I am really sorry to say this but maybe it would help? We went to Sarma last night and really looked forward to another great food/dining experience. However, it's not looking good that we would make an effort to get there again after so many lovely and interesting dining experiences there over the years. I'll just say this: We had a wonderful server at the bar, Cameron, very attentive and knows his stuff. We purchased the warm "Gyro" bread in the brown paper bag that they used to serve with your initial drinks for free...now you pay for it and they do not serve it any longer with evoo...(they used to) They also used to bring out all sorts of dishes that you could choose from that the chef/owner would surprise us with...now it is fried chicken. And that's it. We got it...there wasn't any chicken but boy, they really know how to make a very crunchy batter...we kept pulling it apart...where exactly was that chicken? Maybe we will try it again someday. Maybe some of these changes are due in part to addressing necessary changes due to pulling out of a global pandemic. But I do hope the quality of Sarma's dining experience doesn't keep sliding and that this restaurant listens to patrons who care. Just remember...placing a piece of warm bread down with the glass of wine is a touch of brilliance...maybe you should rethink that cutback...
