Must try the Rosa!
So happy to that there was valet parking. We arrived around 4:00 pm and we were seated immediately. The place is small. The service was immediate. The homage mozzarella was really too much for two but it was delicious served with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil and olive oil. The bread was amazing. We order a margarita pizza and a Rosa. The margarita was very similar what is served in Italy. Nice thin crust. The Rosa was very different and creative. Rosa has pistachios, red onions, Parmigiano Reggiano. Loved it. Woukd go back again
Be the first to ReplyPizza was good but poor customer service ruined itโฆ
Pizza was good but customer service ruined itโฆ After waiting almost 2 hours for a table, we were seated inside and waited for acknowledgment. Our flighty waitress who was more concerned with flirting and socializingโฆ.first forgot our drinksโฆ.AND then after many tables ate after us, we realized she also forgot to put in our order!!!!! She actually never came to our table again after that. It was obvious she was avoiding us. After our son finally asked the pizza chef if any of those were oursโฆwe received our pizzas with no explanation or apologies. We know they were aware because our bill was discounted nearly 50%, but still with no acknowledgment or apology. Sadly wouldnโt go back just because of the lack of customer service.
Be the first to ReplySecond time here, as satisfying as the first, but it ain't New Haven quality pie
Pizza is like politics: everyone has an opinion, everyone is right. But there is debate to make it interesting. I've eaten here twice. The first time was 2020 before the Netflix episode and we didn't have any wait. The second was 2024 and this one had a nearly 2 hour wait. The pizza was excellent both times but it isn't the scrumptious, legendary pie we get in New Haven, CT at Sally's Apizza. The sauce at PB isn't as tasty as Sally's, the crust isn't as chewy and crispy with that perfect char that coal-fired ovens seem to produce so well. Will ai come back a third time? You bet: PB is a treat even with the wait.
Be the first to ReplyHigh Expectations and Great Disappointment
We've been meaning to try this location for years and finally decided to find out if the food matches the hype. NOT by far!! Don't believe the hype and Netflix!!! To say the pizza is mediocre would be a very generous statement. We got there at 11:30 and waited 30min to be seated. The restaurant is in a beautiful area and the place itself is very appealing. The service was superb and the star of the show. The gentleman who served us was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered two pizzas, margherita and wiseguy, and both were burnt, but the wiseguy was flavorless... like eating a piece of warm cardboard. One would think that roasted onions, smoked mozzarella, and fennel sausage would be a lovely combination of flavors, but not here... warm and dry cardboard. The best thing we had here was the bread and olive oil. To say this is the best pizza place in America is a bad joke! I wish Chris Bianco tried the pizza we were served to see what he'd say... We cannot recommend this place as we will never return!
Be the first to ReplyAll Pizza Should Be This Good.
Because of the accolades bestowed on Pizzeria Bianco, I would be remiss not joining the pilgrims to this joint. Chris Bianco, master of the pies, blazes 6 categories of these circles in his wood fired oven. I fell for the Rosa, a white pie crowned with pistachios, red onions, Parmigiano Reggiano and probably some other magical ingredients. This is what you want for your last meal.................. all pizza should be this good.
Be the first to ReplyAfter 2 hours waiting, bad surprise
Disappointed. Ordered 3 pizzas, 2 came over cooked and very charred at the bottom, could not finished one, send back the second. The manager was very kind to refund both, but that does not fix the issue. I knew they were supposed to be a little charred because of the wood fire oven, but these were barely edible, of course dry and the char overcame the dough taste. The third one was balanced and it was good, but I cannot accept that the best pizzeria in US has 2 out of 3 wrong. Also the manager admitted that they do not always check the bottomโฆreally???

Pizza was good. I had to wait over2hours to get in and get the pizza . there is a bar next-door you can wait in and take any unfinished alcohol over to the pizza parlor. But you cannot take pizza into the bar.

With all the hype, I was excited, maybe too excited. This just did not meet the mark for amazing pizza. It was okay pizza, over priced for sure. I tried two, the white and the pistachio. The fresh mozzarella was delicious, but the rest of it was mediocre. Many places are better.
Be the first to ReplyGood Neapolitan Pizza
Went on a weekday afternoon about 1:30, no waiting for indoor seating! Good service, 3 of us, we each ordered a pizza, with leftovers to take home. Nice flavorful thin crust ! Menu not very big!

