Everything was perfect
The service and food was simply sensational and we was delighted to be in this amazing restaurant!! Best steak and service I have had in a very long time and so nice to see the chefs and workers running around equating and serving the best service and food definitely giving a big *****- Thank you ☺️

I have visited the Brasserie many times over the last 20 years and have always had a great experience. It’s one of my go to places to take friends from out of town as the views over London are spectacular. On last nights visit though the views were the only positive. After arriving on time for an 8pm booking we did not receive our main courses till 9.50. This was only after I had asked the Maitre’d what was happening. By this time the restaurant was emptying and all atmosphere was gone from the room. The food was very lacklustre and uniformly tepid and nothing like the excellent quality previously enjoyed. I got the feeling it had been forgotten and was sitting around somewhere. The maitre’d who was apologetic explained that the restaurant is under new management which is certainly no improvement. To be fair he did not charge for one bottle of wine, which was appreciated but we drank far more wine than we usually would while waiting for such a long time. I don’t imagine I will eat there again as even if the service had been better the changes to the menu and poor quality of the food mean I can no longer recommend the brasserie. If you want to enjoy the view I would just come in for a drink.

Excellent food and service with fantastic views. Highly recommend. Throw into the mix live music and what more do you need?
Be the first to ReplyAfternoon Tea
Booked the Afternoon Tea prior to my visit to London. Came a little bit early but no problems in altering my reservation, very helpful reception. I had a look at the wonderful view and then my table was ready. The Afternoon Tea arrangement was delicious- can definitely recommend it - there’s plenty of great food and sweets . And the service was amazing- very helpful and smiling people serving you. Next time I go to London, I’ll definitely try this place again.

We had a delightful evening at the OXO Tower, sipping champagne as the sunset painted the sky. The nibbles, from padron peppers to arancini balls, were a treat, matched only by the fantastic service. We're already looking forward to returning for dinner, eager to relive the charm. The staff even helped us charge our phones which was really nice. Definitely returning!

My son and I stopped here for mother's day in the middle of a culture packed day. On the train going home we both agreed that the cocktails up in the sky were the highlight of our day. Although we had experienced this before, we had never met as enthusiastic a cocktail expert as Amien, who, when we were struggling to decide from the vast list, asked for all our favourite tastes and returned with something new and delicious. His stories were funny and fascinating and really meeting him was more valuable than the actual cocktails!
Be the first to ReplyBest view of London with great food thrown in.
Had the best risotto I have had in a long time, staff were very helpful and the view was amazing. The extensive wine list is also well worth sampling.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous Visit
What a fabulous experience we had at the Oxo Tower Restaurant. We were there to celebrate not only our anniversary, but to wish our daughter well in her first half marathon. The whole experience was 10/10, from the booking process, to the view, the fabulous food and wonderful welcoming staff. We will be back. Thank you for an exceptional visit.
Be the first to ReplyA truly wonderful experience regarding the place, service and especially the food.
This was the first time we have been to the OXO TOWER . What a lovely, welcoming and clean place this is . We were treated to afternoon tea as an anniversary present by my son and will certainly be returning again. The food and cakes were delicious and it was nice to try something different. The service from staff was impeccable and very attentive to our needs whilst there.

As always, the entire team was supremely professional, and the entire experience fabulous. We always visit when in town and it is a highlight of our stay. Thanks again!
Be the first to ReplyLunchtime meal
Saturday lunch at the brasserie. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent ambience. A great time was had, the servers were fantastic, attentive but not overbearing, knowledgeable without being pushy. The food was delicious, good portion sizes, and excellently flavoured. Cocktails very good, the gin martini was just as it should be, also a very nice Australian Penfold's red to accompany the meal. If I lived in London it would be a regular haunt. Lastly, the pricing was great, very, very reasonable indeed, very surprised upon receiving the bill. My compliments to all involved.
Be the first to ReplyNice view and pretty good food
Very pretty brasserie. A bit overpriced but you pay for the whole experience and the views are great from the balcony too. Food is up to par, what you would expect in such an establishment. Live music, although we hardly heard it.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing return to OXO Restaurant
I have enjoyed this venue previously but haven't visited for some time and was very disappointed with the latest experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The cocktails were also excellent. We were situated in the restaurant area for dinner. My partner enjoyed her starter but mine was tasteless, not well presented and not enjoyable. For the main we had the sharing steak at £55 per person (not including sides). The steak was dry and unappealing and I had to ask for a side of mustard to get any flavour from the experience. It is always telling when the bill arrives and on reviewing it the disappointment sets in that one could have had a much better experience at another restaurant for the same price. It was an expensive night out and it simply was not worth the cost - a great shame as there are plenty of other excellent (and similar tier) restaurants in London to try out.

