This location on paseo and San Pedro has to be that worst
This location on paseo and San Pedro has to be that worst Panda Express in the city. They have been out of teriyaki chicken for a month now. Customer service is horrible they are mean people. Also always out of items on the menu.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Such that I took time to write this: I often go to this location because it is near my home. On more than half of my visits they are either out of Teriyaki Chicken or Chow Mein or something else as early as 8pm with 2 hours still left to serve. Today, the sign said "No Teriyaki Chicken" at 6pm. I attempted to ask the girl through the intercom if they were expecting to have more. She snarkily, replied "Read the sign!". After collecting myself, I ordered 2 entree plates and 2 eggrolls (with a substitute for Teriyaki that I didn't really want). After being told it would be 8 minutes for the egg rolls, I asked to have it removed from my ticket. As I was waiting for my food I asked the young kid "Matthew" at the window if the issue with the Teriyaki chicken was inventory or preparation. He stared at me blankly and completely ignored me. I asked the question again and again he ignored me, this time completely turning away from me to stare at the register. When he turned back to me, he still did not answer. Instead he continued to stare at me and then said "There are other cars in line behind you." I stated that I was aware of that, but that it was odd that he was ignoring my question and that I was waiting for an answer. Instead of providing ANY answer, he just started smiling and laughing at me. He told me my charge of $22 and paid and then began to drive off. Thinking about the bill amount and wanting to make sure it was accurate I began to search for a receipt only to realize he had NOT given me one. I pulled to the front of the store where the door was open whereas the coke vendor was moving inventory in. Trying not to go too far past the threshhold as the lobby was closed, I called to the worker to let them know that i did not receive a receipt and was trying to obtain one. The young lady told me I would have to go back out to my car and get in line behind the 8 cars that had lined up to ask any questions. I tried to inform her that I had already waited and ordered and did not feel it was appropriate to have to wait in line again while my food got cold to get a receipt. They again told me to get in the car line. The whole time "Matthew" was staring at me and laughing. I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager on duty. I was then told that they were going to call the police on me. I expressed my right to get a receipt as "Matthew" continued his taunt and they threatened to call the police. Fortunately, ONE employee (I hope I got his name right) David stepped up as I was asking for a manager. He stated that although he was not a manager he wanted to help. I explained the situation to him and he attempted to get me my receipt. He returned stating that he could not retrieve it. (?) He explained the issue with the Teriyaki chicken being the grill and apologized for his co-worker's behavior. Now, I don't even have a receipt to tie to my complaint, so here I am online. This kid "Matthew" should NOT be employed in customer service and the young man "David" should be promoted or at the very least recognized for doing the right job despite the ENTIRE remainder of the team being apathetic and unprofessional. WHERE IS THE MANAGER?? The one employee David is the only reason this location gets its 1 star.
Be the first to ReplyOk so when it comes to Panda Express there are good ones
Ok so when it comes to Panda Express there are good ones and there are bad ones, this one is by far the worst Panda Express I have been to. I decided to go to the drive-through because we decided to take it home after a day on the go. I started my order and was told that there were at least 3 items they were out of which were their Ragoons, Beef Angus, and a chicken dish. This was interesting because it was only 6 pm which is usually the peak of a dinner rush. I ordered 2 plates and a kid's meal along with 2 orders of spring rolls. When I got to the window and paid, the drive-through person said that they only had 1 order of spring rolls and it would be another 7min if I wanted to wait, I said no thank you and asked for a refund on the spring rolls, whiched seemed to confuse him because he stated that they don't do refunds. I asked to talk to the manager and a person who acted like one decided to pull $1.50 cash from the till and told the drive-through person to give it to me. This was interesting because I paid with my card and then I also asked if the spring rolls were $2.00 and he said no that they were $1.50 which was a lie. I also asked for a receipt to which he replied that he can't because they were out of receipt paper. So with that and our order, we decided to drive around the front and my wife went inside to talk to the manager who was able to provide a number for us to call and at least the receipt number and that was it. Once we got home to enjoy our meal it was also wrong. So be careful at this particular Panda Express their customer service is poor at best and needs to be restructured. I am speaking from experience as I do work in the food industry.
Be the first to ReplyLet me start by saying I really like Panda Express.
I received coupons that are intended to promote the company and its products. One was a buy one get one and the other was for a free drink (no purchase necessary). I went through the drive through and placed the order I told them I was using coupons. When I arrived at the payment window I was informed that I couldn't use 2 coupons even though 1 required no purchase. So I took my order and drove around the building and placed my order for a drink only. Now it was accepted. The fact that a manager (or common sense employee) would make someone drive around the building again speaks volumes about how this operation is run. On top of that they didn't give me my entire order. Guess the coupons backfired on this location.
Be the first to ReplyWas a good experience.
It was clean, the staff was polite and the food was good. Lot of options to choose from.

Ordered beef and broccoli got orange chicken and didn't realize until I got home to eat. Really wasn't what I even wanted to eat so I just wasted money and time for no reason and I made sure the screen correctly displayed my order before going to pay. Huge disappointment when employees can't get a simple order correct!!
Be the first to ReplyI was highly disappointed.
The food was burnt and cold . Also the lobby was close due to short of staff. And to top it off I was told that I was to pay with cash due to the credit/ debit machine not functioning. I tried calling to repot the food being cold and burnt. It said they were closed . At 5ish . I will not be returning to your establishment.

