VINIT STAFF was so nice person and so the other staffs. The warm welcome to the end the way they treated us was amazing
Everything was perfect 🤩. The food was awesome and the hospitality was amazing. Especially the staff dance was amazing and so joy to watch.
Be the first to ReplyDifferent then the regular restaurants
The Bastian restaurant was full and had no walk-in availability so we ask for another restaurant nearby. They recommended this restaurant and it was one of my best experiences. Food was amazing, good service and they had entertainment. Seemed like a brand new restaurant and it was really nice inside. Restaurant is a little to expensive, but to get the service and the food.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Evening and a perfect family place
Chef Sandesh and Julian Corriea quite helpful and understanding along with other support staff... nice place for a perfect family event. Both tried best with our gluten free and dairy free options

Alexandra is a very good host. Yagnesh took good care of us and helped in selecting items from Menu. Red wine from Greece is excellent. Hummus with mushrooms is very good. Baclava with ice cream is too good. Dancing and breaking plates is excellent
Be the first to ReplyTourist, selfie trap. Avoid if you want a pleasant night
Really bad experience here. For a family or romantic outing was horrible as people were all over the place taking selfies and staff couldn't care about service or food. They just wanted you to order and plonked the stuff without caring. Food was average. Crowd atleast when we went was really rowdy and manager was encouraging this pathetic behaviour. When we complained he couldn't care less.
Be the first to ReplyBad experience, poor service and pathetic manager
Pathetic experience. Bad food, bad service and poor hospitality. If it isn’t for the Greek theme no one would come here. The manager Julian is an imbecile and shouldn’t work at a roadside restaurant forget a a supposed fine dining restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyA Greek Treat in Mumbai, Made Fun with Plate Smashing
It was real fun to visit OPA-Kipos, the famous Greek Restaurant of Mumbai to celebrate a Birthday, good vegetarian Greek Food, Classy Drinks, Great Ambience as if a piece of Santorini had landed in mumbai, Soothing Music (though everything of lyrics was Greek to us), excellent dance, fun loving staff, celebratory deserts & to top everything, breaking plates to celebrate... wow, it was an experience. 😊
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful ambiance and Greece theme
The music, vibes and ambience just excellent. This restaurant serves only Greek food. We ordered Greek salad, mix grill platter and chicken gyros. Everything was delicious, meat was juicy and tender. The restaurant is definitely pricy.
Be the first to ReplyKohinoor of mumbai , outstanding food and service by Shubham
it is the best restaurant t in Mumbai . Very lively place in Wadia international centre near Ikea. Shubham really helped us with the menu and service was 11/10. the music and dance was superb. opa hummus and pita bread were perfect. Tyrokaferia the Harissa was perfect. Mocktails Athena apollo and Hera all were upto mark. we ordered two salads greek salad and walnut figs. we preferred the figs one. Veg Gros was out of the world. manti and baked burrata were superb. Truffle weeding rice was poor. the deserts panacotta and milopita were ok. Shubham was outstanding throught out and so helpful and attentive. Service is international standard and can say mumbai wonder of the world

First the good points.
Warm and comfortably lit. Very High ceilings. Nice ambiance. Good crowd. Colourful Bougainvillea added a very nice touch. Good to see the whole restaurant joining in and enjoying themselves dancing together. Couple of white girls try to ensure you get out of your inhibitions and join the crowd to dance.
Now the not so nice. Food is very so so. The lamb chops, dry, hard and uninteresting. Chicken Kalamari (I think) very dry and hard. Left it all. Veg Salad, smelly burnt oil used. Returned it. Flaming cheese, so so. Will never go again just for food. Don't understand what's the big attraction of breaking clay plates?? Creates so much dust in the air.. The DJ seemed quite oblivious to the very high base in his woofers. By no means can you call it music. It was just loud NOISE. Talking to each other was almost impossible. Had to literally shout. All of us have come back with sore throats. No decent provision for large gatherings. We were about 10 of us. Very uncomfortable 2 round tables were allotted to us. Service also excruciatingly slow..
In all, I wouldn't go there again. Unless the sole agenda was to dance on heaps of broken clay plates.
Great service!
We had dinner with the family at Opa. The food was excellent expect not a huge variety for vegans. Shoutout to Yanis, our server. He was great and made sure everything was fantastic! Restaurant has a great ambiance and a really lively vibe!

