Arrived early to the airport so I decided to grab breakfast.
It was very early in the morning so there weren't many people in the restaurant. The place was clean, but the reason for the 2-star rating is as follows: Staff was very cold in demeanor, my order took a long time to get to me with so few people in the restaurant & my order was wrong and the food and coffee were cold. I left a tip as understand people work for them, but I won't be going there again.

I thought that the Burger came with fries - because you're spending $20 on a burger, which is insane but it is the airport so I thought OK. AND because the server asked "fries?" when I ordered the burger. Which I thought was a question on like, if I wanted something ELSE other than the fries that CAME with the burger. Imagine my surprise when I got the check and saw that the fries were extra - and seven dollars! Where do you get off charging seven dollars for fries? Seven!! Dollars!! And why didn't the server say they were extra? Why ask "Fries?" If they didn't just come with the burger?? It's not like I ASKED for fries, I just asked for the burger. Mr. server - if you're wondering why I tipped so poorly, it's because the fries ate your tip. I was contemplating leaving nothing. If you want a better tip in the future, I suggest stating "would you like fries? They are extra." Or just NOT asking altogether. I cannot believe I spent $36 here for just me. The burger wasn't even good. The "homemade guac" is just crushed avocados with nothing else in it. No flavor.
Be the first to ReplyService was absolute trash.
Messed up my order, never came around to fix it, charged me for items I didnt get, told me fixing the ticket would take a while because she's serving so many tables. Ended up just paying because my flight started to board early.
Be the first to ReplyWe decided to have dinner as a family at the airport before
We decided to have dinner as a family at the airport before our flight. We all were excited to have some dinner at a diner since we have very few in Vegas. As we showed up to the host stand, Carlos seemed bothered that we had a party of 8. He then walked away for a few minutes and came back and said he was unable to find any tables for us. He did offer a stand up table. He walked us over to the large tall table, provided us with menus and walked away. We quickly noticed that there were only 6 chairs for us to sit. We asked him if he could bring us so additional tables and he quickly said no and suggested we eat standing up. We kindly asked him if we could sit on the tables right next to our current tables and he said the station was closed. We were confused as the tables were literally next to us and other people were sitting in the "closed" section. We all agreed to eat standing up since we were going to have a good dinner for my daughter's 7th birthday. We noticed that we could order from a barcode on the table since Carlos took several minutes before coming to our table to take our drink order. As we're just about done ordering food, Carlos walked over and said he would take the order. We kindly told him we were just about done ordering thru the barcode. Very rudely he stated that we needed his authorization to order thru the barcode and that he would not authorized us to order thru the barcode. At this point we were 100% sure he was bothered by our presence and we decided to leave. We walked over right next door to CPK and received top notch service. Carlos should reconsider taking some customer service classes. Very rude and unprofessional. His appearance also looked unprofessional.
Be the first to ReplyOkay, let's get the good out of the way: The food was good.
Maybe it was because we had just gotten out of a 10 hour flight, but we enjoyed our chicken tender basket (whatever sauce came with it was super good) and my friend liked her albacore melt. Now onto the bad: our server. Didn't get her name, but she had glasses and her hair was in a ponytail. WOW! I really try to sympathize because I'm in customer service and she was juggling tables but the attitude was off-putting and downright rude. I asked her a question about the food and she gave me a look like I said something stupid and responded sarcastically. I didn't read too much into that but my friends pointed out that she was rude (I'm honestly just a pushover so I try not to take it personally). But then she brought our food and we were supposed to get coleslaw with our basket. We asked about it and she said "nope, don't have it" super quickly and in a rude manner and rushed away. We were very confused because...if y'all ran out, why wouldn't you say anything if we paid for it?? And she didn't even try to give us a substitution or anything. Again, I really try to sympathize because it's an airport diner and not a big deal at the end of the day, but she was also quick (attitude wise) with other customers. Also, don't expect regular Ruby's prices, but that's a given since it's in an airport.
Be the first to ReplyShe's so mean like we must eat here and no choice.
Geez chill lady! She need to learn customer service, she shouldn't be working here if she don't like her job. Airport workers sucks! All rude!
Be the first to ReplyBetter go to Starbucks next door.
The breakfast options are very limited, the lighting is very bright with a nauseous guess that they don't stop talking, and no milk for your coffee.
Be the first to ReplyI get why they have such a low rating .
wife and I walk In and bar was full , so we sat down at a table. went up to the bartender and ordered a beer and a water he was great $2 tip on a $9 beer, sat down and wife and I were not wanting a full meal , went up to waitresses serving that area and asked if we could order some French fries . she practically bit my head off, asked me who sat us at that table , said no one , we ordered a beer and sat down. I ask is there a problem , we are already paying customer. I get "sit down I will get to you " she just ignored us . I ask again may we order fries and she just became ugly. when she finally comes to us I told the only thing I need is a manager. it sure why the angry service , I could see if they were busy , but even that was not the case

