stuck waiting every other table. I said I totally understand, I would just like to order. She proceeded to be very rude. Not my fault you were late for your shift or the restaurant is understaffed. Sadly the bad service overrode the tasty breakfast burrito I had :/
Be the first to ReplyTried this place for the first time recently.
We got the mushroom calamari, margherita pizza, and the butchers burger. On average, the food was okay but not particularly memorable for heavier taste. The mushroom calamari was certainly the highlight. Flavorful, crispy, rivaling if not better than real calamari. We scarfed it down quick and we could've had two plates of that. Margherita pizza and the burger were very bland. I would not recommend this if you want any flavor. The pizza, I couldn't distinguish from microwaved supermarket pizza. The dough was stale. The burger was similarly tasteless even relative to non-meat burgers even if the ingredients between the bun stuck perfectly to each other. Given the prices, was not worthwhile. The ambience is nice and suitable for a date. Dimly lit and service you'd expect for a place at Venice. I wouldn't mind going back if a friend really wanted to, but probably wouldn't make a proactive effort by myself.

The perfect brunch is the mimosa flight with your choice of juice, with the breakfast egg sandwich. SUCH great food. Perfect ambiance. Relatively quick service! This is my go to when I want a bit of a fancy brunch or if I have some friends staying with me from out of town. It's very "LA" :-)

Food is great! Took my vegan friend here and lots of great options for us to choose from. The ricotta zucchini pizza was very yummy - I really thought it did have cheese on it! It was a great blend flavors and tasted really fresh. The kale Caesar salad was really good - think they used baby kale which was a nice change from other restaurants. I also liked the dressing they made. The "calamari" was good, lots of pieces didn't have anything in it though. Lastly, matcha chocolate cake was very yummy - not too sweet which I like in a dessert and just the right amount of creaminess in between chocolate cake layers!
Be the first to ReplyThe most obnoxious place I've ever been to.
We got sat down to a very small table and I got up to look for a better table and the hostess asked me to sit down. We got up and left.

A popular and cute place to brunch or have dinner with friends or someone special! The vegetarian menu is enjoyable but what made our experience so memorable was our smiling and knowledgeable server, Camille!! She gave us such great recommendations and will be the reason why we come back! ASK FOR CAMILLE'S SECTION WHEN YOU DINE!
Be the first to ReplyLove the place for years - and I am not vegetarian.
I was unhappy with my most recent visit, though. First, 2% of the check were being added without even being told - let alone asked. OK. Then the place suggests a minimum tip of twenty percent - gotta understand, everything got more expensive these days. I understand: the meal gets more expensive - then the staff gets more tips as the check gets higher. But I do not want to spoil the game; I give twenty percent. Then, on the check, the restaurant suggests tipping even more. C'mon, guys, things get more expensive for me too - and I still have the same paycheck. As much as I like the place - and accept the attitude they show at times - this is horrible customer service.

I have a good feeling about this place, but I think I just had bad luck for my first visit. It was packed, though a server was kind enough to find me a spot to sit on the outdoor patio. I probably would've had to wait if I didn't wander in there solo. I ordered the coconut yogurt with persimmon, and something about the food had a very odd mouthfeel and aftertaste. I suspect it was the preparation of the persimmon. I was a bit bummed since I'm a big fan of fruit and yogurt bowls. I went ahead and asked for a side of granola to try masking the oddity before me, which took me a while to secure amidst the busy waiters. I ultimately had to leave some of the yogurt, and most of the persimmons, uneaten. I believe the toppings for the yogurt bowl change with the seasons, so it may be a safe item if topped with berries or something of the like. This place has some enticing menu items otherwise, so maybe I'll have to try it again if I'm in the area.
Be the first to ReplyReally good food, especially the pizzas.
Lots of juice options. Surprisingly good kids menu.
Be the first to ReplyVery cute space but disappointing service and food.
Our server was super chatty with the table beside us and got behind and never checked in with us after our food was dropped off. The waffle is quite dense and my egg white on my avocado toast was raw and slimy. The egg add on was removed from our bill.

Loved the decor of the restaurant and food quality wasn't bad at all ( I ordered their burger with gluten free buns ). This one star is for waiter Gustavo S his style of service is very rude, aloof and cold we didn't understand the rotten attitude he displayed towards us ( we were a party of two ) and at the end when it was time to pay the bill he wasn't open to allowing us to pay with cash and insisted that we pay with a card and obviously we were forced to leave a 20% or above tip though his level of service and attitude barely even deserved an eighteen percent tip. So disappointed in being treated so poorly by the service staff member Gustavo S that we will definitely think twice before returning back ever. Also their lattes are overpriced we got oat iced lattes and paid over $6 for a pretty small sized glass.
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is great.
The pizza is my fav! I'm not a vegetarian but still love coming here for the burgers, and pizza. The mushroom truffle pizza (mixed mushroom not the one with egg) is SO good!! They also have an Apple/cheese type pizza that was insane. Pure passion smoothie - really good! Filling so I would get it to go or with something light Good quality food and tastes fresh.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is so dirty.
Their tin water cups are disgusting. Also there was a hair in the cut jalapeรฑos . Too bad because their pizza is ok. And it has a nice crowd.

This restaurant is super cute! With both inside and outside seating. A small menu but lots of great healthy options. A little on the pricier side but that was to be expected.

The juice was weird and tasted like carrots, and the service was slow and disappointing. We had to wait half an hour in the sweltering heat just to place an order.
Be the first to ReplyGood not great - quite overpriced for what it is.
Burrito needed more crunch and it was pretty bland. For ~$34 def not worth it. Would go for the atmosphere though!
Be the first to ReplyWe were a group of 4 hoping to eat lunch on Sunday.
We put our name down for a table at 1, were quoted a 1hr wait. 1.5hrs go by so we walk back to check in on how far down the list we still were. We were told there were 4 tables ahead of us including "reservations that haven't been seated yet" so it would be another 30 minutes and they would text me when our table was ready. At this point its 2:30. At 3:40 we've run out of activities to distract our friends who are in town visiting. We are about to give up but we walk back over to see a 4-person group walk in and immediately be sat (no waitlist no reservation). I ask the host what's going on I didnt get a text and she gives me an annoyed look and lazily gestures to one of the (now many) open patio tables and says "you can take that one". For the service to be this abysmally low, I was hoping the food would make up for it. It was just fine, which for the wait and the price point it was disappointing. The only real selling point seems to be location and being a vegetarian restaurant, so kind of tourist-trappy. There are a million great places to eat in LA, so won't be returning or recommending to friends.
Be the first to ReplyI come here all the time, live three blocks away.
This morning everyone before and after me has been seated they said 20 min it's been over an hour. Nothing like being discriminated against.
