Best BBQ Experience in Las Vegas
Amazing smoked barbecue! Very tasty and tender meat. It has a variety of beers and great service. Very friendly staff.

The best BBQ ever!! The meat on the pork ribs just fell apart so deliciously. I am not a fan of pork ribs, but I definitely want to go back for more next time I am in Vegas. This was the best dining experience my husband and I had the whole week we were in Vegas. The server was so kind and attentive, and the food was beyond delicious. The price was reasonable, but nowhere in Vegas is it cheap to eat anymore! The Texas Twinkies - jalapenos stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon - were so good, I am going to attempt to make them myself. Too bad we had plans, because the local live band that was warming up to play Reggae music sounded great. Cannot wait for next year to return - this restaurant is a definite place we will visit again!
Be the first to ReplyHigh Quality, Non-Casino BBQ
In an attempt to get away from the Strip's and Downtown's highly-engineered customer experiences, we visited Soulbelly to get a taste of non-casino fare. The premises is visually interesting -- you're greeted by two really large smoking chambers in the courtyard just off the sidewalk. The restaurant decor has a country flavor, and the menu, while not overwhelming in its number of choices, has representation of the expected food groups. We had the brisket (FANTASTIC -- tender, smoky, and juicy) with cornbread, and the pulled pork with cornbread. Choice of 4 sauces, none remarkable but the NC vinegar-style was the best of the lot. The service was a little in-your-face -- we wanted time to catch up without being upsold at every attempt. Note: Each meal was $18.00 ... kind of pricey for BBQ, but it was tasty and non-casino, so we paid it willingly. Hope to make this a regular stop on our visits to Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Texas style BBQ
Last year I visited all 50 of the Texas Monthly Magazineโs Top-50 BBQ restaurants across Texas. It was an epic undertaking. So, Iโm still no pro taster, but Iโve had some good BBQ. Let me tell you: this place is good! If it were in the right state, it should have even been on the list!! I really, really, really enjoyed this. Came on a week night and wish we could have been there when a band was playing. Lots of people but certainly room for us. The pits were out front and the place looked EXACTLY like a BBQ joint should. Well done! Staff was engaged, good, fun - this is the spot. Then the food. Took it up even another notch. Had a Shiner Boch to wash everything down because whatโs better with BBQ? Started with the fried Mac & cheese which was explosively good. I went with the turkey sandwich. It was amazingly good, but after trying my friends brisket I did an order mistake!! Both were tremendous. For sides I went with beans. Not the typical Texas Charro beans. More east coast baked beans which I love and prefer. Also went with the slice of corn bread. It was ok, for the price I wouldnโt have done it again. Overall this was a phenomenal experience and taste that I highly recommend!

