Cabeza burrito was amazing.
You won't regret it, and don't forget napkins because the cabeza meat was so juicy and moist. Finger licking good. Quick service also with plenty of street parking around the neighborhood

- short wait!- ordered through Snackpass - tacos: ordered the carne asada taco, fish taco, and the chicken taco. All the tacos were filled very well. The carne asada and chicken tasted very good, the fish taco was a little dry and you couldn't really taste the fish. - burrito bowl: ordered the vegetarian burrito bowl and it was really delicious! The red salsa wasn't spicy but still good. Would definitely come back for a quick meal

We ordered through Doordash and was happy with the quickness of delivery and quality of food overall. Their tacos were the star. Each taco has double tortillas and they don't skimp on the filling. I thought the tacos looked small at first, but was surprised that 2 tacos filled me up.What we ordered:+ Carnitas burrito - good but a little dry. Needed salsa.+ Al Pastor burrito - this was huge and I'm not sure why it was so much bigger than the carnitas burrito. Seems like there's a size consistency issue. But not complaining because this was really good. Great flavor throughout. Rice has a sweet pineapple-y flavor.+ Chorizo taco - yummy meat with crunchy bits.+ Pescado (fish) taco - I wasn't too sure about this when I see that the fish is not a filet but diced up fish, but I can't deny that it tasted good. But still would prefer a filet of fish.+ Chips & Gauc - chips were good, but the gauc was weird. There was hardly any avocado taste. More like sour cream and lime with a little avocado blended it.

Really good tacos! Slightly on the spicier side, but not too much so. Apparently this is Steph Curry's favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm not surprised!

Was surprised how quickly my order was made and picked up. Everything was so fast and efficient here. Packaging was good and there was no mess, even with the open faced tacos. I was very impressed that the tacos held up over transit and didn't get soggy either, even with the toppings! The burritos were pretty standard, mostly just rice, beans and meat. The meat was really flavorful and I love the crispy bits in the carnitas. Some bites were pretty spicy. I was disappointed that it didn't come with salsa on the side which I usually like for dipping my burrito. The tacos looked better and had more flavor. Chips and guac were standard too. Overall everything was pretty good, though a little on the plain side. The star is the meats they use, which contains all the flavor. Would probably go back again to try more tacos. I don't think I would order burritos from here again.
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed.
Got a so called super steak burrito that has little to no cheese and the sour cream is non existent. Really dry burrito, steak tasted almost over cooked. $13 for a burrito that has nothing "Super" about it is crazy honestly Lessened learned stick to taco trucks that I know .
Be the first to ReplyVery mid.
15 dollars for a carne asada burrito is EXPENSIVE and for the size of the burrito (a little below average), it isn't worth the price point.I ordered cilantro and onions with my burrito, and my burrito should've came with cheese and sour cream, but for some reason, only the ends of the burrito had sour creams and onions and the rest of the burrito was half meat and half rice. The burrito was very dry, but salsa helps with it. I also ordered spicy carrots, and those were not picked or seasoned at all. I keep on coming back to give tacos sinaloa another chance, but I think this will be my last try. Time and time again, they forget some aspect of my order (salsa, drink, etc) and with mid food, I would much rather eat some of the other better food options in southside Berkeley.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is no nonsense, no frills, and good, but food
The food is no nonsense, no frills, and good, but food portions are extremely extremely small. The taco tortillas are like maybe 3 1/2 inches wide? The other difficulty with dealing with them is there's no option to add toppings or communicate with the restaurant when you are DoorDashing them, so if you have any food allergies, you are SOL. Decent no frills if you are in a hurry, don't expect anything fancy and their packaging tends to be flimsy.

Needed a quick bite before sitting in traffic on my way home. A quick search for "tacos" landed me at Tacos Sinaloa. With a name like that I had the little emoji where the smile is all wobbly. I had questions! Is the food going to be good? Is it located in a safe part of town. Mannnn, never judge a book by the name. Always go based on the book cover. Duh. I am so glad I took a chance. * Vegetarian BurritoI requested it cut in half. No problem. I asked for extra salsa. Sure! The burrito was delicious. I can't wait to enjoy the other half for lunch tomorrow. Staff is super friendly. I assume most are college students at Cal Berkeley. I put 18 minutes in the meter and returned with 8 to spare. Parking was easy to find around the corner.

Used to love coming here as a student, but unfortunately in December 2022, there was a SCREW in my burrito. Specifically on December 10th. Luckily my boyfriend used a knife and fork to cut his burrito and a screw literally fell out. We were thankful he didn't bite into the burrito and accidentally swallow it. The other two burritos we ordered were fine and still delicious. We were just really disappointed that this happened.
Be the first to ReplyARRIBA tacos sinaloa! Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp
ARRIBA tacos sinaloa! Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp burrito and talk about exploding flavors! the chicken was not dry and the shrimp were a good decent size! Good amount of rice, beans, cheese and sour cream with jalapeños on the side! Amazing flavor. can't wait to try other things on the menu! Decent in cost as well! Definitely a great spot in Berkeley.
Be the first to ReplyYeah the burrito is tremendous.
Like bring 2 friends tremendous. No crazy frills. Just excellent essentials. Carnitas is the best