Came here tonight for the first time and highly disappointed with the service. We noticed the lobby was closed, which is fine, so we went through the drive thru. The line was long and it wasn't quick. We finally placed our order with Georgina and paid. I glanced at the receipt and saw nothing on the receipt was anything we ordered, as we were pulling away from the window I decided to look in each box. I saw that we received the wrong entree instead of the orange chicken that was ordered. Due to the lobby being closed we had to go back and wait in the long drive thru line once again. After finally getting to the drive thru speaker we expressed that we received the wrong entree and was told that they no longer have the orange chicken along with other items on their menu. It's just funny how the other plate we ordered got the orange chicken and a few minutes before and they had everything, but now all of a sudden they are all out. I can see them getting sold out with the cars in front of me, but I heard on the speaker them telling every car in front that they were out as well. There was still an hour and a half until they close which I didn't know they just give up and stop cooking that early.
Be the first to ReplyCame to this location at 7:30pm to get my kids food.
Got to drive through and worker said "we're short staff and closing early so you want to hear our options." I said yes, and age went down the short list. When she got to the last thing she mumbled something and I said "I'm sorry can you repeat that last thing you said" And she responded. "Goodnight Bro" I pulled to window and the young lady on the headset ducked behind the register and begin to crawl on floor (you could see her hat and she kept peeking up to see if we was still there) she then emerged on other side and sat to go packages down which we could see her arm and product clearly. I begin to record at this moment. She ducked back down and crawled on the floor to other side.I sat there 3 minutes and a young lady walked up to the window pretending to be supervisor. She was whispering to me that she's the supervisor and said she could just give me sone food from which I declined. I asked repeatedly for a supervisor and she gave me I'm assuming her number to call and speak with someone. I recorded this conversation as well as some of the crawling on floor and the other workers hiding waiting for me to leave.I hope someone called me back so I can show them the video footage
Be the first to ReplyThey're always out of food.
They don't even recognize popular Panda Express food items. Service isn't great either. Not worth in my opinion.
Be the first to ReplySays they close in 42 minutes there's people in there sat
Says they close in 42 minutes there's people in there sat at the drive-through menu no one responded.Pulled up to the window finally came to the window and she was extremely rude and she said well we're closed and I was like well you should've acknowledged that all of the people in the line there were more than three of us sitting in a line and you can see them inside and they look out the window and just kept doing their thingThis will be the last time I bother going there the food has gone downhill the portions have gone downhill every time I bought something there it's burnt or dried out and gross

I don't understand how when someone asks for extra ice, you end up with like 5 cubes. No sweet sauce for the egg roll, and the chicken bowl barely had any chow mein. Pretty much the last visit from me. Last several times they just don't listen.
Be the first to ReplyThis was the most disgusting thing that ever happened to
This was the most disgusting thing that ever happened to me, ever. I ordered a bowl with white steamed rice and honey walnut shrimp. I started eating it covered it with teriyaki sauce from the restaurant, after about 5 or 6 bites and three or four of the shrimp I got violently sick, my stomach started hurting I threw up everything I ate and I came back from the bathroom to look at my food and there was crap, feces, small pellets of s*** in my food attached to long hair. This is not a joke, this is not made up, and this happened and it made me bring up everything I had for the entire day.
Be the first to ReplyManager was very rude with my recent mobile app order.
When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order it was no where to be found. I had a confirmation on the app and in an email. The manager said there was nothing he could do because he did get a receipt from his machine. After a debate he said he would get my order as a favor insinuating that I was trying to steel food that I had already paid for. He then said the drive thur works just fine and I should not have used the mobile app. I said it was Panda's app to which he replied he has nothing to do with the app and it is not his problem if it does not work.
Be the first to ReplyIn a world full of lockdown, quarantine, social distancing
In a world full of lockdown, quarantine, social distancing and the incessant need to hoard toilet power it was nice to know that for just a small moment I could pretend that everything is normal and I could still order take out. Yes, I pre-ordered and paid online. Yes, I was able to pick through the drive thru. Yes, I stayed a minimum 6 feet from human contact at all times. Yes, I immediately washed my hands when I returned home. Yes, I have leftovers to last at least another full meal. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, the employees were extremely nice. Yes, I am doing my part (albeit small) in attempt to support keeping businesses open through this time. Thank you for giving me a break from cooking everything in my pantry.
Be the first to ReplyA good I am tired and don't want to cook place.
It is like many other fast food places and the food was good. Friendly staff and I did drive thru.
Be the first to ReplyThis is perhaps the best Panda Express in Albuquerque.
The customer service is always incredible. The manager is very friendly and accommodating and the food is usually very fresh. If you ask, they will always make something fresh for you, which is the best part! The drive thru flows much quicker than other pandas. And this panda is located in the heights, therefore it is a much safer environment than the others. The dining room is always clean and well maintained, and he atmosphere is calm and inviting. This is the only panda that I feel 100% comfortable eating at. The staff is amazing, and I know that this panda is for sure many notches above the others.
