The food was amazing and Elideth was a very sweet and knowledgeable server. The gnocchi had so much flavor and the seafood pasta special was lightly creamy and just enough. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Small but cozy, boho decor for the outdoor sitting area. The food is delicious. Paired with Etena wine (highly recommend, it's Sicilian's local favorite)
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for the table side tiramisu service.
Ordered a chicken salad to start which was ok, though it was a large portion. For the crowd-pleaser, we had to order one tiramisu each. It was fun to watch our desserts in the making but I have definitely had better tasting tiramisus pre-made. The layers weren't all there as they had to pre-make the filling. Super tight tables but the outdoor covered parkettes seem to have more space. They also have another restaurant around the corner which I think they also offer the table side tiramisu service.

Decent place with decent dishes, but none of them blew my mind... except for the bread, we had so much. Complementary bread (5/5) - The bread was baked wonderfully, soft but a delightful chew. Plus they had an olive oil concoction, olive oil mixed with tiny cherry/tomato bits, to drizzle on the bread - rich, sweet, sour, amazing. We probably asked for 3 refills. Octopus (4.5/5) - The octopus was tender. It could have been crispier on the outside for better texture variation. The hummus base was very tasty though, soak it up with the bread and it's wonderful! Meatballs (4/5) - Good meaty taste and juicy, but didn't have a whole lot of other flavor. Tagliatelle Verdi (4/5) - Just ok. Love the truffle essence. The wild boar ragu wasn't particularly flavorful, wish it provided a more savoriness. The pasta was cooked fine. The sauce was salty though, not a fan. Tiramisu (4/5) - They make it table-side for you, it is a spectacle. The marscapone cream is wonderful - light but rich, slightly sweet. However, since it's made table-side, the butterfingers haven't had any time to soak. As a result, the espresso flavor wasn't strong at all. But some butterfingers were still crunchy, which was interesting.

we came on a Wednesday night they were pretty busy but the line moved fasted. Squeezed j to a corner in the outdoor shed it was uncomfortable but we looked past it as it was busy. The service was poor, we felt like we were overlooked multiple times in such a small space. The pastas we ordered were both heavy on the tomato and acidity. We got the gnocchi and tagliatelle. The table side tiramisu was fun to watch but the lady fingers were super dry and not soaked enough. Overall the food didn't match the price but at least we got free bread
Be the first to ReplyGiving 5 stars mainly for the table side Tiramisu.
Such a unique experience. Saw a video on social media and had to bookmark and try it out myself The portion is small so I would recommend getting your own. Too small (and good) to share. It was just two of us so not sure if they offer bigger portions but doesn't hurt to ask if you go with a bigger party. .
Be the first to ReplyGreat little Italian spot in soho.
All the food was delicious, we especially loved our pasta dishes. Both the Caesar salad and tiramisu were made table-side which was a nice touch. The servers and staff were all wonderful. Definitely check it out.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful experience.
Ambience was inviting, cozy, romantic. The food was delicious, good portions, and inexpensive if you don't have wine. A couple next to us ordered a full bottle and they raved about it. The staff was super friendly, kudos to Cinzia! She was attentive, kind and had a great sense of humor! Made the whole experience and ver pleasant one!

I have to give this place a 1 because it was far from the hype. When you see a place 4.5 and people waiting it must be good. However the food was extremely salty and the salad was loaded with dressing. It didn't even taste good, plus we crammed into a shoebox. It was not good honestly I have had so much better Italian like Don Angie.

Was put inside one of those outdoor sheds when the restaurant was empty. The shed smelled like cleaning detergent. The food at this location is terrible. My pasta was not al dente, the dishes were extremely small for the price, and everything was too salty. Service was okay except for one miserable looking water boy. Definitely do not recommend this location. There's an uptown one my wife said is much better

Sooo good!! Looks small and random on the outside but on the inside it's homey and cozy, maybe a little cramped. Lovedd both our pastas and the desert was amazing! Our server was great and everything was clean and neat. Some of the best pasta I've had!
Be the first to ReplySome of the best Italian I've ever had.
Maccheroni alla Norma and the caponata/hummus/guacamole trio are both fantastic, especially the caponata.

Got here and waited 35 mins past my reservation time to get seated. Wasn't happy but it is what it is. Luckily the main food made it worthwhile.Funny enough, I went for the tiramisu to see what the rave reviews about made at the table tiramisu were all about. Skeptical because it's a dessert that always tastes better when it sits overnight... well that's true. The tiramisu wasn't great. The mascarpone was a bit too creamy and a bit too sweet for me, and the ladyfingers stayed crunchy and didn't absorb any flavor. Would not recommend the tiramisu. The eggplant parmigiana had to be the best I've ever had. It's so tender and juicy it just melts away, and it's stuffed with a savory cheese. Not sure but maybe parmesan or fontina or a Gouda. And then the sauce on top is a tomato marinara like sauce, with pesto drizzle, and what looked like cheese mozzarella shavings? Idk but it was phenomenal. And the agnolotti with lamb ragu was also excellent. A rosemary lamb ragu, a bit of cream, with dried mushrooms. Would go back for sure.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food.
Great quality. Lobster linguine and gnocchi both incredible but the ultimate highlight of the meal was the lemon cheesecake.

