Overcharge
Been going to this rest. for yrs & have seen customer service deteriorated. Tonight I ordered a $27. dish, we were a group of 4. Luckily I cked & saw I was charged $85. for my $27. dish . After bill was โ correctedโ then saw overcharge in my drink. Totally unacceptable. Hope owner sees this & makes mandatory for staff be held accountable.

It's too bad they discontinued their Sunset menu. In doing so they have lost my business & I'm sure I'm not the only consumer who feels this way
Be the first to ReplyMy worst experience ever here
I have been to Tavolino della Notte a few times and had very good experiences. I went on a Sunday night and it appeared they were having a private party in the bar. It was SO Loud! And the hostess left the door open each time she entered the main dining room. The table next to me and I kept having to take turns getting up to shut the door. Also, my wife ordered the scallops. The scallops had a strong fish odor (scallops are not supposed to smell). My wife made the mistake of eating two of them before sending them back (they did not taste good either). Unfortunately, it was too late and she was sick to her stomach for two days.

I live here and this was the best meals I have had in many outings to restaurants. Bravo to the chef. I will be back and I thank you for a wonderful evening

Cami was our waitress. She did an amazing job looking after the 3 of us. We sat outside which was perfect. We decided to have appetizers and share the pasta with gravy sauce. Calamari and mussels in red sauce were delicious. The calamari melted in your mouth. There was so much food we had to bring some home. We will be going back on a regular basis hoping that Cami will be our waitress again. We felt really well looked after. Thank you.

Miss the original owner โฆ way overpriced drinks .. food decent โฆ misled when received bill - they charge a 20% entertainment fee without letting you know โฆ not the same Tavolinos Iโve been to for 20 years
Will nor be back !

Very crowded. They seem to want to stuff as many into the place as possible BRING YOUR EARPLUGS... If you are going to sit near where the band is, you wil NOT be able to communicate without shouting into your fellow diners' ear. They recently opened up a "dance floor" by removing one table from the front of the band stand. If you book, tell them NOT to put you there, since you'll most likely be knocked about in your chair by the "dancers". Food is great. Valet parking takes up the prime spots, so you'll have to park a block away if you don't valet, no big deal.
Be the first to ReplyFood was average and service horrible
The food was good but the service was awful, very disappointed our server โFelipeโ did not care at all and didnโt answer any questions we had about menu and acted like tired, upset, mad at the world only taking care of 2 tables around 3pm. Not even rush hour or weekend.

I went here because of an item on their menu that I really wanted to eat. It was the Rigatoni Bolognese. When you enter the restaurant you enter through the bar and walk up to the hostess stand. I told them I was a party of 1 and they asked if I had reservations to which I said no. They said my only option was to sit at the bar to which I accepted. As I was starting to sit down I realized that there was no way I could sit through a meal with the incredibly loud music that was playing in the dance area. I asked about sitting outside even though it was a little hot outside. The hostess then advised that I would be able to get a table in the restaurant to which you enter through a set of doors right behind them. I was seated at a 2 person table and was promptly given bread and water. I knew what I wanted since i had read the menu online but I still had to wait about 10 minutes before I was able to place my order and even then it was via the person who brought the bread and water and not my waiter. I had to ask her for the waiter and she asked me if there was something wrong and I told her I wanted to order.
After I gave her my order another customer seated at the table next to me said that he could tell the owner was not there and I asked if they had slow service too to which he said yes.
My food was prepared fast and I found it to be good, not great. It was very hot and there was plenty of sauce and noodles.
There is light music playing in the restaurant but it was drowned out by the loud bass from the bar even though it was separated by a wall. There were times a hostess would enter the restaurant and leave open the door which only let in the loud music. I can't image sitting at one of the tables near that door.
I would not return again.
An Awrsome Restaurant
We had the fried Brie appetizer awesomely tasty and the positano mussels out of sight.
Then the Vitello Asiago yum.
The music was the Groove and very good !!
Happy Hour
My BF and I stopped in for happy hour on Saturday, it was great because most places do not do happy hour on weekends. The service was excellent and the food is to die for. Our server Heller was amazing, he was very knowledgeable about the menu, great asset to the restaurant. Also, it was great to see so much young people working there big plus to management ๐๐พ. We had the carrot cake for dessert best I ever had, hope they keep it on the menu because I would go back just for that (smile) am going back real soon. It was our first time eating there and we make a fantastic choice.
Be the first to Reply85th birthday and 24th anniversary dinner
The four of us are still shy about eating inside, so we specified in our reservation that we wanted outside and in the shade(because the man from the anniversary couple had cancer surgery on his face that day and could not be in the sun). The hostess tried to seat us in the sun. When told we could not be there she made a face and gave us a different table. We smelled tobacco smoke. We were told, not nicely, that it is OK to smoke outside and that we would just have to put up with it. So, granted we started off on the wrong foot. Then, one of the main courses listed was not available (and it was a standard in Italian restaurants). The food was good, not exceptional, for the price. No mention, even a congrats, on our two special occasions. We will go back to Pasta And next time
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Overpriced Food!
This was a group of couples for a night out. Unfortunately, the so called Italian food and appetizers were extremely disappointing. We all had dinners at this restaurant over the years, and it appears that new owners & chef/ bad cooks have taken over. The cooks need retraining on how to prepare and present entrees on appropriate dinner ware not little dishes they used to heat food up in. They should visit a REAL Italian Restaurant for some very needed pointers. Additionally, they are now serving Spanish appetizers at an Italian Restaurant. Overpriced and poor service!
Be the first to ReplyBirthday Lunch
Went to Tavolino Della Norte for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for my mother in lawโs 78th birthday. We are six and reserved Nonaโs Kitchen which is a quaint room and provides a little more social distancing from the rest of the restaurant. They were practicing safe standards as tables were spread at least six feet apart which is very different than past visits. There is outdoor seating weather permitting. Michael was our server and he did a great job making sure we were taken care of and kept his mask on at all times. He provided great service without being over bearing. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I understand the restaurant recently changed owners but the food is just as good as always. We had crispy calamari and a large antipasto as appetizers. Both excellent and generous portions. Lunches were mussels, linguini with clams, lobster ravioli and a wedge salad with blackened shrimp. Everything was outstanding and I would definitely return. They offer bottomless mimosa or bloody Maryโs for $10.00 on Saturday and Sunday Brunch with the order of an entree. The birthday girl had the mimosa and she had quite the good time. Thanks Michael for making our special occasion the best !!!