Purposefully ignored as I stood waiting to place a to go order. Waited for at least 10 minutes as they ignored me then asked those behind me for their order.
Be the first to ReplyI dined at Ruby's Diner with my mom recently.
I liked the food. I had The Classic burger. We shared a side of Onion Rings. The burger was a good size and there were ample onion rings. I thought service was fine.
Be the first to ReplyA diner.
The food is ok, burrito was pretty good. However, the waitress proposed a hash brown on the side, and I realised it is an extra payment already on a check :(.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely awful.
They stop serving breakfast at 930am?? Who the hell wants a hamburger at 930am? Their big sign says breakfast but I guess that's just at early hours. Idiots

I went to Ruby's Diner very late on a Sat night when probably only a few flights arriving or leaving LV. It wasn't very crowded because of the time. I was seated promptly & ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger & Fries. There was a lone male waiter manning the tables & he was fast, polite & friendly. A female server brought my food out quickly. To my disappointment, both the burger & fries were cold - it's no wonder it (pre-cooked) came out so quickly. Due to past negative experience, I never send food back to the kitchen. I guess at this time of the workshift, everyone is tired & wants to go home. Should have gone next door to CPK - at least the pizza is made hot. Late night travelers - be warned. I fly to Vegas often, but other than for breakfast, I won't be going to Ruby's at night again.