Okay I'm packing for vacation and I'm stressed and overwhelmed and just decided on takeout/DoorDash for a late dinner. I asked kiddo what she wanted and we agreed on a carnitas burrito, and 2 each of the pollo, carne asada and pastor tacos. Omg the pastor had this amazing smokey and kinda sweet flavor!! It reminded me of some really amazing bbq ribs with a semi sweet bbq sauce. I've never tasted a pastor quite like it, usually they're a bit more savory. This was a wildly different sense of taste but still very, very good. And not dry at all. The pollo had a good flavor. The chicken was moist and tender. A lot of chicken can get over cooked or have bland flavor and this didn't. I really enjoyed it.Carne asada taco dressed up - no thx
Be the first to ReplyBest carnitas I've ever had.
They put the carnitas on the grill and they turn crispy without getting dry. The regular burrito with carnitas is delicious with the melted cheese and rice and beans. The al pastor is pretty good too. Spicy with good flavor. The tacos are a bit expensive ($2.75 each) but you get a lot of meat and they are a bit larger than usual street tacos. I like how they grill the tacos and meat to perfection. They even grill the burritos so it's nice and toasted. The pickled veggies on the side are great, the jalapeños are spicy and the carrots and radish are refreshing. I like getting strawberry horchata, they mix the fresa agua fresca with their horchata. I've gotten the shrimp tostada and fish taco before but I'd pass on those. The fish is grilled rather than fried like in most fish tacos. The carnitas is definitely the star at this place.
Be the first to ReplyWhy do they need text here? Absurd.
The stars should speak for themselves. Scrumptious greasy affordable tacos.

This location is definitely not my favorite due to the truncated menu. The Oakland location. Is much, much better and more diverse. We visited yesterday and unfortunately our order was partially canceled due to them not having enough ingredients for the coctel in their menu , and then 4 of our tacos were the wrong order and my daughter was left with no food (they accidentally gave us an order with crazy hot salsa doused all over the food). We didn't notice the mistakes until we got home. We will still with the Oakland location.
Be the first to ReplyIt was the longest day of the year (aka summer solstice)
It was the longest day of the year (aka summer solstice) and it was also going to be the hottest day of the week. What does that equal? My intense craving for tacos! We love TS and the OG Oakland location was too far for us to drive in the heat so we opted to try a different location. To our surprise, they have a spot near the UC Berkeley campus!! Like an actual storefront vs. the food trucks that we've been visiting all these months. Who knew!!?Food: 4/5 - still my favorite taco spot in the East Bay BUT taking one star off because the quesadilla was too oily for my liking. The tacos are 5/5 for me!Service: 3/5 - they forgot to add salsa and a few other requests we made. It was HOT inside and the workers didn't look so happy (I can't blame them) and we didn't check before leaving. May be a hit or miss. Location: 5/5 - compared to their OG Oakland location, there's a lot of street parking and there's multiple parking garages nearby. It's also close to BART and the bus. Mood: if you want street tacos and you're up for an adventure to pick some up in Berkeley, then this is the spot! This is not it if you want a whole vibe and to sit down and have an unlimited salsa bar. We'll be back when my taco cravings hits again!
Be the first to ReplyJust what I wanted, tacos from a truck.
No one could decide on where to get food from, when I found this on yelp. There is outside seating, but we took them to go. Pastor Tacos and Carne Asada Tacos were my choice. Both very flavorful tasted fresh, which is important to me. Bottom line, if have a craving for tacos, this is where you go.

The best tacos in the Bay!!Michelin recommended and apparently Stephen Curry's favorite taco truck as well. First time trying it out even though I went to UC Berkeley, and man I missed out.. But I guess I save a lot of money not knowing about this place then LOLService was amazing, she said they have special deals for cal students as wellCarne asada taco (4.5/5) was so flavorful. Carnitas (5/5) was fried to perfection. It was so crispy. I couldn't wait to eat it so I burned my fingers (so you know it's fresh!)
Be the first to ReplyDelicious.
I order the shrimp burrito every single time and it's delicious every single time. They are not shy with the shrimp, everything is always fresh, hot and perfect. My go-to burrito spot.

Tacos: carnitas very good, chirizo ok, fish was crisp on one side and cubed. ( nice), chicken good. Carrots on side were a little dried out. Burrito bowl : with carnitas. Good job of mixing crispy and moist. Only bad was the carrots Burrito looks good. Horchata -- a bit on the sweet side and too much ice.

Food was a little pricey, but it's pretty similar to other restaurants in the area, due to location. The burritos were a good size and delicious. Most of us got the shrimp burrito which had a good amount of whole shrimp. Someone in our party ordered the Chile relleno burrito and it was very good. Who would have thought to put a Chile relleno in a burrito with rice and beans?! They did, obviously. Great idea! The restaurant isn't huge and there isn't a lot of room for seating, but the food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the workers were very helpful getting what we needed. I'd go back again.

Pro tip: order on snackpass! My boyfriend and I got 20% off on the burritos since we went during happy hour, and drinks were $2 off. The beef head burrito was super tasty. I liked it better than the spicy pork, which had a flavor I just wasn't used to. Cheese pulls galore! They didn't skimp on the meat. I liked the strawberry horchata since it was really refreshing in the beginning, but then it got too sweet. If I could, I'd ask for 50% sweetness. I gave this place 4 stars because they didn't add the sides we asked for, like cilantro + onions and lime. Make sure to check your order before you leave the restaurant! Also they wrote in red ink on the aluminum so we would know which burrito was which, but it rubbed off on my fingers and the outside of my burrito. Sadge :(
