Nice place for dinner at Lowes
Great service and kitchen. Buffalo lolipops were cute/tasty. The Daurade was good to as was the sushi. And, great deserts too.
Be the first to ReplySouth Beach Neighbors: don't forget about this local Gem!
We went to Lure at the Loews Miami Beach on Friday Oct 28, 2022 My husband and I wanted to go out and treat ourselves to some fabulous seafood; but were hesitant as it was a Friday night, the weekend before Halloween. We are South Beach Locals -so we were hoping to avoid the chaos- we found the perfect spot at LURE Fishbar housed in the Loews Hotel. It was my first time at LURE - I was reminded of it as an out of town friend was just at Loews for a work conference and was blown away. The room was gorgeous- tasteful nautical, very upscale. But as the weather in Miami has just lost it's humidity we opted for the outdoor patio seating. Now I walk by this hotel daily - but was so surprised how lovely the view was from the restaurant- Looking over the pool area and the south beach sky- it was really rare to be beachfront- but the vibe was elegant. Peaceful- not the boom boom bikini bass that you often find at beachfront restaurants in Miami... Seafood lovers: definitely check out Lure Fishbar! The quality was outstanding. We started with the seafood tower (photo below) from the shrimp, crab, oysters; everything was shucked perfectly. Loved the ceviche as well. Entrees- I had the Snapper which was super tender and I love the way they prepped the bok choy. My husband had the Tuna which was excellent- the fried rice that came with the Tuna was amazing! Shout out to the staff-our waitress was Kiona. She made great recommendations (she steared me to the Snapper) and did a great job of being present & helpful- but also gave us space and privacy. I'm embarrassed I forgot the name of the host - (Nicole or Jessica..) she was on duty on Friday 10/28/22 at 8:30 and was very sweet when we called to mention we were running behind. All in all a wonderfully pleasant surprise to find this local gem-we will be back!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, polite but slow/poor service
Food was amazing. Snapper for two could have fed three to four people. Wait staff was polite, but service was slow and not up to par for the price and scale of this restaurant. We had to ask for extra drinks other than water, ice melted and was never offered to be refreshed. Note that 20% gratuity is included.

Attended a business dinner here (fixed menu). Good choice of meats (fish, chicken, beef) and tasty food. Unobtrusive service as well.
Be the first to ReplySecond time a charm!
We ate here once before on a previous visit 8 years ago. But this time it was top notch. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Everything was excellent. Great dinner start to finish.
Be the first to ReplyGood but Expensive
We sat outside on a wonderful evening with a nice ocean breeze. But we had the misfortune of an event happening on the lawn below us that had a band, so hearing was hard during dinner. The food was good, the tuna carpaccio, the deviled egg oysters, wasabi oysters, and the filet. But it was also expensive, $60 for a good not great filet and $20 for a glass of wine.
Be the first to ReplyJust average.
I had high expectations for this restaurant. Service was great, and they were extremely busy. However food was just average, nothing over the top.

We attended a SOBE event at the lowe and stopped at Lure for a drink and snack
Sushi is very well prepared and items are in.store like Turo. The drinks are well made service is average.
My bill was over charged
But all in all I will be back
Outstanding: food and maitre d'
Excellent menu. Delicious food. What made the night fantastic was Dennis. His recommendations were perfect. His sense of humor even better. Cocktails and Food... Amazing
Be the first to ReplySeafood Tower!
For a big splash out this is the place. They had a huge seafood dinner with a bottle of champagne for $199. I think that's a seasonal offer though
Be the first to ReplyReliable and pleasant.
Reliable and pleasant. Nice booths and wide apart seatings in a causal environment. Menu is diverse from seafood to American classics. The shrimp cocktail was nice although the shrimps were not jumbo size. The wedge salad was delicious. The burgers were excellent.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious, fresh seafood, great service, strange setting.
We were staying at Loews so decided to visit Lure for Happy Hour on our first night, keep it local and the reviews were good. We were not disappointed, the staff were brilliant, super attentive and knowledgeable and the food was classic Americana with an Asian twist - utterly delicious! We had devilled eggs with caviar, fresh oysters on a half shell, sliders and some of the spicy tuna sushi rolls. Everything was very tasty. Cocktails and wine were just what the travel doctor ordered, solid choice for seafood. The only criticism would be that the decor is a little odd when compared to the ambiance they're trying to create. Light blue and tan plaid upholstered seating and wood panelled walls all set to an ambient electronic music score. It really doesn't go together, but it's easy to ignore as the seafood is good.
Be the first to ReplyCOMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AND BARSTAFF!
Decided to pop into Lure for dinner. We did not have a reservation, however, we decided to stay and sit at the bar. Full menu available - extensive sushi and seafood dishes. We ordered the sea bass and the salmon dishes. Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had - prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. The bartenders were personable, funny and engaging. We met Marcello and ribbed him abit as he was being trained. The sushi chef came out a few times and we had chatted informally each time. Just so nice to see that everyone was down to earth and personable yet professional. Had Marcello make us a drink that no one ever orders anymore or that the bartenders have never made - a Singapore Sling. Hilarious and entertaining and we absolutely enjoyed the Sling. The bartenders surprised us with complimentary desserts, which we sincerely appreciated and really enjoyed. Do not pass up on the homemade ice cream cookies. The key lime pie was in high demand from other patrons so we’re going to give that a try next time. Thanks for a fantastic evening and we look forward to returning for the great food and bar service.

The food was good. The service was ve slow. They forgot to bring my drink. It was hard to get the attention of a waiter, not worth the price,

When you South Beach, find time to visit Lure. Exceptional service and tasty/ quality food. We had a reservation during Super Bowl week and were sat precisely at the time (8:15p). Ordered oysters and sushi - delish!
Be the first to ReplyReally enjoyed my meal here.
Really enjoyed my meal here. Super fresh crispy calamari ( but should have asked for the aioli sauce on the side, it was sweet and sickly and drizzled all over the top) and brilliantly fresh chargrilled whole daurade (sea bream). Lovely homemade sorbets and a good key lime pie. In balance my wife hated her herb encrusted tuna due to the sickly sweet sauce - I think the moral here is always order the sauces on the side. Clearly not the restaurant’s strong point. Service good.
As everywhere in Miami Beach not cheap. Over $200 for two with just one drink each.
Pleasant evening, excellent seafood
We were pleased to find this restaurant which served very good, fresh seafood. We ate at the bar as they were quite busy but were surprised how comfortable it was. The service was very good.
We would definitely return.
