This is our new favorite spot! We came here for Valentines and everything was perfect. For Appetizers we had beef carpaccio and polpo. Both amazing. The octopus was one of the best I've ever had. For mains we both had pastas. My husband had Osteria Amore and I had the special of the night - tomato based seafood pasta. Again, perfection. There's something special about fresh handmade pastas. By the end of the night we were stuffed to the neck but still ordered a crème brûlée to end the night. Best food nights ever. Coming back every valentines!

We were blown away by the ambience, service, and food. I've been to Caffe Molise, Per Noi, Sicilia Mia, Bartolos, and Italian Graffiti, and this is my favorite Italian food so far. We had a reservation at 6 p.m. and were seated immediately. Complimentary bread and ricotta was swiftly delivered, and oh boy was I on board. We enjoyed two cocktails each with our meal--each artfully crafted, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. For appetizers, we had the Arancine Siciliane and Cesare, which were both beautifully presented and full of flavor. For our entrees, I had the Osteria Amore and my husband had the Tagliata di Angus (ribeye steak). The gorgonzola sauce to dip the steak was divine, and the all the pasta is made in house. The flavors were complex and had depth. They did bring out a free birthday dessert, but I honestly don't like pastries, so my husband happily scarfed it down. That would be my only nit pick of the experience. Our server, Ed, did an amazing job--being super attentive to our table on a busy night. The restaurant was packed full of people, and service was smooth and well paced. Parking in the area can be difficult, but we easily found a space around 5:45 p.m. It's a bit pricey, coming in around $240 for the two of us with the tip, but worth it for a special occasion like a birthday. I can't wait to get back to this place to try more.

These dishes are heaven. The wine is delectable. I am utterly impressed with the service, the ambiance, and the food. Abby was our waitress and had the best recommendations. She's perfect. The food is perfect. The atmosphere is perfect.

We had been waiting a while to go and enjoy what we were told would be a great experience . The food was very good but the service was clumsy. After finishing dessert, my wife and I were "politely" asked to finish our wine and leave as they needed the table for a reservation. I've never been asked to leave a restaurant before. Pretty weak.

Every thing about Osteria exudes excellence! Have been two in the last month for business dinners and haven't been disappointed in anything. Every dish is made to order a the pasta is made fresh daily. From the hostess to the waiter staff everyone is attentive to the service thy provide. The upstairs is lively WTH several seating area along with the bar. The lower level is quiet and good for conversation. Try the Chilean Sea bass. You won't be disappointed. The Osteria Amore pasta is flavorful and rich. The ravioli pear Gorgonzola is stellar. Don't leave without having dessert! You will fall in love with them including crème brûlée, gelato or the Pistachio crusted custard. Parking can be a little tricky as there are several restaurants in the area, and it's near the University of Utah just up the hill. I highly recommend Osteria!!

We have eaten all over the globe and this spot may be my absolute hands down fave. From head to toe, this place stands apart. You will need a reservation or grab a spot at a very small but quaint bar. A do not miss the ravioli, burrata pasta or pizza. It was so good we ordered a second entree to share. Dont even get me started on the semifredo dessert. Run dont walk, get in here.

We came in for a lunch date and we got right in. We tried the flatbread starter: delicious. My pistachio pasta was to die for!! Seriously one of the best pastas I've ever had. It was so creamy and the flavors were so dang good. We ended with the coconut gelato and it was so unique and so wonderful. There were little bits of coconut all throughout and the taste was the perfect amount of flavor but not overpowering. I'd come back here in a heartbeat!! Our service was awesome too!!

Enjoyed another top meal at OA with impeccable service attention. Charcuterie board-Tagliere dell' Osteria was again amazing. Starter drinks were well made with fun custom offerings. Our two entrees were both wonderful. The pasta dishes we selected were amazing. Special was pasta with seafood was prepared with half lobster tail and was flavored perfectly. Risotto ai Funghi was again perfect with a new seasonal mushroom selection, very well made Risotto. Finishing off with a great selection of deserts. This is a good place for a great meal.

The ambiance is okay... it's just extremely loud and tight. It's difficult to have conversations 'cus all the tables are in such close proximity. Also, made a reservation but still had to wait 45 minutes to get seated. I'd recommend going on a week night or eating super early 'cus it will probably be a while to get seated.

My friend in Utah likes this place and knows the owner so I got dragged to here for dinner. We got a pizza and a few calamari shrimp appetizers for the table. I kinda got tired of pizza so I didn't tasted their pizza but it looked good, the crust was nicely cooked and crispy, calamari shrimp came with a big whole fried prawn, we ate the whole prawn including the head. I got sapori di mare without pasta with a side of spinach was really good, but the portion was small, I tasted some pasta in a white sauce that my friend had was delicious, the pasta was perfectly cooked and amazing sauce, my other friend ordered ribeye, he said it was very good. For dessert we got a variety of gelato and my favorite was pistachio and one other flavor I forgot but I thought I would like hazelnut but it was too sweet and didn't like it. Our friends in Utah go there often so I will definitely go back there next time I go to Utah for skiing!

Of Utah. The food was delectable and tasted so authentic. You can tell they prepare everything with such care. I tried their signature dish the Osteria Amore pasta and it was so creamy and delicious! My friend ordered the soup of the day - a mushroom soup and I was surprised by the flavor in a good way! Also loved the side of bread and honey risotto. As well as the arranicini appetizer which comes with 4 hearty rice balls! We topped off our great meal with pistachio gelato for dessert. Full disclosure: my friend knows the owner Ed and he's the nicest guy! Would highly recommend this spot for an upscale dinner or classy lunch.