As a food lover I was seriously looking forward to visiting Soulbelly BBQ. My trip made me hate eating. I didn't think it was possible but I spent $50 plus tip (in advance) and left disappointed, disenfranchised and worse of all hungry. Food would need to improve to be considered sub par. Avoid unless you hate your taste-buds and or belly.
Be the first to Reply$100 for grey fatty barbecue.
We had seen the place online and thought we would try it out. When we arrived we were told it was a celebration for their birthday event and they had 5 chefs doing barbecue. We thought that may be good. The staff on the door charged us $100 for both of us to enter, we were presented with tip options starting at 25% when we have only walked into the place. I thought this was pretty crazy but assumed it was a eat and drink kind of event and there was live music so we went with it. We were given paper plates and pointed to the end of the table. The barbecue was the very end of a pig roast. Grey looking meat fatty and unpleasant I had one bite and didn't have more, considering this is a barbecue joint it was pretty poor. Sides were nothing special, cold scooped macaroni salad, no potato options at all, a cube of mac and cheese and chop suey. This was a pretty poor show for $100+ the price didn't even cover a drink. It wasnt even as good as barbecue you'd get in a relatives back yard. Incredibly disappointing. Maybe their normal menu is worth it but it was pretty grim.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ribs and Pork Belly
Always looking for somewhere good to eat near decent beer and this place on Brewery Row fits the bill . Went twice , first time had the pork belly , second time the cheesesteak special . Both were excellent . I like dark beers so got mine from HUDL next door but my brother was happy enough with Shiner Bock .
Be the first to ReplyOut of control tip suggestion
This BBQ place had a starting tip suggestion on their handheld payment machine at 25%! TWENTY FIVE PERCENT STARTING. In what universe do businesses have such audacity? That alone knocks this place down to a 3 star. The waitress stands there as you examine the bill on the handheld device and then you need to take it from her hand to enter in a custom tip amount if you don't want to pay 25%+ tip on what I assume is the taxed total. How is it that when I travel to Europe or New Zealand, they also have corporate greed "inflation" and yet somehow pay their staff a living wage without tips? A HALF POUND of brisket without sides starts at $19. A large side of potato salad is $16. It's not as if prices are so cheap that it's basically a charity and the tip is in exchange for a subsidized meal. The service was standard. No complaints, except for the gall of asking for such a high tip without even the courtesy to allow us to look over the bill and discuss privately. My husband and I had the: $9 hatch chile & cheddar cheese sausage link $19 half pound brisket $8 small side of potato salad $16 BBQ Basics Boubon Glazed Pork Belly sandwich with a side of watermelon salad. $5 Blake's El Chavo Cider That's $57 pre tax (+$4.77 at 8.38% sales tax), and yet this place is asking for a nearly $15 tip to walk out 2 plates of food and a can of cider. You even fill your own water cups from a carafe on the table! It's offensive. As a Celiac, this place does not have a marked menu but apparently they use tamari in their BBQ sauces. They use a shared fryer for their flour-coated tobacco onions, so if you need to eat gluten free, anything from the fryers is a no-go. Potato salad was apparently gluten free, as were the meats except for the glazed pork belly. We really enjoyed the food. The smokers are in the front of the restaurant and you can watch food being put in to smoke from your tables either inside or out. There is also an area for live music and a full bar. 4 stars would be a marked menu for gluten free options and to remove 25% as the initial tip suggestion. Visited May 2023.

My bbq pork sandwich was so spicy. I took 1 bite and couldn't eat it. I've never had a bbq sandwich that was so spicy I couldn't taste the meat or the bun! My son took it home because he likes hot, spicy, jalapeno flavors. I didn't see anything on the menu that says the pulled pork sandwich is marinated or cooked in hot sauce!
Be the first to ReplyBBQ was great! (So were the sides)
I tried the pulled pork which was good, but the brisket was amazing! As for the sides, the mac 'n cheese and seasoned fries were also great choices.
Be the first to ReplyOMG such good food!!
Hit this place for late lunch. It was awesome... most notably the beef brisket and cornbread with honey butter ๐ We could not decide what to try so we made our own sampler with lunch deal options and shared amongst 2 persons. Looks like it could be a fun place with live music in the evenings on some nights. Jasmine was an excellent server/bartender!!
Be the first to ReplyOk food so so service
Slow service and food ok. We ordered the grill cheese sandwich and the fried mac and cheese balls. Cheese balls came first and it was a lengthy amount of time before we received our sandwich. I went up to server area to check on order and was told it was still being prepared. Ordered 2 glasses of wine and Roxanne (bartender) barely poured an inch into the glass. We noticed on the way out a different bartender poured a โfairโ portion given the price. Iโve had a much better portion at a show on the Strip.
Be the first to ReplyJust as good the second time
This was my second time to Soulbelly and it was just as good the second time. The brisket and pork ribs are really good. We wanted the Pastrami Tri-tip but they had just run out. The pulled pork is good, with a vinegary kick. We'll have to come back to get the pastrami next time we're in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyNot impressed
The service was ok, the location is spacious. The pork ribs where good, the nachos, ok, but, the potato wedge fries were over seasoned and not tasty at all. We gave our food away. Disappointed.

