The service was impeccable and the steaks were out of this
The service was impeccable and the steaks were out of this world!!! We got the bone-in rib eye and the grass fed filet. The rib eye was deliciously cooked to perfection. Sorry I didn't take a photo which I should have but we couldn't stop enjoying the food.

) with wait staff to match. The ambience was nice in our private area complete with brick walls and giant chandeliers. They made our family dining experience a night to remember.
Be the first to ReplyGood food but way, way over priced.
You could eat at a regular steakhouse like Ruth's Chris for the same price and get really good steaks. But if you have casino comps and not using your own money this is the place to go.
Be the first to ReplyI've eaten here several times.
With small and large groups in the dining room, and small groups in the bar. Food and service are always great. Tried their surf and turf on Friday with an 8 oz fillet, lobster tail, mashed potatoes and asparagus. As usual the food was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyWe absolutely love coming here.
The atmosphere, the food, the staff, everything is top tier. A little on the pricy side but worth every penny every single time we come. We usually request Huey as our server since he is phenomenal. Makes us feel at home and goes above and beyond to take care of us. This will always be our go to spot for special occasions. The steak is cooked perfectly every time and the sides are amazing. Definitely would recommend!

We returned here with friends on Christmas Day, and had a fine dinner. A complimentary Bread Basket at a nice assortment of doughy products, including popovers and Pretzel Bread. Then our party of four shared some Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. The crustaceans were accompanied by Dijon Marmalade, which I could have done without. An order of Oysters Rockefeller was okay. A crock of French Onion Soup Gratinee was cheesy and very well made. And a Steakhouse Chopped Salad was good. Diane and I split 1-1/2 pounds of excellent and easily opened King Crab Legs for our main, accompanied by very good, lightly crisp French Fries, Mashed Yams with Melted Marshmallow, and Green Beans Almondine. I was particularly fond of the Yams. Our friends ordered a nice-looking 10 oz. Filet, and a Seafood Jackpot. We were seated at our reservation time of 6:00 p.m., and had depleted most ordered food by 8:45 p.m. Thus, we were all too full for dessert. Prices were reasonable for what we received, with King Crab Legs now a very expensive commodity. We paid $169.00 for the rather large portion we ordered, but it was a holiday, so were willing to splurge a little, and the sweet morsels supplied entrees for two people. Service was good, except one Lobster Bisque was initially forgotten. Seating was comfortable in a large booth, and the ambiance here is classy. We will definitely return again. XXXX-1/2 overall!

Went to Sonoma Cellars to celebrate our Anniversary last Tuesday. They had a couples special. I started with the French Onion soup, very tasty. Wife enjoyed the Caesar salad, next came the New York Steak , wife enjoyed the roasted chicken. I usually will have the Ribeye, however the New York Steak was really good. Our waiter Brian provided excellent service. The manager Edward stopped by to check up on us. Overall great food, great service, great staff. Thanks for making our special evening even more special.

We've seen this place as we wandered the casino and decided we were in the mood to try a new steak place. I'm leery of steak places because it seems they always over-cook the steaks, one step above what's requested. I assume it's because people order what sounds cool, like "medium rare" but then send it back when it's actually medium rare because they don't actually want that "rare" in there. It's unfortunate. This place was no different. I ordered medium rare (because I actually like it that way) and let the waiter know that they can err on the side of "rare" if they weren't sure--hoping that would indicate, yes, I actually want a red center. It came out (eventually) medium, pink with no red. Even near the bone was mostly medium, and that's usually a whole stage under the temp of the rest of the steak. I believe there was seasoned butter on top, but it was mild and I needed to salt the meat myself. The quality of the meat was good, it was nice and tender despite being a temp higher than desired. Server was friendly, I don't remember his name. We ordered drinks. They were fine, but nothing special, and came at the premium prices you'd expect. The breads that come out are good. It's a la cart, unless you get something that says otherwise, so the entre is by itself and you pick, and pay extra, for sides. We got salads and they were fine, again, nothing special. Because there was nothing about it that stood out, it will likely be lost in a sea of steakhouses that overcook your orders (I had to Google the name because I couldn't remember it, if that's any indication). Nothing wrong with them, the food was not bad, just not memorable. Prices are pretty par-for-course with other steak houses (high), but so is the food. If you go expecting any other steakhouse, you won't be disappointed. If you go hoping to find a hidden gem, you'll leave feeling underwhelmed.
Be the first to ReplyMy review is for the social (happy) hour at Sonoma Cellar.
After playing and winning $40 on the slots, we decided to treat ourselves with a little bite to eat. The bar area at Sonoma Cellar is very relaxing and small. I think there were about 4 or 5 tables plus bar seating. Our server was very friendly and recommended a tasty cocktail for me (which I've already forgotten the name or what was in it but it was fruity). For food, we got the chef's choice sliders (tasty!) and tots bravas (which were just ok, a little too mushy and I prefer the original version). The complimentary bread was so warm and DELICIOUS, I'd go back just for that. The price is a bit high for happy hour in my opinion but doesn't break the bank if you hit it big (or small) playing the slots. Hehe.