Superb Greek ambience with staff in Greek attire nice bar with huge variety of alcohol.Every staff involves themself & perform for a memorable evening.Offer plates to break but also charge for the same food quality can be improved
Be the first to ReplyForced to pay the Service Charge.
At a time when government guidelines say that no restaurants or hotels can force a service charge on a customer, Opa Kipos forces their customers to pay it.
We were highly disappointed by the behaviour of the staff upon refraining from paying the service charge which is optional and completely voluntary for the consumers. When we asked the manager to scrap the service charge from our bill, he not only refused it but also behaved in a very undesirable way.
The amount they charge is huge and is over and above the GST.
Sad state of affairs
We finally got a chance to go to Opas Kipos the supposedly 'happening' Greek restaurant in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
We were warned ... great atmosphere, okay food and service is not the best. Notwithstanding and with an open mind we set out for lunch to celebrate a special day.
It started well enough with a Greek head of waiters ( don't know what the exact job title is) doing some friendly PR with us and catering to my husband and his needs.
Slowly it went south. The waiter attending to me kept pushing to sell what he felt was right even after i refused. He asked me three times if i like aubergines and i replied with a 'no' all three times... He went on to come too close for comfort to speak (guys covid is still alive and kicking), because the music was too loud and we could not hear him or he us.
After repeated requests on lowering the music we were told that standards are set by Dubai' headquarters'. When we asked for an email address to write to them it was not given. We were assured we will be given the local email id to write to ... never got this. The music sound level, finally after 30 minutes of 4 requests was lowered. Phew ... wasted time and meal not enjoyed.
It does not end here.
Seeing our dissatisfaction instead of 'wooing us back' they stopped clearing our plates.
Meanwhile, the following too was happening, not necessarily in chronological order:
The hostess banged into my chair with her foldable table, dropped my walking stick on another round. (Do these girls get any training on manners, grace and moving around in a restaurant? It did not appear so. On asking her what exactly were the ingredients in one of the dishes, she raise an eyebrow refused to answer and told the waiter to tell us turned and strode off! Seriously?!
The only positives were 1. the spacious, beautifully done interiors. 2. Santorini a cocktail which was delectable.
The food was okay ... the zuccini patties seemed a lot like our Indian clubby veg cutlets.
The 'pasta rice' as the waiter described it and Greek head of waiters later renamed as "not a pasta more like a risotto' ( Team could you'll kindly be on the same page?!) a dish, he further described 'is exactly his mom would make" did excited our palates. When it did come it was good but caught somewhere between an Indian tomato gravy rice and a tomato risotto.
All in all, we did feel that it was a 'compromised' Greek meal ...
We ordered other foods too but nothing worth a mention negative or positive.
Finally it was 3 p.m time for the traditional Greek custom of plate breaking and Greek dancing. The music here was interesting and pulsating. Loud (we been warned and it was not offensive), great beat, we could feel ourselves travel to Greece. Some dancing and by then we had had enough, needed to get out of there ...
Will we go there again. Definitely not. Would i recommend it? If you don't mind paying a fairly high price for average food (11k was the bill for 2), poor service, attitude throwing waitresses, neglect and loud music where you cannot hear each other. Yes go by all means. Or alternatively, meet a friend before meal time begins, for a quick round of Santorini and eat at a worthier, fine dining restaurant in the vicinity.
Opa Kispos - Mumbai
Visited Opa Kipos for Dinner with family. The restaurant is beautifully made with very soothing and warm interiors.
.
Reservations are must to to any disappointment later
.
I feel the restaurant is overly hyped & priced , one will think twice before visiting again.
.
The cusine is my favourite Greek, but, feels very heavy on stomach.
.
Surely not planning to visit this place again and waste my money to break plates.
.
150/ for vallet is expensive and not expected from a fine dining restaurant!!
Inhospitable and unwelcoming staff
I have been to Opa Kipos twice now. While the first visit provided a few disappointments in the main course, particularly the Seabass, the appetisers were excellent and worth the premium prices that this restaurant charges. However, the biggest let down was the attitude of the staff, who behaved as if they were doing us a favour by talking to us. I returned a second time with the ardent hope that there would be in improvement, but alas the staff were just as bad, if not worse. We booked ourselves a table for the 7:30pm slot and were reminded not once but three times over phone that we needed to vacate the table by 9:30pm. If that wasn't enough, we were also constantly badgered about this when we arrived and all through our meal! There were some enjoyable moments and as before, our appetisers were excellent. But I'm afraid I won't be returning here again. The staff have made this place feel inhospitable and unwelcoming.
Be the first to ReplyA great evening!
Ohhhhh what an evening...despite the on going restrictions in Mumbai, we had a super funtime! The vibe, the ambience, the food, the service, the staff, hats off to everyone of them for doing such a good job, because its they who carry the load of making the guests evening a success. The little drama of the performance etc., makes it really fun & the restaurant transforms into a classy lounge! The music and lights change & the whole mood is different. I would absolutely and totally recommend Opa. This was my second visit and couldn't fault it at all! A special mention for Akshay our server..pls take his suggestions., he knows what he's doing.
