CAUTION: WAY OVERPRICED AND OVERRATED!$500 for dinner for TWO ($468 prepaid for prix fix food, wine pairing, tax, 20% compulsory gratuity and $35 for two cocktails because they weren't ready to start our dinner and wine service when we were seated)1. Communal seating to "encourage us to share and meet new people". Music and ambience was too loud to converse among the 6 people in our own party let alone the 4 others at the table.2. Service. Platters, bowls and soup tureen were placed on the table where we could serve ourselves. Only the small pieces of sweet potato pie were individually plated. No one ever asked us how we were enjoying our meal. Attitude seemed to be that we should just be thankful we had the privilege of being there. Staff seemed indifferent at best. 3. Food courses varied from ok to very good. Dry duck confit was the main course. Did enjoy the salad. 4. Wine "pairings" were very small pours of wine that didn't seem to complement the courses and were not refilled. I think I've said enough. So sad to have wasted one of our NOLA evenings when there are SO many opportunities for SUPER food/ambiance in this town. And this was by far our most expensive evening.
