This restaurant has now ceased trading and is Cottura Italian restaurant - which is superb! Go there for fresh home made pasta and a really good value meal.

Newly local - this is such an amazing find. Sat down and immediately enjoyed engaging with like minded people sitting on the next door table. Clearly loved by locals and we canโt wait to come back. Fun vibe, great suggestions on the wine and only wish we could order the whole menu as it all sounded so good. Coming back v soon as need to try the venison. But our main review - HAVE THE ARGENTINIAN SAUSAGE TO START. Thank you thank you xx

We all chose roast beef. We unanimously loved it. It was absolutely delicious, from the Yorkshire pudding to the roast potatoes to the gravy. I can also recommend the treacle tart for pudding! We will be ordering it again, it was such a treat.

Excellent! Cooked as requested. Lovely vegetables. A real treat not having to cook. Very enjoyable. Would recommend highly. Will certainly book again.
Be the first to ReplySaved by the desserts
Having visited this restaurant many times, we were looking forward to our lockdown take-away. The Venison Goulash sounded like an exciting combination and we both chose it for our main course. But what a disappointment! I know how important presentation is in food and I acknowledge that this is sadly lacking when the food comes in plastic boxes. But this dish was surprisingly boring, lacking both the gamey taste of venison and the piquant flavour of a goulash.
The desserts saved the meal from a one-star review. The Chocolate Fondant and the Pannacotta were both delicious. The homemade Shortbread biscuits were an extra bonus.
Delicious meal with friendly service
After a bit of a mix up with our table reservation, the restaurant was able to give us a table after a cancellation. We were looked after superbly and had a delicious meal. No effort was spared to make us feel at home and valued as a customer. We had a very good evening and would return with pleasure
Be the first to ReplyTake out option
Missing eating out we tried the take out menu. The Miso Cod and Sea Bass were delicious but nearly cold - we ate them only 10 minutes after picking the food up. The Soft shell crab was soggy not crispy because it was put on the sauce and salad inside the container. I commend your efforts on the take out option but suggest you think about containers or perhaps suggestions on how to reheat? We will try again
Exquisite.
Exquisite. We have just eaten a Takeaway. Good portion size, very tasty. Just as good as eating in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Weโve just enjoyed the most delicious pork and beef Sunday roast takeaways from Michael Nadia. They really were fabulous.
Be the first to ReplyConfused menu, confused concept,
Confused menu, confused concept, confused staff. When the waiter is pouring our ยฃ220 bottle of wine from the wrong end of a decanter (plus wrong vintage and no opportunity to taste) and customers are leaving because they canโt work out the menu whilst the โchefโ is racing out the door chasing the Deliveroo driver because they left a dish out of the bag you know itโs a shambles. Please rethink the menu so we can work out where the starters and mains are - that is fairly basic and would be a help. If we are sharing plates provide some individual plates. Itโs a shambles. It is also ridiculous to leave us standing in the drizzle whilst you โcheckโ if you have a table when the restaurant is only at most 20% booked. On a positive note the treacle tart is delicious - probably no need for the waitress to tell us the people who came for lunch couldnโt have any as it hadnโt set. This restaurant wonโt survive and it isnโt because of covid. Itโs because of poor management and a dreadful menu layout.
Be the first to ReplyRelaxed modern European place with a few twists
Waitress couldn't have been more helpful when ordering mains. Burger that actually tasted of meat (a rarity) and an excellent sliced rib eye. Great sides fries truffled mash and green veg. Add a few drinks and a glass of house wine, one pudding and service it came in at ยฃ50 a head.
And was worth EVERY penny.
