My family stayed here last week and I cant say enough how happy we were with our stay. The rooms were clean and the grounds were well kept. They have a great pool that was always kept clean. My wife has a hard time with her knees and they set up the handicap pool lift for her to use. The staff was awesome and would do anything to make your stay great. Cant wait to come back
Be the first to ReplyDo NOT book a stay here.
I am 24 and was told the day my reservation started that I could not stay there because I was not 25. Apparently that is a policy of theirs but it is nowhere to be found anywhere online on any website or booking site. Obviously I would not have booked a stay there if I would have seen that! I did extensive research because I knew that there was a 25 year old age limit at some places. The lady at the front desk refused to let me speak to the manager because it was his "day off." Unbelievable. Asked several times to speak to someone higher up and she refused every time and came up with an excuse why I couldn't. Offered absolutely no help and told me my only option was to cancel the reservation and be done with it. There are better options in the area, and by that, I mean literally any and every other place within a 100 mile radius. I would rather pay a $300 Uber to get to the beach every day than stay here.
Be the first to ReplyToday is my 5th day at this so called resort.
Got this deal through travelocity. Return ticket and 5 days here was less than $750.00. It had a pool, and across is the beach. There are lots if restaurants, sports bars and shops less than 3 blocks away. My favorite spot was the CVS that sells everything. Lyft fares fluctuated unpredictably, it almost seemed artificially created. I was expecting a room with 3 beds, but ended up with an apartment. A room with 2 queen size beds, 2 full baths, a kitchen living room, and 2 mini closets. Now to the reason I gave it 2 stars. For 5 days, no one made our bed or cleaned the room. I had to go ask for soap and towels. On our last day, there was a roach on the ceiling. Not surprising with the trash cans full. Like I always say, you get what you pay for. Will not recommend the "resort" to anyone. There are several hotels close by. A friend wanted to stay here, and was told she has to bon online. She went somewhere better.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is reasonably priced and you absolutely can't
This place is reasonably priced and you absolutely can't beat the location; access to the beach is literally right across the street and it's extremely close to many great eateries/bars and shopping. The pool was pretty nice, but you could tell it needed a shock treatment. My only negative comments would be that they only offer housekeeping services once a week and the a/c unit looked like it was growing black mold, but the room in general was clean.

Me and my family recently stayed at this resort during the Fourth of July. The location of this resort is great--it's right across the street from the beach, and surrounding it is many restaurants and shops that are in walking distance. However, if having a modern and luxurious experience at a resort is a priority for you, this is not the place to go. The rooms are very outdated and the staff is very cheap when it comes to providing their guests with basic complimentary needs, such as toilet paper. We ran out of toilet paper a few days into the trip (they don't give you much) and when I asked the front desk for more, they were unable to give us any until the maid service came to clean our rooms, which they then only gave us ONE roll of toilet paper for the 4 remaining days of our vacation. Multiple outlets in the room would randomly stop working, in addition to our lamp breaking, which we had to get replaced. There were four people in our room, with one bed, and one fold out sofa. It was very hard to maneuver our way around the room, the bed was not in a separate area or room like most hotels, it was the kind that can be pulled down from the wall. It was very difficult to walk around the room and we had to move a lot of unnecessary furniture in order to be able to fit our suitcases. When we asked the front desk if we could possibly get a larger room, they said they were completely booked. However, this was somewhat hard to believe, because we saw the same four families everyday, it seemed as if no one else was in any of the other rooms. It was also aggravating that there was only one mirror, which was in the bathroom, it made it very hard to get ready for dinner with four people showering and only one mirror. Although our room was not the greatest, the pool was a good size and very refreshing. The pool chairs were very uncomfortable though. The resort has a deck above the pool where we watched fireworks, that was a great spot. I give this resort 2 out of 5 stars because although the location is good and the pool is nice, the condition of the rooms and staff was not great. The pictures online are much different from the actual condition of the rooms.
Be the first to ReplyAwful room.
Floor was filthy, dirt and grime all over clearly had not been properly mopped in some time. Appliances were old and rusty. Murphy bed must have been 20 years old, just not a comfortable stay. You don't expect to get a prime room on Priceline but this was just bad. Great location and friendly staff but did not make up for how bad the room was.

