A truly wonderful lunch
I don't usually give reviews but this place deserves it. An exceptional lunch accompanied by a perfect situation I would say. Starting from the food, truly amazing, both in taste and presentation but also in ideas. The staff in the room were super friendly, helpful and prepared. The breathtaking view (I booked well in advance requesting a nice table with a view for two people and they put me in the best one near the window). Furthermore, the chef was very kind to us at the end of lunch, telling us some curiosities about him and the restaurant. We can't wait to return. (I won't post photos of the dishes so as not to ruin the surprise)
Review the service
The Borgo Sant'Anna restaurant offers a very good culinary experience with some dishes with winning taste pairs, a suggestive location among the Monforte d'Alba vineyards. However, the service, below Michelin standards, compromised the overall experience. The positioning of the table, placed in the dish service, away from sight and alone in a corner, with all the comings and goings of the waiters and the buzz of the dishes, had a further negative impact on the evening. I've been to various starred restaurants but it pains me to say that the service is better in the restaurant next door...

Chef at the top! Highly recommended restaurant!
We already knew the hand of chef Laera and with pleasure we enjoyed a very high level lunch. Very beautiful location, immersed in the hills of the Langhe with a service managed by young and well-trained staff. We opted for the game menu (hunting only), a very good choice! Each dish was created in an impeccable way, cooking and combinations were always balanced and tasty for the palate. Among the dishes we appreciated most was the Daino Crudo, onions, hairy mussels and chinotto (harmonious dish) not to mention the Raviolo in civet di Lepre... a pleasure! Bonus for the bread which is brought directly by the girl who manages its preparation in the kitchen. Second bonus! : Thanks for the extra dish (orecchiette with ragù), touching. The service was managed with excellent timing with relative description of each dish. Definitely a restaurant worthy of note, a must for any self-respecting good palate! Best wishes to the chef and his team, we will be back to visit you soon.
Service was pretentious! And not gracious!
We were excited to eat the food and were not disappointed. It was delicious and the chef came to our table at the end of the meal which is always delightful. We also visited for the view. We were first seated at the side of the restaurant with no view. We requested a table with a view. At first we were rudely ignored. When I told the maitre d’ we came from far for the food and the view, he finally seated us by the large window! We found the service stiff and pretentious. Does not match with the venue which is light, airy and quite beautiful!
Fantastic experience for all my senses
Excellent restaurant, with attention to the smallest details. Round tables separated from each other. Nice atmosphere. Attentive and very knowledgeable staff. Exciting, original, unique cuisine. Strong but delicate flavours. Excellent cellar. The pre-meal and post-meal sweets are a pleasant surprise. I have celiac disease but I managed to eat everything. A delightful evening. I'll be back!

I return to this place to celebrate my eightieth birthday (80) and thanks to their contribution the lunch proved to be fully up to expectations... 2 different menus chosen, both interesting... (see attached photos) as always a very pleasant conclusion and pleasant the celebration...HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Cuisine that best combines Piedmont and Puglia, and gives its best in this area: aubergine parmigiana, innovative in appearance and unexpectedly traditional in flavour, an unforgettable signature! The snail and snail risotto is excellent, winking at the territory but combining it with the sea, as is the raw prawns with spicy kiwi sorbet for an oriental touch that doesn't clash. Well-kept location, young and attentive service, absolutely correct and honest price. A tasting menu that included all the iconic dishes, best describing the young and talented chef, would be top!!

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
