Excellent service, management and superb food.
It was a pleasure to go back after. We missed it. Amazing to see the same dedicated crew that makes this restaurant so special

Food tasted really good and I can confirm that when ever I eat the leftover I take home lol .The service was the best I've had in a while, the manager himself came to say hi to us and told us a bit about the restaurant since it was our first visit. It's has a very intimate and classy atmosphere.very discreet atmosphere. Also felt nice and cozy.

Food was spectacular! Ordered the dry rub rib eye and it was beautifully cooked. Our waiter, Ludwig, was lovely and even brought out a little dessert for my mom's birthday! The place felt intimate and was very calming!

Great service and food. We love the atmosphere and because they are across the street, I go often with good people.

This is definitely worth a visit even if you aren't in the area.

Had a great time again! Never disappoints! Had a grass fed New York this time with scallops, Brussel sprouts and my usual Caesar salad. The bar service is always on point. Thanks again! Looking forward to my next visit!

Had a nice date her with my daughter to celebrate Valentine's Day. Service was great. Atmosphere was perfect, nice and quiet so can have a conversation. And the food was really good. The place is located in downtown Los Angeles and my only complaint is parking. I drove around the block a few times before I got frustrated and just turned into a random underground parking lot. I did however get lucky and turned into the parking lot that is for the restaurant. It would've been nice to have a sign or even a warning on yelp to let "out of towners" know. Other then that we had a wonderful time.

This is a decent, if overpriced, steakhouse that I've brought clients and partners to from time-to-time over the years. What compels me to now leave a bad review is the following: Tonight we ordered a $250 bottle of wine. The server mistakenly brought us a virtually indistinguishable $500 bottle, presented it, and poured it. When we got the bill, we pointed out their mistake. Instead of immediately fixing their own mistake, as any respectable restaurant would, they insisted we pay for the more expensive bottle. What am I gonna do at that point? Make it super awkward by arguing with them in front of my out-of-town clients and partners? Of course not. I just had to eat the cost.UPDATE: the manager reached out the next day and they refunded my card for the difference. So they made it right in the end.
Be the first to ReplyToo expensive.
$15,00 for a layer of asparagus was the last straw. Very high-quality food.
Be the first to ReplyAlways a great time at Nick + Stef's.
The food is great (they make my favorite Caesar salad, their steaks are delicious, and their sides never miss), the service is always delightful, and the ambiance is lovely, calm, and intimate. Always happy to dine in.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I agree this was the best steakhouse
My husband and I agree this was the best steakhouse experience we've ever had! Service was impeccable. KC was by far one of the best waiters we've ever had. He was the absolute sweetest, so attentive, and his recommendations were spot on. This restaurant is very, very lucky to have a waiter like KC. He seriously helped make our dining experience. Food was incredible. The warm cheese bread that is offered when you sit down is to die for! For appetizers, we started off with a Caesar salad, which KC offered to have split for us since it is a big portion. It was the best Caesar salad I ever had! For our main, hubby and I split a tomahawk steak with mushrooms and potato gratin on the side. If you like mushrooms, you HAVE to try the ones here!! Best mushrooms ever. The potato gratin was also the best I've ever tried. For dessert, we ordered the liquid chocolate cake. KC also brought out a panna cotta since we were celebrating my birthday. Both so so good. LA is heavily saturated with steakhouses, but I would highly recommend choosing this one over the others. I'll definitely be coming back.
Be the first to ReplyMy petite fillet was fantastic.
It was perfectly done (medium rare) with a nice char. It had a hint of smokey oak grilled flavor. The creamed corn, creamed spinach and fries were all great. The seafood tower was indulgent and even though it served 2...was enough for 4 to split as a starter. Delicious scallops. The lobster was chewy but I'm not a huge lobster fan. We sat outside on the patio which has a lovely urban backdrop of surrounding high rises. I will definitely return. Pricey but standard for steakhouses.