Enjoyed the tasting menu and asked if we would prefer to have breaks in between or following on after each other, went for breaks. Not rushed. Good food. Amazing attentive staff from arrival to service to leaving. Felt very comfortable and relaxed.
Be the first to ReplyJust too noisy
The food here is amazing but it's looking a bit tired and whatever you do if they try to sit you in front of the open kitchen asked to be moved straight away. The noise is unbelievable, it was loud enough to not be able to hear the person you are sitting opposite. I asked to be moved but was told the only place was near a large party of people which would be very noisy too. There is some kind of machine that they use in the kitchen that makes the most horrendous noise but we had to just put up with it which spoiled the experience, also when people's orders are ready the kitchen people clap their hands! Another great background noise. The people at the table next to us made the same complaint so I would recommend the restaurant for good food but just too noisy.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant and food
Quality dishes that taste 👌 We was both impressed with OXO I had 4 course for £40 plus a drink so good prices too, nice views to top it off
Be the first to ReplyPerhaps 3 1/2 stars….
I’ve given 4 stars here but that may be generous. There’s actually not that much wrong with it but it seems to me that it should be better Our starters arrived far too quickly to have been freshly made and my crab looked like it had been sat under a hot lamp. We shared a Chateaubriand which was ok but not medium as requested and while tasty enough seemed small and perhaps not the finest cut of meat available. Our desserts looked factory made and again slightly disappointing. On a positive not, it’s not expensive for central London and especially with the views. The service was ok but not special. On the subject of the view, which is good, we were left wondering why there’s no anti reflective coating on the windows- a simple fix … Would I go again? Maybe, but there’s lots of choices so maybe not. In my view it should be way better albeit if at additional cost….
Be the first to ReplyExcellent restaurant in a great location.
Excellent restaurant & bar at the top of the OXO Tower on the South Bank of The Thames. We were warmly greeted and staff were excellent and attentive. We ate early evening pre theatre and had a window table with excellent views up the Thames. We ate in The Brassiere, so cannot comment on the Restaurant. It was quiet when we arrived but got much busier. We would recommend booking in advance. The food was simply delicious and for this standard of eatery was good value. It has been a long time since we last ate there and we won’t leave as long before we go back (we live in the North of England, so not that easy to just pop in).
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Large Family Dinner
We dined at the Oxo Tower brasserie on Saturday night (as a large family party of 13) and both the food and service were excellent. We had 5 children under the age of 10 and they were welcomed from the moment we arrived with goodie bags and a great menu to choose from which contained a superb selection for young kids and was also reasonably priced - the staff were also very happy to make any modifications and we experienced some of the best service we've had in London! The live music created a special ambience and the view was beautiful. It's rare to find a restaurant that caters to the young and old in such a superb way but, we had a fantastic evening, thank you!
Be the first to ReplyCompetitively priced afternoon tea
Myself and my husband were given this as gift for our wedding last year. At first I was worried about attending due to the fact that the first time we booked back in November, a mistake was made and it meant we couldn’t attend on the day we had intended to. Prior to this first experience we also had a look at the menu for afternoon tea on the website, as well as reading reviews. Both did little to alleviate my worries and upon arrival today I was convinced we wouldn’t eat half of the menu. Thankfully I was wrong! Aside from the fish based sandwiches everything was devoured with great pleasure by the both of us. The view from our table was as you would expect, a very damp city scape 😂. But in the summer I would say that this would be much improved with sunshine. The only slight niggle we had was the viewing platform they advertised. While I understand this was a rainy weekday in March and they had closed off a lot of the outdoor areas, the viewing platform is rather small. Just enough space for 6 people and only on one side of the building overlooking the river. Overall the experience was great considering how worried we were, the food was spot on not too much and enough for two people and the location is a classic icon.
Be the first to ReplyStunning view and wonderful food.
Visited just before Christmas. Was a beautiful view at night high up over the Thames. Really enjoyed the food and the staff were lovely. It’s pricey but I think it’s the kind of place that’s that worth it. The food was good quality and the plates weren’t small. Would recommend and would go back again.
Be the first to ReplyInedible starter
I have visited the brassiere at the OXO tower in the past on many occasions and always had an exemplary experience in terms of both service and food. However on this visit (7/3/23) I was serviced an inedible mullet & mushroom starter. I can’t imagine what happened but both elements were very tough, in fact it took all my effort to cut through a mushrooms with a knife. Moreover the Mullet had a horrible bitter taste and was extremely rubbery. In fairness, when pointed out to our server she had no problem in changing the dish for an alternative meat starter. However the dish was so weird I actually ask for an explanation from the kitchen as to what had happened but no information was provided. Unfortunately the experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. (literally) that the OXO Tower has now lost my loyalty for the foreseeable future but I’m mystified as to what I was served as it was truly inedible. Such a shame!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing…. Thanks to one member of staff
After arriving a couple of minutes late our coats were taken and we were told the table was running a few minutes behind. We were invited to sit at the bar and we did so, having our drinks and eventually being seated… after a half hour wait. Our water came and we waited a further half hour and didn’t receive our menus, so we were both very annoyed with the level of service we received. I called a member of staff and he genuinely apologised, offered us free drinks and bread, which we happily accepted. Service was from that moment on, second to none, the food was phenomenal and staff were friendly. Apart from the bump at the start, the overall experience was a 10. The name of said server that turned our night around was Mario or Harriet, my hearing is shocking. If he is the general manager then he is incredibly deserving of his position, and if he isn’t, then he deserves to be GM. I hope everyone reading this is lucky enough to be served by him.

After some extensive research to find a classy yet reasonably priced venue for my wife's birthday, I booked here. It was July 2022 and I thought I had reviewed, but not. There was 15 of us and we had a menu priced at £55.00 a head for three courses and a glass of prosecco on arrival. I had never been here, but my wife has and was delighted. Great views of the Thames and North Bank, St Paul's etc. The service was great. attentive and friendly with obvious care to ensure a good time. Food was really good and the choices was, if I recall correctly, about four item per course. So, plenty of choice for all. Everyone was full of praise and highly satisfied. It was a really enjoyable, relaxed occasion and the place was full with people having a good time. So, apologies for the late review and I would book again for a similar occasion.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent experience
It was my friends birthday albeit (29th February!) which does not exist unless it is a leap year. We had the winter set menu in the Brasserie, we had a glass of champagne in the bar then our table was ready. Our starter, main course and desert was superb. The waiters were attentive and made sure our wine was topped up. The view was fantastic. I will definitely come back again and a big thank you to the hard work of the chefs and everyone involved to make our experience special.