I saw this place on Netflix, so I knew I had to visit! In reading reviews, there were two common themes that I can attest to. First, go for lunch. Even when they opened at 11am , there was about an hour wait. That wait only got longer as time went on. So, the earlier the better. Two, the food was AMAZING! I had the wise guy pizza and loved it. Even took another pie to go! Great and friendly service. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Phoenix!
Be the first to ReplyWowโฆunique and wonderful
The variety of pizzas were unique and delicious! The bread was amazing. The salads were very fresh. A really unique experience. TIP: get there when they open for a short wait.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth itโs reputation
Not worth the wait or the hype. The reputation is manufactured. There is no reason they canโt be more efficient and move customers in and out in a reasonable manner. The pizza is mediocre at best. The margherita pie was runny, soggy and bland. The signature Rosa was bitter, tasted only of parmasean cheese and was dry. The wiseguy pie was ok but nothing you couldnโt get at a hole in the wall NYC place. All had burned crusts. Totally not worth it and wouldnโt go back.
Be the first to ReplyService good pizza bad
We arrived just as the town and country opened. I liked the ambiance of the place quite nice. Service was excellent we were seated quickly and had our pizza in no time. My rating comes completely from the quality of the pizza. Both pizzas we ordered were burnt black on the bottom yet the middle parts were soggy and limp. Ingredients were apparently thrown on after the cheese and dough were cooked so they never incorporated into the pie. The crust was quite tasteless but chewy which I like. Overall it was not a good pizza even though these guys are hyped as having amazing pizzas.
Be the first to ReplySorely lacking in every way
Best Pizza in America โฆNot! A destination that rests on its laurels. Two decades ago โฆ Maybe?? But now with the proliferation of Neopolitan greatness across the country. Forget about it! Two stars onlyโฆfor zesty tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella. Incredibly slow service and a staff that couldnโt be bothered โฆ35 minutes to bake a pie with less than 20 clients in the house? A dough that tastes like burned pita bread. At such a high price point too. Overratedโฆ Well? Perhaps not โฆreviews seem to be slipping into the dreaded 3 zone!
Be the first to ReplyIf pizza is just pizza to you, donโt go here. If you can appreciate locally sourced, artisan pizza, youโll be thrilled!
The pizza at Pizzeria Bianco is really outstanding, especially if you can appreciate the taste of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, wood fired ovens and details like drizzling olive oil on the pizza when it comes out. If you canโt appreciate or are able to rationalize the cost of the above, this will be an awful experience for you. If you can, youโll realize how good the pizza.
Be the first to ReplyDoesn't live up to they hype
Is it good pizza? Yes. Is it worth a two hour wait? Maybe Is it the best pizza I have ever had? Absolutely not. Is it worth the price? Nope I went here with a few friends as we had heard it was rated as the best pizza place in the US. There was a two hour wait (on a Monday night) but they have a bar beside it with nice tables outside so the wait was comfortable. The pizzas are pretty small, we each ate a whole pizza. We each ordered a different pizza and shared around the table. They were certainly good, but not worth what we paid for them. I can think of two pizza places I enjoyed more just in the past few months (Wyo Dough in Cody, WY and nearly any Chicago Pizza). The pizzas come out quick, which was nice, but the crust was overcooked for my taste.
Be the first to ReplyWorth A Visit
We visited the Heritage Hills location. We were seated within about 10 minutes of our arrival. We visited the liquor house next door and the Old Fashion was one of the best we have had. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and added the grilled onion and prosciutto . The salad was also tasty. We shared the salad and one pizza and it was plenty. They provided complimentary bread and olive oil when we sat down. The food was very very good. The seating is very limited so hence the long waits. They only take one order during your visit so make sure and order appropriately for your party. I enjoyed the visit very much. I did feel like the staff was very stressed shuffling customers in and out.
Be the first to ReplyOver-hyped, Over-priced, Low Service
It was underwhelming. Maybe my expectations were too high for small, thin crust $26 pizza. Waited 90 minutes to get in, then the waitress gave us a bunch of rules, like they'll only take one order, nothing can be added, and other things I didn't really listen to. Just seemed "rulesy." They didn't give us a single reason to return.
Be the first to ReplyDoesnโt live up to its reputation
The pizza is said to be the best in Arizona as well as one of the best in the country. I am a native New Yorker and have had great pizza. Sorry to say this restaurant is far from the best. Pizza is has a cracker like design and not very tasty. Place was jammed and the servers couldnโt keep up with the demand. Have had much better pizza in AZ.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the wait nor the hype.