Soulbelly BBQ in Las Vegas is a great place to go for quality BBQ and sides. I really like the way everything is prepared here and have been impressed with all of the purchases that I have made from here. Good overall experience every time I have been here.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent BBQ but that's all
Upside: Had the sliced brisket. It was excellent. Close but not quite the level of Franklin's in Austin. Also had potato salad. It was better than most but not stellar. Downsides: They only offer an online menu and it is poorly designed: 1) They don't tell you how much brisket you will get. 2) Many of the items have no description at all. 3) If you turn your phone to landscape mode, the menu's design keeps the top half of the screen frozen so the scrollable part is unusable. Finally, although it is the restaurant's choice, they did not offer a "bbq plate" with meat and a couple of sides or a 2-meat or 3-meat combo plate. Many folks are used to ordering that. Server came over only once, to deliver the food. Never checked to see if we needed anything. I was not offered water; I had to go to the bar area to ask for water and was directed to the soda station. Only when I got there did I see that they had what I assume were water glasses. The staff didn't seem to care at all. My wife's margarita was undrinkable but there was no one to complain to. She prefers a no-salt rim but it came with salt because there is no way when you order through your phone to specify that you don't want salt. It was also incredibly sour. When the order was delivered, I got a paper cup and I assumed I was supposed to get my own drink although nothing was said. Our food took quite a long time, given that we only ordered 1 order of brisket and 1 side of potato salad. It was all ready to go in the kitchen; there's no cooking. But they seemed to take forever. This was a Tuesday night, early. The place was almost full but not overflowing. If a restaurant can't deliver food promptly, don't seat the customer. Being short-staffed is not a valid excuse. Again, if you're having trouble meeting your standards, have customers wait to be seated. If your place is otherwise good, we're fine with that. The 2 items were delivered on the same type of tray as everyone else was using. And that's all. No plates. No utensils. No napkins. Those items should have already been at the table. I had the foresight to quickly ask for these items as soon as the tray was set down for fear of never seeing anyone again. We were provided with 2 flimsy paper plates and 2 sets of cheap plastic utensils wrapped in a napkin, as if this was a takeout order. A quick look at other tables revealed that no one else was using paper and plastic. We were the chosen few. Not knowing any of this beforehand and having read rave reviews about the food, I added a healthy tip to the bill when I ordered the meal, 30 minutes before. I was not happy that I had I had to tip the staff before the meal started we received absolutely no service. It does look like the staff was taking much better care of the larger groups. We were basically ignored. I would only order takeout from this place. I would never eat in again.
Be the first to ReplyTasty barbecue in downtown
Almost everything is great at Soulbelly, as there are a plethora of meats to choose from along with a live stage for musical acts. In addition, there is a full bar and the place is sandwiched by two craft breweries. The meatloaf melt is a delicious gem, and I enclosed a photo to illustrate that fact.

Had seen this place during a visit to Vegas last year, told ourselves to try it when there again. Very, very good barbecue. Sat out doors, had a flight of beer from the brewery right next door. There are breweries on either side of the place. this is located in the arts district, so if your on the strip, you will need to rideshare, or get a bus pass, which is by far the cheapest way to get around.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible customer service
I waited for an order of nachos for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I had to ask twice about the delay and the staff seemed to not care in the least.
Pleasant Employees
This restaurant is located in the renovated Las Vegas Arts District. Seating is benches and long tables. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your numbered table. The posted menu was a little confusing. They have a standard menu and daily specials. The restaurant also has a full bar and live music later in the evening. The pork sandwich portion was very generous. Every employee we encountered was genuinely nice. It was good to be there.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious, awesome BBQ and cold beer.
Great BBQ. I got 2 meats, 2 sides....warning too much food. I had burnt ends and brisket. The brisket was soooo tender. I loved it.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced, small servings
My first time at soul belly. Ribs were dry and not meaty, Fatty brisket was good and moist. Collard greens was to vinegary and beans were just so so. will go back one more time to try the pork belly, pulled pork and sausage. My go to place is still rolling smoke
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the cost for a Christmas / holiday meal
Pre-ordered the food. Extremely disappointed with the amount. $193 for such meager amounts. The cranberry sauce was in a to go lidded container you'd get your side of dressing in at a restaurant for a salad. That should be enough for 4-6 people? The ham was good, but not near enough of it.
I was so astonished at the small amount that I felt trapped for our holiday meal. So I ordered $71 more food on the spot. I would next time get the pulled pork pound for $24 and make my sides at home or get the microwaveable sides in grocery store refrigeration section.
I even got 2 cookies by the counter, there was no price. and the 2 "everything good cookie bars" cost $12!!!!! $12 for 2 cookies!
not worth it. how did they look me in the eye and not just laugh. The cookies and the basket they were in did not have a price, Go figure.
Great barbecue
The brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly were very good. Full of flavor and the brisket was most and pulled right apart with a fork. The side pickles and red onion was tasty as well. Had the tater salad and Mac and cheese as sides. Both very good. Relatively quiet on a Wednesday but itโs also right before Christmas. Good bar selection.