Tiny...very tiny, but packed with ambience, delicious food, attentive service and a well constructed wine list. The Tagliatelle Verdi with wild boar is scrumptious and well balanced with their signature red sauce and thinly sliced truffles on top. The Eggplant Parmigiana is subtle and prepared to perfection. The staff never lets your wine glass go empty and the Cannoli is a sweet finish to a great experience. If you don't mind the tight quarters, just go.

My sis was really intrigued by this place so we had to give it a go.The bread they bring to the table is very nice and the tomato olive oil has a really good umami bit that goes really well with it. Just wish they gave us a little more of it.Veal Loin with Truffle and Capers- damn, this dish tastes like the best variant of roast beef I've ever had. It's so soft and meaty and accented REALLY well by the sauce and truffle which adds earthy and refreshing notes. Would highly recommend ordering this as an appetizer to split. 9/10.Spinach Tagliatelle with Wild Boar-Ah, the famed green pasta that's so popular here... is I think, very overrated. While the overall flavors are nice and the pasta is good and chewy, I don't think it's worth the hype it gets . The truffle does add something to the sauce, but overall, the sauce is just okay to begin with and the novelty of the green pasta (which likely just has spinach kneaded into it) doesn't add much to the dish either. It's pretty good, but I definitely prefer the other two dishes we ordered by far. I'd say it's about a 6-7/10 at best.Mushroom Agnolotti with Lamb Ragu and Porcini Mushrooms-really good flavors in this one and I think the strong earthiness of the mushrooms in the pasta and sauce goes really well with the stinky gaminess of the lamb in the ragu. Would definitely get again, 8.5/10.Tiramisu- the novelty of having this made at the table as well as the fact that it actually tastes very good makes this basically a must try. The ladyfingers are still a little crunchy and that sweet, rich mascarpone goes so well with the coffee. 9/10. Overall, I would say this place is VERY good for the price point. The service is very nice and attentive and most of the dishes are complete hits. I would say to skip the spinach tagliatelle and go for other options but that's just me lol. Will probably come back when I'm in the neighborhood.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was really great! I love the pan dishes.
The outside seating is beautiful, everything matches. The interior is nice too but small. The staff was also really nice and funny, and even charged my phone!

The Sardines bucatini was lowkey my favorite dish of the night.Quaint, rustic, and homey. Great food, great vibes. Small shop with some tables in their outdoor setup, but they do deliver on some of the best pasta I've had in the city. Not sure what is authentic Sicilian cuisine, but in terms of flavors this place is bomb and hard to beat.My gf got the boar ragu and we also got the stuffed calamaris to share. They had a lobster pasta as a special but instead wanted something that wasn't too clunky to eat so I got the sardine bucatini in their regular menu. Sardine bucatini - Red sauce based, super flavorful and aromatic. Bites of sardins really add a pop of sea-flavors in a tomatoey based broth. Bucatini was slightly in between al dente and cooked thru - don't mind that Boar ragu - Delicious. Big portionsStuffed calamari - Wow cooked to perfection.Total bill including a glass of house wine was ~$100 tax and tip not included

What a gem of a Italian restaurant we found this week in NYC! I thought that they had authentic Italian recipes at least from my perspective & fresh ingredients. Loved the bruschetta and Ravioli but do save some space for the incredible Tiramisu dessert that they make directly at your table - make sure your camera is ready! Note that the restaurant has limited seating so get there a little early or call ahead for a reservation - else you'll be in for a wait. The service staff is polite, efficient & quick so you should not be in line for long.
Be the first to ReplyFood and service are both great.
We made reservations and we still had to wait a bit for the table. It was packed. Tight space but with good company any meal is enjoyable. We ordered some appetizers - the burrata and bruschetta were both good. We ordered some white wine for the table which was nice and fruity. For the main course we all ordered different kinds of pasta I enjoyed mine which was the langoustine fusilli, others enjoyed the sea bass in a white lemon sauce, roasted chicken with potatoes. Their lemon cheese cake was my absolute favorite dessert. It was so light and airy. Everyone also enjoyed the tiramisu and cannoli I had a bite of everything and it was fantastic.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed.
The service is cordial and efficient, but the food was inferior. The squash blossoms were sodden rather than crisp and light. (When were they made?) The eggplant (barely there) in the pasta a la Norma was mushy and the whole dish drowned in a murky sauce. Where are the simple bright notes that a good Norma can deliver? You get the overall impression that the kitchen knows how to do these things correctly but is either overly rushed or careless.
Be the first to ReplyWaiters are nice and the vibe is good.
I order the lobster pasta and couldn't finish it. The portion is larger than I thought, and the taste is not as surprising.

A return visit and I still love this place! They have an updated menu and there are several things I'd like to try - so I'll be back. At this lunch we had the grilledoctopus with hummus & homemade purple potato chips, sardines beccafico (delicious but they were not stuffed as they should have been), risotto with fresh tuna & pistachio pestoand bucatini con sarde (which was good but should NOT have cheese on it! Fried breadcrumbs, please!). The tiramisu is literally made in front of you table side. The service was outstanding.
