We came here for the New Year's Eve prix fixe menu, and had a good time. It was my first Michelin star experience. Service was great. We got there early, but that wasn't a problem at all. The hostess immediately took our coats and had us sit at the bar and order drinks while we waited for our table to be prepared. I started with the Respect Your Elderflower, which was tasty. And only $16, which is less than I expected. Once seated, we were immediately given waters and our server was friendly and welcoming. The food was pretty good. I didn't think that at such small portions I'd be full at the end of the meal, but I was stuffed by the final course. Everything was nicely presented and came out at a good pace. The prawns and busan crab salad, agnolotti, and the squab were my favorite courses. I wasn't a huge fan of the Hungarian dumpling, but the yuzu marmalade it was on was delicious. The walnut ice cream was good, though the cheese that came with was a bit too rich for me. The dark chocolate and passion fruit was delicious and a nice way to end the night. During dinner, I also got the Dark Lady, which was excellent as well. The ambiance and decor was lovely; a nice, peaceful place to eat and drink, even on big nights like NYE. Not sure it was worth the $235 per person, but that's also not unexpected. Overall, a great experience.
