Dirty with drug users.
The establishment was dirty and we was kept up all night. The tv didn’t work. The staff were not helpful at all. We left a night early and lost the money not offered a refund and was treated appallingly by the customer services here name was karolina who ended up putting the phone down on us was no help at all. I wouldn’t dream of taking children to this hotel it is awful. Neighbours partying all night shouting. It was more like a hostel than a hotel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR STAY AT THIS DOSS HOUSE. You will be treated like scum.
Be the first to ReplyCleaning was non existant.
I stayed here for 13 nights, I asked on 2 Occasions for my room to be cleaned, they called in and never hoovered up or changed the bedding they also left dirty cups. I complained to reception the second time and I offered to clean the room myself. The receptionist went to check the room and was embarrased, she actually done the cleaning herself, she also apologised and left a gift in my room. The Standards are low here compared to other Hotels in the same price range.

We had another great night in Chester. Stayed at The Premier Inn again. Great location to town centre. Friendly staff and lovely all you can eat breakfast. We came with friends and the only negative was we were on floor 1 and they were given the 3rd floor, which was a bit annoying as we usually are opposite each others rooms and can pop over to borrow items we have packed for each other.

Stayed for my Birthday. It’s Just a short distance from the railway station. You can store your bags here if your early and go into the city centre. It has a resturant which serves evening meals and breakfast plus a bar. We only stayed one night, but will be back again.

Booked in while attending company conference down at the racecourse which is within walking distance to the hotel. Clean and cosy room with all the usual amenities you expect from a budget hotel. Would stay again if ever visiting Chester in the future.

This is a great Premier Inn, close to the train station and all shops and restaurants. Limited on site parking but there are plenty of places to park alongside or just use the train. We stayed for two nights and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We don’t have an evening meal due to the amount of other local eateries in the city Center, but we did indulge for Breakfast. Which set us up for the day of exploring the Center.

Reception staff were very accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Room was light and airy, and the beds are comfy. The centre of Chester isn't too far either. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Will be staying again!

Came to Chester on the train for a night out with friends. Hotel is a short, straight, easy walk from the station. On arrival I was greeted by 2 friendly staff members Liv and Ant, who assisted me in upgrading my room to a premium one. Very helpful amd attentive. Room is spacious, shower was great. Comfy work station. Overall very happy with my stay. Good price. Clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Came here last week for business, had a great stay, nice- clean and professional. Thank you for making me feel welcome whilst being away from home. Great location! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team I encountered
Be the first to ReplyPerfect place for a couple of nights stay
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had booked for a cot, however upon arrival there was not one in the room. The staff were really apologetic and corrected this promptly. Everything you need in one place. Will definitely be going back! There is parking however it is very limited and would be easier to book in advance. Close to train station but can not hear from hotel and right by the canal.

A little dated and keycards a big problem… but brilliantly friendly staff, food breakfast and dinner was brilliant and room was clean and functional, albeit a little basic. But it’s premier inn, what you see is what you get! Thank you to your team
Be the first to ReplyHOTEL GREAT BREAKFAST APALLING
The hotel is good, basic but does what it says on the tin, The breakfast however was apalling, no tables cleared, no pastries, no juices, no lactose free options, the hotplate was very poorly stocked and what was there was dried out., stale bread. Lazy staff just wandering round. Dining room was disgusting, we had to clean our own table before we could be seated, all the tables had not been cleaned and prevous guests leftovers were still at the tables.

Bed was good and comfy but it’s was small things that annoyed me. The toilet roll dispenser in room is rubbish as you end up wasting so much paper just trying to get one sheet out. The bathroom looked like a winter wonderland with all the torn off bits of paper as I fought with the dispenser to get one full sheet. We weren’t informed about the additional charges for the meal deal if you bought meat dishes. I’m not a fan of mushrooms but for some reason every dish is served with a large fried mushroom. The coffee and porridge was actually good with a good selection of fruit. Doesn’t seem to have any parking other than on street.

Have stayed here a number of times while visiting this city. 5 mins walk from railway station and car park (£8 a day). Usually very good service however this time there was a delay at check in due to a staff meeting. Staff were very apologetic and gave everyone a complimentary drink while waiting. However this caused a long queue for check in when it was allowed 30 mins later. Also refurbishment work being carried out on the floor about and had builders stomping about at 7am. Complained on the website using feedback but never had any replies. Food here is very good and staff are always polite and helpful, rooms clen and always of a very good standard. Will stay here again.

