DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! My husband and I came in a few hours
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! My husband and I came in a few hours ago for lunch. It wasn't the first time but it will be the last. They have a serious roach infestation. My purse was on the chair next to me and when I looked over there was a baby cockroach on my purse. I swatted at it and then couldn't find it. As I was freaking out checking my purse, it ran across my foot. I was wearing flip flops!! I started looking around and there was another one crawling next to the bar and another that had been stepped on. I made my husband stay to pay the check and I ran outside. AGAIN.... DO NOT EAT HERE!
Be the first to ReplyWe've been there for AYCE lunch.
It's okay but nothing special. Was disappointed with their nigiri and rolls. It seems like the tempura is ready made and cold. It's clean and perhaps better for dinner. It's not a place we will go back to,

Been a long time customer (though admittedly I haven't been here in a while through no fault of their own), and unfortunately it's quality has slipped in some key areas. I hope that they're able to tweak things to get it back to its former glory. 1. The menus and soy sauce bottles were sticky and filthy. My wife's menu had fish bones stuck to it when they handed it to her. That's just gross. Cleanliness has always been a high priority here so I hope that they get back on top of it. 2. The rice to fish ratio has gotten insanely off kilter. You still get a decently sized cut of fish, but it resides on a giant hill of rice that is just very unpleasant to eat and impossible to do in one bite. I had to cut half of the rice off of every piece of nigiri to get it where the ratio is standard for most AYCE places. To their credit, I wasn't given any hassle or charged extra for doing so. A lot of the good stuff is still there. The appetizers are great, the place is still cozy and not noisy like so many other places, the staff are still friendly, and most importantly the fish quality itself (outside of the imitation crab in one of the rolls) was really good and served at the right temperature. So, Sasa folks, if you read this, please take it as constructive criticism, and I look forward to being back once these issues are nipped in the bud.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing Experience and Unprofessional Response.
I recently visited this sushi restaurant with high expectations, only to be met with a truly disappointing experience. The wait time for our food was egregiously long, far beyond what one might consider reasonable even during peak hours. When our order finally arrived, the disappointment only continued; the food was underwhelming and did not meet the standard one would expect from a sushi establishment. Following my visit, I left a one-star review to honestly share my experience, hoping it might encourage the restaurant to address these issues. Instead of taking this feedback constructively, the restaurant chose to ban me, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and an unwillingness to accept and grow from customer critiques. This response is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the management's attitude towards customer satisfaction and feedback. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience or value for their time and money. There are numerous other sushi places that not only offer superior quality and service but also handle customer feedback with the grace and professionalism it deserves.
Be the first to ReplyOne star is too generous for this establishment.
After a genuinely disappointing experience marked by subpar service and less than satisfactory food quality, I felt compelled to share my honest feedback in a previous review, hoping for improvement or at least acknowledgment. Instead, my attempt to provide constructive criticism was met with outright service refusal on my subsequent visit. It's disheartening to see a business not only ignore customer feedback but also retaliate against customers for voicing their experiences. This approach to customer service is unacceptable and showcases a lack of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend a restaurant that prioritizes ego over improvement and customer engagement. There are plenty of other establishments that value and act upon customer feedback to enhance their service and offerings.
Be the first to ReplyI was craving chicken or pork Katsu for lunch today.
Ordered chicken Katsu to go to as time was limited. It was a very short drive from my location of less than ten minutes. The disappointment when I opened my container to find out that sauce was poured over the chicken and rice. This made the food nearly inedible as the chicken was soggy and the rice mushy. Boy was I sad as this was not what I had expected. So once I tried it boy was I disappointed! Food rating for me was a one. On the bright side was the hard working waitress who was covering the three tables plus our to go order which seemed like a long wait. The atmosphere was adequate although the choice of music was interesting since we were at a Japanese restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyBest place for all you can eat.
.RICE. Service was okay, rolls were okay..but the NIGIRI... 85% Rice, 10% Sashimi and 5% hope that you can eat it all. Walked out with heart burn.
Be the first to ReplyI asked for the all you can eat dinner, which is $32.
99. I ordered a miso soup, which had no miso, it was broth and seaweed only, ordered a seaweed salad and that was good, the vegetable tempura was good, it had sweet potato, broccoli and zucchini, I then ordered a playboy roll, this was good, it was deep fried, I ordered a twist roll and it was bad, the octopus was chewy, it really feel like I had to chew like 2 minutes before I could swallow it. The service wasn't the best, one of my friends ordered a Lisa Lisa roll and she never got it. The Japanese lasagna took like 40 minutes to come out. Then, we asked to get the check split, but they were charging us an additional $7 each, we had to show them the bill was wrong, which they fixed. I needed up paying $42 for dinner and it just wasn't good.

Love coming here they are for sure a hidden gem, who ever is on the aux know what theyre doing and they have yhe freshest nigiri ive tried in the city so far.
Be the first to ReplyWARNING We ate here last night.
Since waking up this morning I have felt absolutely horrible! I've experienced loose BM's and feel hot but have the chills at the same time. I almost puked about an hour ago. I am wholly convinced that I am experiencing food poisoning. I plan on reporting this to the Health District. Stay far away from this place! Additionally, and in my opinion, there are way better places to choose from here in Vegas. The sushi was not good!
Be the first to ReplyOverprice for quality.
We came for ayce lunch ($31+tax pp) and left not impressed. We have been following their account on instagram and finally got to be on that side of town to try it. The service is good and speedy, very nice people. However, the fish is lacking some overall quality (very fishy, not the good kind) but if I had to recommend something I would say try their salmon belly and the spicy tuna nacho. Overall, the place is small but has a good amount of tables, large sushi bar area and is very clean.

