I'm a Florida Resident but was new to this Casino since I typically stuck to the local ones closer to where I live. That being said, after my recent stays, I must say: I am impressed! In South Florida, there's no better place to stay or to gamble. This is a beautiful property that is clearly well-run by employees that enjoy and take pride in their job. I stayed in both The Guitar Hotel and The Oasis Tower (both of which are the newer hotel towers.) Parking is free and not complicated. The room layouts/features are basically identical in both, although the Guitar Hotel is taller and has floor to ceiling windows, so you up your chance at having a great view. The rooms are casually luxe with some of the better mattresses/bedding I've experienced at a resort. The bathrooms are all marble with a huge walk-in shower and several shower-heads, plus separated water closet and huge dual vanity. One of the two massive pool complexes were closed during my stay, so I spent all of my pool time at The Guitar Hotel pool. They have chair-side service for food and drinks, but you need to be proactive in getting the wait-staff's attention depending on how busy it is, but once you do, everything comes out quickly. I had chips and guac and it was above average and in-line with general resort menu pricing. The Guitar Hotel rises above the pool like a spaceship and it is absolutely stunning to look at. There is also a beach and a lagoon area, which seemed to be more family oriented, but a nice touch nonetheless. I don't think I can count how many restaurants/bars/clubs/lounges there were, but I would say there would have to be at least 30 or 40, with about a dozen being full service sit-down restaurants. We ate at Council Oak and had incredible Salmon and top-notch old fashioned. We also did a late night round of room service (open 24 hours) and had a great burger and the homemade Blondie with ice cream, which is literally one of the best desserts I've ever had. Last but not least- the casino. It is massive, bright, clean, and super lively. Smoking is allowed but wasn't overly pungent and there's a large smoke-free slot area. They have a great selection of slots and table games. If you like slot's like me, you'll have no problem finding something that will suit your mood. Overall a really great experience at the Hardrock, can't wait to be back!