Check in and check out very good. The room was cold and took a while to warm up but after room was comfortable. The shower also took an age to warm up. The food was satisfactory both at breakfast and the evening meal. Best thing about the hotel is the very friendly staff

Overall the hotel is good, the staff are friendly, the location is good and we had a great nights sleep. Chester is a lovely place to visit. Breakfast was good, as you can usually expect. The room could do with modernising, but everything was functional.

We are a group of 4. So we needed 2 rooms. Both decorated to a good standard. Lovely long bath. Bed a bit hard for me, but hubby was fine with it. Checking in was easy, staff very friendly. We chose to check out about 9am and it was very easy as we just placed our door keys in a sealed box. Only negative, I was phoned the day before to be told the car park would be closed, so we had to park at The Railway, which is not too far, if it isnt raining. Will return again, when we plan another weekend away.

Stayed here on numerous occasions but this time was poor. Arrived and waited in reception for ages. Lady eventually arrived and apologised as she was in her own. She was having to deal with delivery drivers dropping new mattresses off. More reception staff required when expecting deliveries like this. Couldn’t check in yet so left bags. Arrived back at the hotel around 9pm to find the bed hadn’t been made. This was rectified fairly quickly and had a drink in the bar whilst waiting. Finally got into the room to then find the bathroom floor soaking wet so we wiped this up and then found Blood or faeces on the bathroom wall near the toilet holder. Didn’t say anything the next day as there was no staff around!
Be the first to ReplyPoor service, poor breakfast and no parking
On arrival to the hotel I was informed the carpark was closed and needed to park down the road, they offered for me to drop my bags if i donated to the charity box. that was just wrong. The staff were just chatting at the bar had to ask 3 times to get checked in by then there was a queue of 5 people. The room was noisy due to other residents, the hotel are not responsible for this but it was a pain. The breakfast consisted of dried out hash browns, dehydrated sausage and hard bacon. The beans were also cold. Very unhappy with this experience and it was shrugged off by the staff. NOT what i usually get at a premier Inn and I use them a lot accross the UK.

Friendly and helpful staff. The cooked breakfast was delicious. The cappuccinos were lovely. Spacious bedroom and comfy bed. We have stayed in a Premier Inn before and this one did not disappoint. Would be happy to stay here again.

Be the first to ReplyGreat location
Great location. Although very short staffed, the staff that were there were very polite and welcoming.
The staff were spread very thin. They were so overworked I couldn’t bring myself to complain to them about the mould around the soap dispenser over the bath, or the skid marks that were in the toilet when we arrived.
There was two members of staff who had to deal with everyone in the first night. One was trying to serve food and drink, take food orders, and seat guests. Whilst the other member of staff was stuck at the front desk with someone complaining there was no slippers in her room( it’s a budget hotel!!) both staff members dealt with the whole night like true professionals. A credit to the company.
The second evening we had someone new who didn’t communicate with the other staff members, he let two people in 45 mins early and didn’t tell anyone which led to confusion and he tried to come and take our drink and food order after it had already been taken. His professionalism around the table area was very lacking as after taking an order from another table he turned around and we could clearly see him roll his eyes and huff to another member of staff who was off duty eating and drinking alcohol at a table for the guests.
Communication between staff could really be worked on. This is the only Premier Inn that I have been to where there isn’t a member of staff constantly on the front. Even in other ones we have been to in the past, members of staff have had to nip off to do jobs but as soon as you press the buzzer they are there. This location the member of staff took ages. This could be the fact that they are so short staffed. Although on our last night there, we went to pay and all members of staff including one not on shift were all huddled around in the bar area rather than checking guests. To top it off the beds were very uncomfortable and I could get a good night sleep.
Overall, a good location, but lacking in the usual Premier Inn experience that we are used too.
Excellent Hotel
A very pleasant stay at Premier Inn, it was close to the city centre, on site parking was limited but parking at rail station was easy and cheaper. Beds were comfortable and room clean didn’t eat in hotel as there are plenty of places to eat nearby