So I'll start by saying that the sushi isn't bad by any definition, but it wasn't for me personally. Boyfriend and I dropped in on a Saturday, pretty spontaneously whilst driving home. We both did the AYCE lunch (which was listed as a lower price on the door sign than it ended up being, but they removed the lunch only restrictions with the slightly higher price so a wash overall). The food had good taste for most of our rolls, but a big theme was the massive cuts of fish that really threw the texture off for us. This may be great for some people, and as mentioned the taste was quite good on the rolls, but the texture that the massive fish cuts gave the roll was very rough for us personally. I ordered unagi and almost everywhere else I've ordered it have gotten smaller pieces, but here got long strips of it (maybe like 3-4 inches in length?) and because of the size, you get a lot of the kind of jellified fat strip on the eel, which again was a texture issue for us. The traditional rolls I ordered were MASSIVE and very loosely rolled, which meant some of them fell apart as I was picking them up, not a massive issue for sure but something I noted. Finally, I ordered the Birthday roll (I think was the name?) And it came with strips of immigration crab laid across the top. The taste of the roll was quite good, but because the crab wasn't cut on the top, I ended up having to deconstruct the top of the rolls and then pick up little bits of crab to eat with it. While, again, the taste was good, it seems like more thought needs to go into the presentation on that one as both of us were stumped in how we were meant to eat it without deconstructing it (the rolls are presented as 2 rows, next to each other, so the crab pieces covered several pieces and were pretty solid, so not easily separated with chopsticks alone). To be absolutely fair, I did order this without the roe on top, so that may have changed the presentation on this one. Overall if you want a cosey little spot and like big cuts of fish in your rolls, you may want to give this place a try.

Horrible experience, wait time for order was crazy, it took 30-40mins. for them to bring our food. for each round, and the sever was not nice to us for their service.

Staff is absolutely incredible, they make our food without even ordering because they know us so well and have our orders memorized. They get busy so make sure you always call to reserve a spot!
Be the first to ReplyWent here to meet some friends for his birthday.
What a great place. Kind of small but food was super good. The nigiri was awesome which this place cuts very thick which was a surprise. We got the popcorn lobster sushi. OMG. Get that. You won't regret it. The service was really good and they are super nice. It's definitely off the beaten path but for once in a while not so bad. Ambiance is ok. Like I said kind of small but eh.

Decided to take my family there for some AYCE Sushi and well I was disappointed with the service. Now the sushi was outstanding but to wait for 40 mins was unbelievable. I've been to places that were super busy but still managed to hand out the food within a good time limit. Perhaps I'll give this place another try but as of right now I'll take my family somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyNever going back.
Ordered 5 rolls and they were tiny with hardly had any fish on top. Felt like I didn't get much for the price I paid. Disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyFood and service was good.
It was clean enough for me not to walk out. Friendly place. It's definitely a go to for this side of town. Have not been disappointed yet.

Not really an AYCE If you wait an hour for at least one of your orders to show up. Wasn't busy and they had 4 sushi chef's. Horrible service. Stop saying sorry about the wait and fix the problem. If you want to get robbed then this is the place to be because ain't no way you're getting your sushi. Recommend taking your business somewhere else.

I have experience two bad services within a week because I go there every week and I had to leave my thoughts and a one star review because I felt like I was neglected as I had to wait an hour for at least something to come out. Two months later I decided to give It another try and perhaps finally get the good services since I have always been getting for the past 10-15 years. I love this place but come to realize the chef's or the owner refuse service to me and my whole family because I wrote an honest review. Instead of fixing it, they banned us and told us not to show our face has they will not serve us. This was my go to place since I was a kid to now I have to take my business somewhere else. They said "why not leave a good review " and the reason is well because we didn't need to as we were always there every week and as they treat us good, we treat them good and thats a fact. Goodbye Sasa. I hope you treat your other loyal customers with respect and fixing the situation instead of refusing service to them.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I always loved Sasa Sushi as it was a lot
My husband and I always loved Sasa Sushi as it was a lot like NY. However, went today for lunch & a cocker roach came walking right on our table! Jumped up & walked right out. We will not be going there again. What a shame the food was good.

After 20 weeks of dieting for a bodybuilding competition I was really looking forward to finally getting a chance to try your restaurant after seeing all the amazing food pics on Instagram. It's unfortunate that you guys are understaffed and we barely got any of our orders for our party of 4. And when we did got our orders we had to ask multiple times to get anything. It's so unfortunate because what food we did get I was pretty impressed with. Hope you guys correct this issue so future customers like us won't have a similar experience!
Be the first to ReplyThis is our favorite AYCE sushi place ever.
The service, quality, and price are unrivaled. We always bring family and friends here when they come to town and they agree this place is delicious!! Our favorites on the menu include the agedashi tofu, salmon collar, the nigiri menu (love the super white, yuzu yellowtail, tamago, and unagi!), Tracy roll, and all of the dinner-exclusive items, especially the uni. The nigiri dishes come two pieces per order, and the fish portions are generous. We typically order all our favorites and several rounds of nigiri. And then of course we always have a second stomach saved for dessert at the end, which comes with the meal. The green tea ice cream, pistachio ice cream, and mochi are our faves, but the affogato ice cream is pretty great too. Sasa never fails to treat us like family and we will always keep coming back.
Be the first to ReplyBeen traveling around Las Vegas to local sushi spots and
Been traveling around Las Vegas to local sushi spots and Saga Sushi has been one of the most underwhelming spots we have been to. As far as cleanliness and service I give it a 4.5 of 5. To the food now, the rolls are very underwhelming with little to no flavor and disproportionate with rice to fish ratio. The Nigiri has way to much rice and kills the flavor of the fish which sucks because the fish is a good size piece.