I can cut my steaks with a butter knife. That's how perfect and tender they are. I also like their calamari because it's thick and very well seasoned and crusted. Also try their Mac and cheese because it is ridiculously good. The service is great and the ambiance is great too.

This is a great steakhouse located inside sunset station casino. The seating and tables are very comfortable and all of the wait staff we encountered were friendly and professional. There were 3 in my party, we all ordered our favorite cuts of steak! The steaks were all cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. We chose our own sides and they were delicious as well. They have a great cocktail menu as well as an extensive wine menu. We had 6 PM reservations on a Friday night and arrived about 20 minutes early and we're seated immediately but then realized we must've gotten there just in time because the restaurant filled up pretty quickly. This is now my favorite steakhouse of all the station casinos so far.
Be the first to ReplyCame in for a Sunday evening dinner.
Made reservations for 6:45 and were promptly seated in a cozy booth. It was right next to a station that the bussers used quite often though. There were only a few of us in there and it quickly filled up as time passed. Casual attire is fine. Drink orders were quickly taken. Bread basket arrived shortly after. They had some delicious croissants in there that we asked for more of. Our waiters were great. We ordered the calamari and it was amazing. Best version I've tried thus far. Meaty with the perfect amount of breading and yummy dipping sauces. We ordered an old fashioned and the steakhouse martini. Both were ok, not too much of a kick which I'm not sure is actually ok lol. So the main entrees...porterhouse-medium, grass fed filet mignon-medium well, and NY strip-medium well. Sides: loaded potato skin-ok, charred corn-ok, and Mac n cheese-good. Mac n cheese was even better as a leftover. Charred corn just tasted like regular canned corn with alittle cotija cheese and some sauce that was ehh. The filet mignon was the best steak of the night. Soft and flavorful, wasn't cooked to medium well temp, but was still yummy. Overall we left stuffed and had a nice night in a beautiful restaurant with great service!
Be the first to ReplyThis is our go to place.
Love the New York Steak here, my wife loves the filet and their amazing croissant muffins. We have also tried the meatloaf and loaded potato, both were very good. Ambiance and service have always been good and prices in the mid range. We usually pay $170 for 2 big steaks, sides/salads and beer including tip. I'd like to give 4.5 stars only because we both think a few of their apps could be improved and that they should add a creamy potato side dish! Very nice place.

We enjoyed dinner here with our neighbors last week and we couldn't have had a better experience! Our server was Poom, and I have to say, she might have been the best server I've ever had at any restaurant. She was funny, informative, patient and very attentive! The food was fantastic. The ambiance was classy, bright and beautiful. I didn't even take any pictures because I was having such a great time!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to eat.
Steaks are amazing and food quality is on point. If you sit at the bar expect long wait times to get your food. That's the only bad thing. Took over an hour and half to get my steak.
Be the first to ReplyWe went here for Valentine's Day.
Our server was nice and friendly and the ambiance was great. The bacon wrapped shrimp and calamari was just ok and so was the Lobster Bisque. I ordered the Bone in Rib Eye and the doneness of the steak was excellent. It was juicy and delicious. My husband ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken was a little dry. The Charred Corn sadly tasted burnt not charred, it did not taste good at all.Overall, I would come back for the steak and maybe try the other items from the menu (but definitely not the charred corn).

The hostesses were rude and took long to sit us in a nearly empty restaurant even though we had reservations at 7:45 (seated at 8:05pm). We sat there until 8:13pm when Huey finally came but didn't take our order for drinks or entrees. At 8:23pm he finally returned and took our drink and entree orders...As we waited we observed Somer who tended to of her tables, took pictures for someone's birthday, got to know the couple at the other table all while clearing out the party table and getting the couple their beverages and meals in a timely manner. Finally, 20 'til 9pm our appetizers, entrees, and sides came. We were able to enjoy our charred steak that was supposed to be medium well; dry and cold kind crab legs that was accompanied by butter that clearly has been sitting as it had begun to solidify. Than we waited another 25 mins for our bill. It was $325 for the worst service ever and a meh food quality. If we go back it will be to be with Somer. It took us nearly 2 hours to eat and throughout we observed her attention to her tables, genuine interest in her customers, timely service that I had to ask her her name upon us leaving. She was amazing!

We had the most incredibly delicious dinner with some friends and our kids! Somer was our server and she was absolutely amazing! So attentive and knew so much about the menu and was very accommodating for our food allergy/preferences! Can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyThis place was awesome.
It was good service, great food, and good drinks. It's got a low light ambiance, which made dining pleasurable and relaxing. Also use your stations card and the dinner is reasonably priced. I recommend for those who love steakhouses and it's a great date spot.
