Quarters Korean BBQ Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
Great quality food, especially the beef and pork selections.
Service excellent. Ambiance is cool and energizing.

Let's start from the good thing, even though they had a wait time for more than 45 minutes they have a nice waiting area where you can sit and chitchat or even have drinks. We wanted to try some new kbbq place so decided to go there. I have been to tons of KBBQ place and looks like this place is just a hype. Nothing extraordinary. Beef Bulgogi was too sweet. But I was so disappointed when I saw pork belly. This is the worst pork belly ever ever seen in my life. Lastly the service, we had to wait extra 10/15min for check, the waiter who helped us just disappeared. We had to wave another table's waitress to bring our check.

The food is really good services inconsistent the drinks are absolutely amazing ambience is amazing
We were there on a Sunday at 11am ish.
Quality of meat was pretty good, we ordered the large combo, perfectly enough food for the four of us. Side dishes were all good (no refills though), soy bean paste soup was really good as well. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I mean we paid 18-20% tips for lunch, and honesty, I am not asking for a red carpet lay out for me or over the top services, all I am asking is just regular decent service we get as a customer in a restaurant. Where server does not throw our food around on the grill, or when they got raw meat juice in my water, they'd get me a new glass of water, or hostess doesn't kick our chair around in front of us while we are at the table. Although the food was good, it was just a terrible dining experience. I'd go elsewhere (That's just my opinion though).

I specifically asked for a non-alcoholic drink and ordered an orange juice. I received the drink and it was sparkling. I started feeling the effects of alcohol because I have an alcohol allergy, I asked again if it was non-alcoholic. The waiter said it was regular orange juice and I asked if it should be sparkling and he said "no", yet my drink was carbonated. The people in the group I was with all tried it and said it did not taste like plain orange juice. I said I was feeling the effects of alcohol and the waiter said he would check for me. He returned with a new cup of orange juice and it was not carbonated this time. My group also tried some and said it tasted like regular oranged juice, which was different from the first cup. I asked the bartender as well how the drink was made and he claimed both cups of juice came from the orange juice jug. They could not provide an answer to why the drink was carbonated or why I was feeling tipsy/drunk and jittery from my alcohol allergy. The bartender who answered my questions did not apologize for the situation and was only defensive. This is a dangerous mistake as I have an alcohol allergy. I cannot imagine what the situation would be if this happened to a pregnant person or someone on medication. The supervisor was called and claimed that the only thing that could cause carbonation would be soda water and could not explain why I was showing evident symptoms of alcohol consumption. He offered me benydryl which shouldn't be mixed with alcohol and took off 20% of our bill and removed the extra items we ordered. He said it was the "least" he could do. He did apologize for the situation but said that he had to also consider "both sides" (me who experienced symptoms vs the bartenders who couldn't even remember if they put soda water or anything else in the drink). I asked if they had a breathalyzer, but they did not have one. The fact that they gave me an allergic reaction ruined the experience for me.

Quarters is one of my go to kbbq spots whenever I'm with a big group. It has the BEST SIDES of all the kbbq restaurants in the area and the prices aren't that bad; usually would pay $30-45 between 2 ppl for 4 rounds of meat. I will say it is a very busy location-the only time there's no wait is lunch time but after 5pm the wait is usually very long. The inside is also very loud from the amount of people talking to the music, it very much gives a club vibe inside. Waiters are very sweet and helpful however and always giving as many side refills as we ask. Def also recommend the Kimchi fried rice it's the best side to buy! I also like how quarters has the to go option if there's anything left over which I appreciate. If you don't feel like AYCE then I recommend Quarters!

We ordered the large combo and a bold of cold noodles with a party of 5. The marinated beefs here are so freaking good! The pork belly is fine and the pork jowl is very soft with all the fat so it was good. The cold noodle was a bit disappointing for me as I felt like it was quite tasteless for us, so I don't recommend it. I love the kimchi stew as it is not too salty and tasteless like other places. The broccoli banchan is super good. We refilled it for like 7 times because all of our family enjoyed it. The customer service is good as they sometimes notice that your side dishes need to be refilled and do it for you without being asked, so that's a plus for the service. It costs us a bit more than $40+/person, so it was not too expensive considering it's in LA. Overall a very positive experience and recommend it!