I may have eaten some bad beef, it has not been a good day and my daughter smelled something funny on the ribeye we ate. We paid a lot of money for the cleansing and have better cuts for less expensive. The reso of the dishes were good and service was OK.
Be the first to ReplyIt was pretty good, I was there for an intimate family
It was pretty good, I was there for an intimate family celebration and it sure felt that way. Nice low lighting with great food our server, a nice older man, recommended the creamed corn, which was actually pretty good he offered us a delicious desert, a brownie/cake thing with ice cream to share, which was yummy and at the end of the night showed us the perfect place to take pictures on the Balcony and helped us take them. All in all great experience.
Be the first to ReplyBooked Nick & Stef's for a team Happy Hour to show
Booked Nick & Stef's for a team Happy Hour to show appreciation and celebrate return to office. Had a big group and booked with the event planner with a deposit and min F&B min. While our group had a great time out in the patio, I couldn't help but feel wronged by this establishment. Their drinks, food and service were good, but it really felt like they take advantage of large parties. They setup a beer and wine by the glass station which I thought was cool, but the happy hour prices for beers and wine were not honored - maybe it was a mistake, but they should clearly have their system programmed between 4-7pm to have the Happy Hour pricing pre-set in their system. The biggest issue I had was being charged over $600 for 6 bottles of wine!! Most of our group ordered cocktails and beer - no one in our group ordered bottles...we only consumed the prepoured glasses of wine that we thought was their house wine. Pretty unethical to me that they pre-selected $100 bottles of red and white wine without letting our party know. When I asked the event planner, she said those bottles were selected...by who I don't know. This is a nice place to have Happy Hour, but just be aware of you have a large group to ensure they do not pre-select expensive bottles at their pre-pour station. My company has a very large presence in DTLA, it's unfortunate that I'll have to think twice about booking another event here because we did have a nice time.
Be the first to ReplyMy boyfriend and I went here to celebrate a special
My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate a special occasion, and Nick + Stef's did not fail to become our favorite steakhouse in LA! Everything we ordered was absolutely immaculate, from the cocktails to the entrees. I ordered the Rose Sangaree cocktail, and it was perfect for the night. But oh my goodness, the complimentary bread was so delicious! I have no better way to describe them than as cheesy, warm popovers! We definitely asked for another serving. We ordered the Dry Aged Ribeye (18 oz) to share, and it was so delicious! This was my first dry aged experience, and I loved every bite. They also knew we were sharing and split the steak for us into two plates after cooking it! We also ordered N+S Mac + Cheese and Sweet Potato Fries on the side.I can't say it enough: my favorite steakhouse in LA!
Be the first to ReplyHands down own of the best steak houses I have been to.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our dining experience at Nick + Stefs. The restaurant ambiance is dark and sophisticated vibes. I like that the lights were dim but it was still light enough to comfortably enjoy a conversation. It's a beautiful place for a special dinner or maybe a business dinner. I thought the pricing was fair considering the quality of the meat you're eating. 10/10 would visit again.

Went here for a birthday expecting to have a wonderful experience instead we ended the night getting sick. Service was amazing our waiter was great. The food was not good baked potato was as hard as a rock. Potatoes gratin tasted rancid this is what probably made us sick. Steak undercooked to our specifications we ordered medium well received rare. Ruined the birthday night.
Be the first to ReplyDrove here to stay for a while, nice start here.

Be the first to ReplyThis was an amazing steakhouse in the heart of downtown Los
This was an amazing steakhouse in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. We were lucky to dine outdoors on a comfortable evening in late March. Our table if 9 was able to enjoy a little of everything- wine, appetizers (oysters and BBQ shrimp) and of course steak. The irony of the steak is that some of their offerings are from Nebraska (my home state) so they obviously know where to source good beef. The sides were another big complement to the meal - mushrooms, mac n' cheese, brussel sprouts and so on. Everyone walked away raving about the meal. It is a bit of an investment so keep that in mind, the the experience was well worth it.
Be the first to ReplyLocated in downtown LA surrounded by the big beautiful
Located in downtown LA surrounded by the big beautiful buildings. Very intimate place. You get what you pay for. And here is no exception. Ended up ordering the tomahawk steak, medium rare, with a side order of mashed potatoes. The tomahawk is what we came here for and it lived up to the hype. This piece of steak is very big. At least for 2 people and more. It was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. Taste of the steak is incomparable to any steak I've ever had. Just so tender and juicy and crispy on the outside. And not to mention the mashed potatoes were tasty and filling as well. But the tomahawk steak was the star of the show. Highly recommend getting this, you won't be disappointed. Staff was very friendly. Just an overall great experience.
Be the first to ReplyAlways a great experience coming here.
Ne and my husband have been coming here for all of our big milestones. Anniversaries, birthdays and celebrating new jobs. Last night we came here to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Everything was perfect as always. Valet parking downstairs. The valet driver was so nice, he even charged our tesla while we were at dinner for FREE. Literally got 30 miles of free charge while eating bomb ass steaks. What more can you ask for. Their steaks are amazing. My husband's favorite steakhouse in Los Angeles and were lucky its so close to home. My favorite cut is the ribeye and its always cooked perfectly. I love how they cook it over wood and you can distinctly taste it when you eat their Dry aged steaks. Our server was so kind to even bring us a dessert on the house for our anniversary. If you love Dry aged steaks, this is the place not to pass on.
Be the first to ReplyFood was amazing.
Ordered the tomahawk steak which was cooked perfectly. The wine was incredibly paired with it.