Nice spot on Ft Lauderdale Beach with great views, walking distance to everything on the beach. Nice pool, plenty of outdoor seating, gas grills, upper deck is nice, staff is friendly, rooms are clean, affordable and have small kitchens. Murphy bed in studios are a little stiff but it makes the room feel bigger. 1 and 2 bedroom units are spacious. This is not the ritz more old Florida but I personally prefer that.

Don't stay here unless you like rats! My husband and I chose this because it was right on the beach. Our room wasn't ready when we got there. We came back at regular check in time and they were still cleaning. While sitting at the pool I saw something run from the bushes. At first we thought it was a geico...it wasn't. It was a whole family of rats. I told the front desk but they didn't seem to care too much. The cleaning lady came to our room and when I asked her to come back since we had just woken up she rolled her eyes and walked away. Plan on getting woken up by leaf blowers bright and early every morning. And then don't be surprised if there's a 7 foot saw leaning against your room when you walk out. The landscapers leave sharp tools everywhere. I'm glad we didn't have kids with us because we wouldn't have been able to stay. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Be the first to ReplyLovin this little gem.
Tucked right next door to the Ritz Carlton, the beach access cannot be beat. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and courteous. I will be back.
Be the first to Replywould give 4.
90 stars (if possible).stayed for a week through rci in a one bedroom unit (rci members are required to pay a nominal $20 weekly fee). small well equipped kitchen, separate dining room and living room. arrived early and was able to check in early. location is great-right across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, cvs and other local businesses. uber ride to publix, downtown ft lauderdale, lauderdale by the sea, wilton manors. unit was spacious and clean with recently updated furniture. the hotel is a smaller older low key well kept resort. pool was clean. staff was always friendly. wifi worked well for my needs. definitely planning to return very soon as it met my vacation needs. may not be the right place for those who are looking for an overpriced, overhyped, impersonal large glitzy hotel.minor recommendations:-the air conditioning units should be updated-the shower may need to be modernized

Do not judge a book by its cover because you're going to drive up and think to yourself, WTF did I get myself into. I stayed here (room 345) during college and wanted to try it out again, since it has such a great location. I emailed with the property and found out that they would rent out to non-timeshare owners. I reserved/prepaid for a 2 queen bed unit. When I arrived, I was given a 1 king unit with 2 pullout sofas (room 230) but I didn't complain because the view was fantastic and the unit had windows on 4 sides. I would absolutely stay here again!Pro: price, location (1 block to beach place, CVS, haagen daz, subway), very large unit with separate bedroom, living/dining space and full kitchen, parking is free/covered by the one-time $20 resort fees, both units 346/230 have stellar views, easy to walk to/from the beach for bathroom/food breaks (no elevators or lobby crowds and as beach adjacent as one can get in FLL), decent toilet paper, complimentary hot dogs one day, day trips (Miami and Key West for minimal charge), nice rooftop deckMod: Friendly staff (albeit a bit hot/cold), shower water pressure was acceptable but a little off for my taste, you can have housekeeping come in mid-week to swap out towels/linens (not a full daily cleaning), little rough finishes/exterior (only a few of my windows would stay open), it's pretty soundproof between unitsCon: smaller bathroom (bring your own toiletries), very bad wifi, only in-wall ACs (not central air)This place is not the Ritz but that's across the street for a couple hundred/night more. I also like the Hilton about 5 blocks north. The office will provide towels and also gave me beach chairs for free. To rent these from FL, it's $12/chair and $20/umbrella, which is absurd. If the beach directly in front has too many males in speedos, just go down the beach a bit more. Having a full kitchen cuts down on food costs significantly, Uber to/from FLL is about $15 or $6 to/from Las Olas.

Nice little resort across the street from the ocean, hidden in between the big hotels in a great location of Fort Lauderdale. Clean unit and can't beat the price for the location. It has a kitchen, living and dinning area and separate bedroom. The staff is very friendly. The resort was built in the late 60s but it has been renovated and well maintained. There are many restaurants and bars to walk to, and free parking in a really busy area. This place is is a home away from home.