Super good food! Came for dinner with a group of people and the service was outstanding. Love the outdoor waiting area. Totally accommodating for larger parties. Definitely going back again!

Excellent food! Sauces are very tasty and good quality meat. Lots of greens to balance the meal. Excellent servers. Please note they do not serve food outdoors at lunch time, only for dinner on Weekends. Will not serve outdoor on weekdays/weeknights.

This place was amazing!!!!! I have never been to a Korean BBQ before even though I am comfortable with most cuisines. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and we pride our self on great food. We were visiting Los Angeles with my family that have flown over from the UK. My daughter's friend suggested this place because she comes to Los Angeles quite often because her uncle lives here . Food was absolutely Amazing, My wife delicious and the service was fantastic. I had no idea what to order so I ordered a set meal for 3 to 4 people and added two orders of shrimp and one order of teriyaki chicken and one order of spicy Chicken for the six people in our party. When we arrived there was kimchi, salad, spicy tofu, fantastic flavored sauces and a couple other dishes as we sat down complementary. That was amazing because we were really hungry and could start eating away. When they brought out all the protein that they were going to Cooke, we were shocked and thought it would be way too much to eat it wasn't. We devoured all the food as it was made, while seeing it being cooked before us and gave us a little break in between each protein. The bill was only $280 for six people, including Drinks the bill Price blew me away. It was the best dining experience I've had in a couple of years and one of the cheapest for that amount of people . Great job keep doing what you're doing
Stole 80$ from me
They ‚accidentally’ booked 80$ more from my credit card than the amount on the bill. Was given an email address to contact but they never bothered to answer. I live abroad and noticed too late. would definitely not recommend!!!
Dinner in Los Angeles, CA
One of my favorite Korean BBQ in the area! Came here late Saturday night around 11pm and it was packed!!! Had to wait about 45 mins for a table for 2. Highly recommend the Premium Marinated Beef Bone-In Short Rib!!! The Beef Brisket is good too! They give a decent amount of banchans (complimentary sides) and the Steamed Egg Soup was really good.
Great KBBQ!
Quarters uses Resy Reservation (They block certain times on purpose- downside), was initially told the wait would be 45 mins but when the server asked our preference (inside or out), we were open to both and the wait changed from 45 to 2 mins. The Banchan was already at the table – kimchi, salad, green onion salad, rice paper, radish kimchi, sweet potato, tofu, broccoli, steamed egg and rice (need to ask for it) Ordered combo #2; beef belly, boneless short ribs, grilled bulgogi and pork jowl. This really does serve 2-3 people, if you are bigger party getting the large makes sense you are only pay $51 per person with tax and tip vs what we paid which was $62 each total $124 for both of us. I was surprised they put cheese in a tin cup and added it to the grill but quickly became a fan of the fondue, it was addicting!! Our server Crystal was very fast and friendly, I don’t think we ever picked up any of the cooking tools, they do it all for you! They do cook at a fast pace – Just remember you are also paying for the ambience so, if need be, tell them to slow it down =)
Super positive experience!!
I'm just saying that I would like to return to LA, also to have dinner again in this cool restaurant!! They don't take reservations, only "physical" queuing. You get there and leave your name on the list but the wait, sometimes quite long, is really worth it... In the center of the table you will find a barbecue and already some typical things to eat. Then you order what you want, but the guys who work there are super nice, they give you a hand by trying to make you understand what to eat 🤣. Truly delicious food and prices in line with the city! In truth, the two of us spent around $150 including tip, which to be honest, are the same prices I find in the Sicilian city where I live!

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Bid and Buy Instantly
I have a big ongoing and it also shows someone is working on my bid. Today I see there is a " Buy Instantly " option at my portfolio showing same price I've bid for a reservation. I'm a bit confused, since my money has already been deducted from my credit card for the bid, do I need to pay one more time for the Buy Instantly? If I choose Buy Instantly, can I cancel my bid ( while someone is working on it )? Thanks!

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!