This restaurant has been given such excellent reviews in Phoenix that we had to see what all the commotion was about. Attempted to eat dinner here on numerous occasions in the past, but was never been able to get in due to the long wait. First, the restaurant never answers the phone. They never take reservations. We waited over an hour to be seated. Waitress was attentive and extremely nice. The food however, was a complete disappointment and did not live up to the hype or our expectation. We ordered the Biancoverde pizza, the two wash ranch chicken cacciatore, and the lasagna. Biancoverde pizza: The crust was soggy. The cheese was congealed and salty. Two wash ranch chicken cacciatore: The menu states it comes with risotto, but this was boiled white rice. The chicken had grizzle and the flavor was completely off. We sent the chicken back. One positive was while waiting for our table. We sat in the bar and had an order of the roasted vegetables which were delicious. All in all, this restaurant was hardly worth the wait. A complete disappointment.
Be the first to ReplyLives up to the hype but bring your patience
We hadn't heard of this place until we saw the Chef's Table episode on Netflix, but it is worth the hype it has and continues to receive. This location is about 5 minutes from the airport. It was our first stop after landing in PHX. They were quoting everyone a 3-5 hour wait but said it would likely be between 2-3 hours. Indeed, it took exactly 2.5 hours for us to be seated. They have a separate bar restaurant next door where you can wait, although you can go anywhere close by and they'll text you when your table is ready. Don't go too far because you only have 5 minutes to show up before they give your table to someone else. I guess this is why the actual wait time is less than the real wait time. :) We spent $75 on 3 wine, 2 beer, a plate of salami, and a plate of bread/oil at the bar while we waited. They have some free board and card games to help pass the time too. Everyone that was waiting with us was friendly. We spoke with a couple from Phoenix that endorsed it as the best pizza, and they come often when guests are visiting from out of town, or during times when it's not busy, which is rare and mostly dependent on weather. We spent $75 more in the restaurant on the Margherita pizza, Wiseboy pizza, and appetizer. It was honestly the best pizza ever. Obviously it's quite different than your typical Chicago or New York style pizza, and it's way more authentic than your typical brick oven-baked pizza down the street. The ingredient and flavor combinations are unobvious but outstanding. The locals we chatted to recommended the Rosa pizza but there was only so much room in our stomachs. The prosciutto-wrapped fontina cheese appetizer was cooked to perfection and highly recommended. Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly. If you have the patience to wait 3 hours for the best pizza in your life, it's totally worth it!

We arrived at 1:30 on a Friday. The hostess said it would be 1:45 hour wait. We came special just because we saw a special about this place so we decided to wait. Service is ***really slow. One table sat dirty for almost an hour. Then they cleaned it and it sat empty for another 45 minutes. At one point only 2 of the dozen outdoor tables had customers at them. I inquired at the hostess station multiple times but she stuck to her original time estimate. Once we were eventually seated they said it would be almost another hour for pizzas to come out so order something else. The pizza itself was decent but far from the exemplary I was expecting . Not even in my top 10. In the end our dinner for two was almost $150-200 for two pizzas a pasta and 2 rounds of drinks .
Be the first to ReplyLove wood fired pizza
Our first time at Pizzeria Bianco. They were on a wait, so we headed to the bar next door. The wait was short & beverages could be taken to the restaurant. We were seated at the bar & enjoyed watching pizzas being prepared in the huge brick oven. Crusty bread served before pizza. Pizza was delicious crispy goodness! We left with 2 bags of cookies - Wonderful!!
Be the first to ReplyRestaurant has 2 locations
The 3 of us first went to the downtown Phoenix location and at 11:15, there was a 1.5-2 hour wait. The restaurant is quite small so the turnover is slow. My daughter knew there was a second location in the Town and Country area so we drove there and was seated right away. The restaurant was considerably larger and would recommend going to this location. We have been to Italy several times lately so we are tough critics. Our crust was burnt black so we didnโt eat that. The ingredients were fresh and we thought the pizza was very good.
Be the first to ReplyWow, Still the Best
Like many reviewers we love pizza and consider thin crust, wood fired pizza to be the best. We have eaten at Pizzeria Bianco a few times over the years and it's still amazing. Our waiter has been serving there for 25 years and was as kind and helpful as could be. Go very early (we were a table of six and went at 4:00pm and waited 1.5 hours for a table) and drink wine next door while you wait. Don't miss Pizzeria Bianco unless your headed to Italy!
