Hit or miss worried Hot tea was good Fresh wasabi, always a good sign Ginger was also high quality, personally I like a bit more sour taste but still it was prepared well Chef was still wearing glove, I know this is due to Covid, but I would prefer no gloves - Not sure exactly what but I think glove takes away essential spirit of authentic sushi Taco w caviar yellowtail - it would taste much better if nori shell was more crunchy 5 appetizer sashimi - all fresh high quality Oyster w uni & yellowtail and caviar- good, oyster dish had way too much soy sauce 4 piece sushi - excellent, of these blue fin tuna was superb - sushi rice was just perfect, not cold or hard (last time we went to Sushi Taro, the rice was hard and under cooked, which was a big minus for sushi) Even though we sat at the sushi bar, there wasn’t much interaction between the sushi chef, most dishes were prepared somewhere else Also sushi was served 5 pieces all together at the same time - it would be much nicer if they serve one piece at a time (you really don’t want your sushi sitting on a cold plate for no more than 30 seconds…) At Nobu, there was no real advantage of sitting at the sushi counter If sushi is your favorite, ordering a la carte Sushi would be better (2 piece sushi priced between $7-16, uni and toro being most expensive)