Amber is one of the best servers that I have had the experience of having, during my time here in Vegas! I asked her for her recommendation for lunch and she didn't disappoint! The Tuna melt on garlic toast with light batter onion rings is to die for! You get a king's ransom portion!!
Be the first to ReplyStopped here for breakfast.
Not much options so we made do. Staff was pleasant. However the food was very bland and the coffee wasn't that great. I was also disappointed they didn't serve waffles or a vegan breakfast meat option. We ordered a coffee, pineapple juice, and two veggie omelets. It came with hash browns a slice of toast (butter & jelly). The veggies in the omelet were spinach, diced tomatoes and mushrooms. I prefer the vegetables in my omelette's to be cooked and these weren't. The cheese was melted though, thank god! After adding salt, pepper and ketchup I was able to at least eat half of it. The cost of the meal was just under $60. I can't say I necessarily recommend it, but I also can't say I wouldn't stop there again if hungry enough with no other options.
Be the first to ReplyFor a fast food dinner, Ruby's has got everyone else
For a fast food dinner, Ruby's has got everyone else beat! $$ out of five in price, but for out of five in taste, five out of five in service and value. Four chicken fingers with a big box of fries will run you $17 about the same as Macdonald if you got the same amount of food. Remember, the prices are supposed to be higher in the airport! The atmosphere is "Fifties Diner". They serve beer, soft drinks, water, apple juice, etc. definitely worth the stop if you're hungry! I read one review that mentioned convenience is gone since it's not a sit down restaurant. I've been working at LAS and you have two options, but at the register and sit down to eat or sit down and have the wait staff come and take your order. Nothing has changed.
Be the first to ReplyThis review is not so much about the food since the food
This review is not so much about the food since the food was good in our opinion. This review is about the service. We ordered our food and found a place to sit on the outside of the restaurant. The only sign posted was one that said "cocktails to go." It did not mention anything about not being able to sit there if you ordered your food and are eating at the restaurant. So I sat there and waited for my husband to grab out food. We also saw other patron sitting there, eating and drinking. It had a bar with several places to sit, eat and drink. About 12-25 min later my husband comes back with the food in take out plates. We noticed that it was not what we ordered as far as getting French toast instead of pancakes. We also did not receive syrup for the French toast. I got up out of my seat to get the syrup and went back to my table. Not even a minute later, the worker who I just picked up the syrup from, comes out and says, "This is for dine in only. Are you ordering drinks?" I replied, "no, but we are dining in."Worker says, "Sorry this is for dine in only and for drinks." (Referring to alcoholic beverages). My husband and I looked at each other, BIT OUR TONGUES, packed up our stuff and walked away. We chose not to say anything for the sake of keeping peace. #1 I was sitting there for 12-15 minutes and not once did anyone ask us if we wanted to order anything or how we are doing #2 The worker JUST SAW ME when I asked for syrup so why would I NOT be dining in?#3 Make your signs clearer or adjust accordingly to suit the need of the restaurant So now we don't want anyone to go thru the same experience..it wasn't busy until AFTER we sat down initially to eat our food Ambiance...it's an airport, (Harry Reid, Las Vegas, NV) high foot traffic but we came at a great time, just before the rush! Please do better!!!
Be the first to ReplyIf you eat here you risk missing your flight.
Wait for a burger and salad was over 40 minutes, not joking. Place is also completely filthy. The don't have enough workers. Stay away.
Be the first to ReplyNot what I expected it to be.
I stopped here because of convenience, and was immediately put off by the employees. As I placed my order I was told it was a 20 min wait, which I was early at the airport and was fine with. As I was listening for my number to be called and heard others being called, I checked with the lady at the counter she had called my number so it sat. When I checked my bag it was missing half my order. A different employee came over and said that they some how didn't charge me for fries, even though I was clearly asked at the register if I was ordering them. She charged me then they handed me a bag with cold fries with cheese- that I did not ask for. It was as if they were someone else's left. I fly here a lot, but I doubt I'll come back here.

Like most airport eateries this place is overpriced and designed to get you in and out efficiently. Therefore there is a limited menu without customization. Service is at the counter only--no waitress that you might expect in a diner. My food was ready in less than 2 minutes. The restaurant was clean and decorated very retro from furniture to chandelier. My breakfast sandwich was huge, hot and was just what I needed before a 4 hour flight.
Be the first to Reply50's diner peddling over priced burgers and breakfast
50's diner peddling over priced burgers and breakfast sandwiches on an English muffin served until 10:00am. Not much to look forward to. Service was quick and accurate, while ambiance leaves much to be desired.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was okay.
It was convenient and good for if you're in a hurry. The food was decent. It was comparable to other fast food burger chains but nothing to write home about. Service was fast. Did not have to interact with them too much. The ambiance was relaxed. Sat down and ate them nothing much. I probably won't go here again unless I'm craving a burger and happen to be in Terminal D.

please read reviews before eating anywhere i pulled a peice of black hair out my mouth on my last bite and they said oh your just trying to get out the bill you are lying and i still had to pay
Be the first to ReplyLocation is obviously convenient when flying out of LAS on
Location is obviously convenient when flying out of LAS on American Airlines . A quicker place to sit and have a bite to eat. The fries are fairly good , milkshakes as well. The burger prices with no fries are pretty high for the quality even for airport food. I probably would not revisit unless it was the only option available. The staff was very nice and prompt, and the location was also very clean .
Be the first to ReplyDon't waste your time or money.
...food was terrible and customer service is even worse, god forbid ifyou are not at the bar waiting on your order. The cooks will look at you and laugh and the woman calling the orders will deliberately skip you and make you wait even longer. They had the string bean fries and had zero taste to them. My burger was entirely undercooked, pretty sure blood is not supposed to run out.
